I’m not in the least convinced that Julian Assange would know the truth if it bit him in the ass. The guy bribed a US service man to steal classified documents from his own Government. Under the rules we all live by, that’s a big no no. I’m guessing he’s in prison because of that act…an act that many have been put to death for over the course of history.
Think Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, or Benedict Arnold.
I have not heard that he bribed anyone — but even if he had, government bureaucrats, agents, or employees who are engaged in extralegal spying, surveillance, and murder are traitors. The moment they step outside the rule of law they also step outside the authority to declare their acts secret. You are absolutely wrong. Government agents do NOT have authority to arbitrarily “classify” documents so that they may hide their crimes. Government agents are employees of We The People, they are not Kings and Earls who create law. Nixon famously said “If the President does it, then it is legal.” Nixon was an ass. And so is every petty public employee who does not honor his oath to obey the Constitution.
