Moscow responds to claims US warned it about possible terrorist target

The Washington Post’s report about the alert is “hoax,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has rejected the Washington Post’s claim that the US had alerted Russia about an immanent terrorist attack on the Crocus City concert hall two weeks before the tragedy, dismissing it as completely false.

On March 22, a group of armed men stormed the venue, killing at least 144 people, including six children, and injuring over 500 others. The terrorist act was the deadliest on Russian soil since the early 2000s.

On Tuesday, citing unnamed US officials, the paper reported that Russian authorities had received an alert with a “high degree of specificity” that the popular venue could be targeted by terrorists. According to the news outlet, the notice came one day before March 7 warning from the US Embassy in Moscow for US citizens to stay away from public gatherings “including concerts” for the following 48 hours, because of the heightened threat.

Zakharova dismissed the report during a press briefing on Wednesday, noting that Moscow has grown “accustomed to American misinformation” as well as the Western media’s repeated attempts to retract their own assertions.

“I would really like… to receive factual material on this topic from the American side. That is, to whom and when did they give this information?” she added.

In the aftermath of the Crocus City Hall massacre, the White House said that the US had shared data with Moscow about a potential terrorist attack. The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin, has confirmed this, but noted that “the information was too general and did not allow us to fully identify those who participated in this terrible crime.”

Russian law enforcement agencies arrested several suspects following the attack, including four suspected gunmen who were caught fleeing towards Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin has described the culprits as radical Islamists, saying that a “window” had been arranged for them on the Ukrainian border.

Moscow has suggested that Ukrainian intelligence services may have been involved in the attack, a claim vehemently denied by Kiev. The US and its allies have insisted that the atrocity was orchestrated by Islamic State terrorists.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused the West of obsessive attempts to clear Ukraine of any culpability. He also advised against jumping to conclusions before the investigation is over.

Why would any Russian believe anything produced by US government alphabet agencies or Main Stream Media ?
Most un indoctrinated Americans still capable of independent thought know nothing from government or media is trustworthy .
The majority employed in government elected appointed or hired and media are parasitic leftist all singing the same bull shit tune !
Somehow these facts have not escaped the Russian government or its citizens while a significant number of Americans are complacently stupefied into a hypnotic state of ignorant bliss !

They wouldn’t. They see it for what it is…the eye gouge after the knife in the back. One more provocation.

Some nations are more inclined to tell the truth than others. The United Snakes has squandered all good will and credibility over 2 decades of outrageous prevarication to achieve nothing of value for citizens.

As an exercise in realism, rank the probability of a hypothetical treaty or agreement being honored, in full, by the following govts today :

  • Japan
  • Sweden
  • Portugal
  • Russia
  • Congo
  • Israel
  • North Korea
  • United States

Now rank them by current reputation for double-dealing, ungracious excuse making, and corruption. Who do you think deserves to be helped back on their feet after an unforeseen disaster? Tick tock.

literally none of them
sure, some have historically been better than others, but think of japan, one or two of their ex-leaders got whacked for being part of the Moonie cult, which like half of their politicians are involved with somehow.
Sweden is ran by women who joined nato.
Best korea is taking people’s dogs for food.
Instead of turtles, it’s niggers and kikes all the way down.

My point boils down to this. The ‘nation’ has nothing to do with the government, spooks, or media.

only clocksuckers tick tock, faggot

So the Russian spokesperson agrees with 70% of the American population…the MSM and government talking heads are all liars. Funny how Russia has been our ally in the Revolutionary War, Civil War and WWII…while our own government became our enemy at the end of WWII…when they became the Nazi’s.

Did the Russians think that they were going to identify all the CIA agents involved?
