The Financial Jigsaw – Issue No. 6

Last week I explained my analogy of the ‘Jigsaw’ as representing the global financial system and how each element interacts with others to form a complex adaptive system which falls under the laws of chaos theory. In this regard, a tipping point is reached when all the interlocking pieces of the structure collapse before sprouting a new construction; much like a forest fire allows young shoots to grow into new trees and bushes: see here: https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/06/16/the-financial-jigsaw-issue-no-5/#comment-1636504 Today, I promised an intriguing mind-game along the lines of Albert Einstein’s excellent examples; so let’s get on with it and see what I mean about chaos theory and its effects within the global financial system.

The Financial Jigsaw – Issue No. 5

My unpublished (100,000 word) book “The Financial Jigsaw”, is being serialised here weekly in 100 issues by Peter J Underwood, author

Last week we looked at some of the outcomes and lessons of the Cyprus event as a portent of things to come: see here: https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/06/09/the-financial-jigsaw-issue-no-4/  Today, by way of a diversion, I want to explain some of the background to the global financial jigsaw, the reason I have named it as such and how it relates to the overall complex global financial system itself, and which has within it the seeds of its own destruction.  The present troubles in Europe, USA, emerging economies and the looming trade wars are causing the system to destabilise, the results of which will become evident as the imminent debt crisis falls upon us in the coming months.

The Financial Jigsaw – Issue No.4

My unpublished (100,000 word) book “The Financial Jigsaw”, is being serialised here weekly in 100 issues by Peter J Underwood, author

Last week we looked at the general conditions prevailing around the Cyprus event: see here https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/06/02/the-financial-jigsaw-issue-no-3/#comment-1632166 . Today, I am going to focus on some of the outcomes of the Cyprus affair by way of detailing lessons to be learned and items to be aware of when the bankers’ Bail-in process begins again in the not too distant future.  We are already seeing cracks appearing in the global financial system; Italy and Spain being extant recent examples.

The first and most important subsequent lesson is about the so-called “government guarantee schemes” which in UK amounts to £85,000 limit below which the banks should not take your savings; but this is no longer the case:

The Financial Jigsaw – Issue No.3

My unpublished (100,000 word) book “The Financial Jigsaw”, is being serialised here weekly in 100 issues by Peter J Underwood, author

We discussed the Cyprus event last week: see here issue-no-2 so now we should think about the general condition of our economic world which so energised the banksters to commit acts of blatant robbery that, had it been individuals that perpetrated them, they would have been locked up for a very long time.

The Cyprus event finally shattered my naturally optimistic outlook and became the driving force for my book.

Insidiously, the consensus about how the world operates is based on things that constitute unreal cultural constructs, especially TV, where younger people are held hostage to a cognitive field of rapidly degenerating, show-biz artefacts which become ever more ridiculous until daily life seems little more than a continuous circus of implausible, made-up spectacle that disguises the covert raids on our wealth.

The Financial Jigsaw – Issue No.2

My unpublished (100,000 word) book “The Financial Jigsaw”, is being serialised here weekly in 100 issues by Peter J Underwood, author

I hinted in Issue 1 last week that it is the remoteness of ‘BIG’ government that disconnects the people from their unelected, elite bureaucrats as is so clearly witnessed in the European Union among many other examples. In UK we are working to change this in preparation for the coming post-collapse world: http://harrogateagenda.org.uk/

But enough of politics, back to the dispersed jigsaw pieces that I am trying so hard to put together to make that complete picture of our global financial system.

I sat at my computer one morning, as I have done for over twenty years, trawling the internet for the latest financial reports and market gossip. This is my hobby, keeping up to date, ever since the internet was launched in 1991. I traded shares on the stock market in the 1990s and was pleased to find that I could actually make more profits than losses until the 21st century dawned, markets went south rapidly and I jumped ship.

The Financial Jigsaw – Issue No.1

My unpublished (100,000 word) book “The Financial Jigsaw”, is being serialised here weekly in 100 issues by Peter J Underwood, author

This book is about the most serious global financial crisis the world has ever faced. It started with rumblings in the first decade of the 21st century and the coming decades will see an exponential change in the way we live. You will already suspect that ‘things are not quite right with the world in general’ and you would be right. Economic growth, as we have known it in the past 200 years, is coming to an end.

It is odd that deep down we all know intuitively what is right or wrong; it is an essential part of our makeup to allow us to survive in a fundamentally hostile world. How many of us have ignored the signs by putting them aside, and choose to see the world as we would have it be?
