Meeting in small groups in private facilities is also option.. Major denominations or state 501c3 churches and hierarchies or nat. assoc. are apostate, use watered down Bible translations, some condone lgbtq and focus on social activities and running a business.. The lifestyles of church members don’t measure up to Biblical standards as many no longer in churches know. Pastors are muzzled by 501c3 mandates (man pleasers). Will be told to depart workers of iniquity on judgement day.
In Communist countries, especially China, the only Churches that are allowed are large, mainline denominations strictly controlled by the state. America is following very closely behind in that arena.

I think church attendance is important if for nothing more than the sacraments and the absolution, but I spend hours a week listening to sermons and teachings made available online for people who don’t have faithful churches nearby. The Divine Service is not something I take for granted, though.

My cousin and her husband were in Israel on Oct. 7 when shat hit the fan. They knew to get out of there asap. Called US embassy, their response was you are on your own. Luckily their tour group operator was not as screwed up as the US govt. The tour group operator got them visas to Jordon and they were able to get out quickly. The US government can provide war funds to Israel but not care at all about its citizens in Israel. US government does not care about US citizens that should be obvious by what is going on at our southern border. Yet the sheeple do not see.

I was a US Consular warder in Luanda back in the 1990s when their civil war flared back up. The main reason there are consular services overseas is to ensure you register with the consulate so they can notify the IRS you are working overseas and are obtaining foreign earned income. They even hold events so they can lure the expats in and get them to register with the consulate. Shit hits the fan and they are gone in an instant.
A good example is the Nairobi and Dar es Salaam embassy bombings in 1998. My wife was in the Angolan consulate arranging to get my daughter’s American birth certificate at the same time when the two American embassies were bombed. She had handed over all our passports and birth certificates and was waiting in the lobby when the consulate got word of the bombings and went into lock down. They chased her and my daughter out but didn’t give her back our passports. We were in Angola for about two weeks without our passports until someone from the consulate finally came back to reopen it. Most staff got a month long paid holiday down in Sun City.
