I am going to precede what I am going to talk about here with something else that in itself I would have thought rather noteworthy.

Xi just opened the CCP conference on Monday with the statement that the control of Hong Kong is now “complete” and that “Taiwan is next.”

I am pretty stunned that there is — at least as of my writing this — no comment in Western MSM on this.

Now, considering the above, think of the dumbest person you’ve ever met.

Amplify this person by, say, 100X and then imagine what such a person may do given the above.

You think I’m being overly sensationalistic? I wish I were.

I am still in shock.

Prepare For China To Invade Taiwan This Year: Top Navy Official

A high-level Navy official said Wednesday that the US should prepare for the possibility of China invading Taiwan as soon as this year. “So when we talk about the 2027 window, in my mind, that has to be a 2022 window or potentially a 2023 window. I can’t rule it out,” said Adm. Michael Gilday, the chief of naval operations.

The “2027 window” refers to a claim from retired Adm. Phil Davidson, the former head of US Indo-Pacific Command, who said last year he believes China could invade within six years. Gilday said he was prioritizing a “fight tonight” posture for the US Navy with respect to China and Russia.

China Says “No One & No Force” Could Stop It From Taking Taiwan – Sends 13 Jets Toward Island

With a close eye on Ukraine developments, China issued another warning clearly aimed at Washington as well as its major regional partners like Australia over the weekend which said any nation supporting Taiwan militarily will suffer “the worst consequences”.

China’s Ministry of National Defense further stated “no one and no force” could ever stop the Chinese military from bringing Taiwan under Beijing’s control if it desires. According to Sky News, “The tirade was delivered a day after Chinese President Xi Jinping engaged in diplomatic talks with Australia in an attempt to repair international relations.” And speaking of Russia’s war in Ukraine, and the question of West-led sanctions from Beijing’s eyes…
