Defecation Nation

Via The Washington Times,

America is getting pooped, thanks to trend-setting California. There is no getting around the fact that the Golden State is at the forefront of a defecation crisis which is already overflowing into neighboring states. The Left Coast has become the home of the homeless, the nation’s lost souls who apparently have settled for simply existing rather than really living. Sleeping out in the open spaces and pooping in public places are jarring signs that a segment of society has given up. The demoralizing, downward spiral is likely to accelerate unless Americans resolve to clean up their act.

Nation’s Chick-Fil-A Employees Begin Marching Around Popeyes Restaurants Blowing Trumpets

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S. —The war between God’s chosen chicken sandwich restaurant and the heathen chicken restaurant Popeyes continues to heat up. Early Monday morning, the nation’s Chick-fil-A employees were seen marching around nearby Popeyes restaurants blowing various horns.

The smiling fast-food workers sang religious lyrics like “My eyes have seen the glory of a Chick-fil-A sandwich” and “Bless the poultry, my soul, O my soul” as blew on shofars and trumpets as they marched around the Popeyes restaurants seven times.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY – Protests at Democratic National Convention in Chicago – 1968

Via History.com

On August 28, 1968, at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, thousands of Vietnam War protesters battle police in the streets, while the Democratic Party falls apart over an internal disagreement concerning its stance on Vietnam. Over the course of 24 hours, the predominant American line of thought on the Cold War with the Soviet Union was shattered.

I can’t wait until these people are in charge of healthcare…

Guest Post by Simon Black

Last week at a Bernie Sanders campaign stop, someone ask him a question that began with, “Yesterday, oligarch David Koch passed away…”

The Bolshevik crowd interrupted immediately with ebullient cheers, joyfully celebrating the death of a man they had never met and knew nothing about.

If you hadn’t heard, multi-billionaire David Koch died last week at the age of 79 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Along with his brother Charles, David Koch was co-owner of Koch Industries, one of the largest private companies in the world.

The Cuck’s Life

Guest Post by The Zman

The triggering event for when the so-called conservative movement made the final turn toward the dustbin of history was when the term “cuckservative” started to gain traction on social media. A portmanteau of “conservative” and “cuckold”, coined by fans of Richard Spencer, it captured the very essence of the person peddling Buckley-style conservatism during the populist revolt of 2015. These were men routinely humiliated by their women, with the women being their political masters on the Left.

CNN Apologizes To Stalin, Mao After Comparing Them To Trump

Via The Babylon Bee

ATLANTA, GA—CNN has apologized to Stalin and Mao after a guest compared the brutal dictators to Donald Trump.

Surveillance Video Outside Epstein’s Cell Deemed ‘Unusable’

Via ZeroHedge

It appears that Jeffrey Epstein had really good timing when he, according to New York Chief Medical Examiner Barbara Sampson, decided to hang himself in his Manhattan jail cell the morning of August 10th – crushing bones in his neck which can fracture during hangings, but are typically broken during homicide by strangulation.

Not only was his cellmate moved out the day before he died, overworked prison guards reportedly fell asleep – missing their assigned 30-minute checks on the highest profile inmate in the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC). Epstein had recently been taken off suicide watch stemming from mysterious injuries he received weeks earlier. The convicted pedophile said he had been attacked.

Here’s a dirty secret few people know about gold

Guest Post by Simon Black

In 1962 in a picturesque setting in Santa Barbara, California, two local entrepreneurs opened a low-cost, roadside inn where the nightly room rate was just $6.

They called it Motel 6.

And today the chain has grown to over 1,400 locations.

If you want the most straightforward explanation for why you should own gold, consider your local Motel 6.

Conquering the Earth

Guest Post by Jeff Thomas via International Man

US empire - Conquering

The Akkadian Empire is often regarded as the world’s first empire, reaching its peak between the 24th and 22nd centuries BC, some 4,400 years ago.

It was in the Middle East, home of quite a few empires over the millennia. It began with King Sargon, who, having succeeded at conquering his neighbours in Babylonia, decided to expand further into Syria and Canaan.

King Sargon established a fad that has remained until the present day. In any era since his time, there have been those nations that, having had initial successes at conquest, couldn’t resist the temptation to “have it all.”

Each, in turn, had occasion to learn why this is not the most sensible objective for a nation to pursue.

Saying Good-bye:

To A Friend

 The Golden Good-bye

My friend Tom, as I have describe occasionally in comments here on TBP, is dying from stage IV liver cancer. He has survived for more than two years longer than the original estimate of end-of-life that the doctors gave him. He has lasted at least eight months longer than their last ‘this is it’ three month dead-line.

I have been visiting him every couple of weeks for close to three years, with an infrequent longer stretch between visits at times. He and his wife live about 160 miles away, in Baker City, so it does take some planning. Generally I stay over-night; sometimes that‘s not feasible and I make the return trip that evening.
