The Ten Dumbest Things We’re Being Asked to Believe About Gaza
1. That Israel had no idea what Hamas was up to prior to October 7, but ever since October 7 has known about every hospital, mosque, school, refugee camp and water tower that Hamas is hiding in.
2. That the blame for all of the deaths caused by Israeli weapons launched by Israel rests solely on Hamas.
3. That Hamas is using “human shields” — meaning Hamas bases are hidden amidst civilian populations — yet Israel is managing to kill thousands of civilians without doing any meaningful damage to Hamas.
4. That it would be perfectly fine to murder children by the thousands even if they were being used as “human shields” — as though resolving a hostage situation by mowing down thousands of child hostages would be regarded as reasonable and acceptable by the public if it happened in our own country.
5. That is is only by pure coincidence that Israel bombing “Hamas targets” in civilian infrastructure and residential buildings just so happens to look exactly the same as what you’d expect to see if Israel was simply bombing civilian infrastructure and residential buildings and lying about its reasons for doing so.
6. That satellite images of entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble in Gaza have been caused by “precision strikes” directed solely at Hamas and have been carried out with the greatest of care for human life, despite Israeli officials openly saying that “the emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy” in this assault and that “Gaza will eventually turn into a city of tents; there will be no buildings.”
7. That this bombing campaign has anything to do with freeing Israeli hostages — as though the bombing campaign itself has not killed dozens of hostages, and as though anyone believes Israel would stop bombing Gaza after the hostages are returned.
8. That the only reason anyone could possibly oppose the detonation of thousands of bombs on an open air prison full of children would be if they had very strong and hateful opinions toward the members of the religion of Judaism.
9. That Hamas attacked Israel entirely out of the blue and completely unprovoked, solely because they are evil and hate Jews.
10. That Washington is powerless to stop this genocide that it is directly funding and supplying.

Supposedly about 10,000 “Palestinians” according to USA Today and figures from “Hamas”. And of course as always the USA continues to give the State of Israel carte blanche anything the State of Israel desires to do as in MOST political office holders are into the “stand with Israel” theme, make that “MUST stand with Israel”. I hear that “MUST” thing from others from time to time, “MUST stand with Israel.”
I honestly have kinda checked out on this whole shindig.

Kidding aside… I have reminded quite a few people about the 500,000 kids. (Children under 6 years old if I remember correctly. Not the “anyone under 25 is a child” figures we get from gun control nuts.) Essentially no one remembers. Essentially no one cares. There is indeed a certain wisdom to being more concerned about kids in your own town than in children a half a world away — but dammit! it was our taxes at work, our politicians (Clinton) calling the commands, and US military carrying out the genocide.

Where were the Israeli military/border guards that day?
How did a Palestinian dozer spend an hour tearing down a section of the Israel/Gaza border fence that allowed hundreds of Hamas to cross over into Israel without anyone noticing and without a response?
How did Hamas motorized hang gliders cross the border fence, without anyone noticing and without a response?
Why was a response so late in coming?
I wrote this down verbatim from a former Israeli soldier who asked the… question:
Set alerts to 3 levels of pressure. She must alert when she is cut. There are 24/7 forces that are responsible for arriving within a few minutes, if not seconds, to the point where there is an alert in the fence. Every day do at least one penetration practice. Each subdivision has a standby squad whose roll is to increase the force in an emergency situation. Observations scattered along the border cover every inch of it. The female observers are champions in identification. They don’t miss. They detect movement even before it even approaches the obstacle – day and night.
At problematic points ( dead areas) they place a tank with observation and detection capabilities, and a terrifying firepower. In some cases snipers are deployed in the field.
Ever day before dawn there is a “dawn alert” procedure. At this hour all the forces are awake (in this case also the hour when hundreds of terrorists entered Israel). The night shift alternates with the day shift. The commander of each force inspects the axis to make sure there were no infiltration’s during the night. Trackers that move on the axis know how to recognize traces. They know who crossed the fence, how much and when.
Each scenario has a clear procedure. For example, a procedure for infiltrating terrorists, a procedure for taking hostages. Everything is written in blood and has been proving itself for years.
There are several other layers of security, in short, we are talking about an obstacle that proves itself for years and years.
So how the hell does a Palestinian tractor move towards the fence without anyone reacting to it?
How did the tractor manage to sabotage the fence for a long hour and open access to Israel without anyone noticing it?
How did hundreds of terrorists and civilians cross the barrier without anyone on our side lifting a finger?
How did hundreds of terrorists stay in Israel territory for long hours, shoot hundreds of Israelis, loot property, without there being even a single reaction from our side?
