Democrats’ Diversity — Only in the Back of the Bus

Democrats' Diversity -- Only in the Back of the Bus

The promise of victory offered by Biden and the ideological agenda offered by Sanders and Warren trumped the ethnic appeal of Booker, Castro and Kamala Harris.

The “Our diversity is our strength!” Party is starting to look rather monochromatic in its upper echelons these days.

The four leading candidates for its presidential nomination — Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg — are all white.

The six candidates who have qualified for the Dec. 19 debate — the front four, plus Amy Klobuchar and Tom Steyer — are all white.

The Trip Down The Stairs

Guest Post by The Zman

In the year prior to a presidential election, Thanksgiving is usually when primary races for party nominations begin to come into focus. Donors have had most of the year to assess the candidates and the voters are starting to pay attention. The first test is a little over two months away, so all of the candidates have their people in the field. The boots on the ground test is one of those unofficial measures that tell us something about the organic and financial support for each candidate.

Dem Debate Skirts Threat to American Quality of Life: Unsustainable Population Growth

Guest Post by Joe Guzzardi

On Tuesday, 12 Democratic presidential hopefuls took to the stage at Otterbein University near Columbus, Ohio, to pitch their credentials. The dozen are, if not open borders supporters, then at least advocates for loose borders. Ask the candidates their positions on the environment and ecological stability, however, and the dozen would be on board about the importance of a green America. But the reality, which they prefer to ignore, is that open borders are incompatible with protecting the nation’s environmental future.

The candidates are more than willing to talk about the perceived benefits of Medicare for all, income inequality, gun control and climate change.

Will the Democrats Self-Destruct?

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

I know the press is spinning this that Trump will surely lose in 2020. Our models do not indicate that as yet. There remains the risk as we had forecast back in 1985 that the Democrats could cease to exist after 2020 and split at the very minimum. The other part of that forecast was that 2016 was the first opportunity for a possible third-party candidate to win. It appears that forecast was correctly made way back in 1985. That target was from the beginning of this 51.6-year Business Cycle 1985.65. It was the Pi target which was + 31 years = 2016.

Democrats Propose Mandatory Free Speech Buyback For Dangerous Ideas

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S.—A number of Democratic candidates have seized on a new initiative to make Americans feel safer: a mandatory buyback. “There are a number of ideas out there that just make people upset when they’re said out loud,” said presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke. “It’s time to take those ideas off the street. That’s why it’s past time for a mandatory free speech buyback.”

Wall Street’s Worst Nightmare for 2020 Is Coming True

Wall Street's Worst Nightmare for 2020 Is Coming True

For plutocrats, this summer has gotten a bit scary. Two feared candidates are rising. Trusted candidates are underperforming. The 2020 presidential election could turn out to be a real-life horror movie: A Nightmare on Wall Street.

“Wall Street executives who want Trump out,” Politico reported in January, “list a consistent roster of appealing nominees that includes former Vice President Joe Biden and Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Kamala Harris of California.”

But seven months later, those “appealing nominees” don’t seem appealing to a lot of voters. Biden’s frontrunner status is looking shaky, while other Wall Street favorites no longer inspire investor confidence: Harris is stuck in single digits, Booker is several points below her, and Gillibrand just dropped out of the race.

Political Polarization – Are the Democrats Trying to Change American Politics by Opening Borders?

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

There are trends which have unfolded in politics that cannot be repaired and reflect the decline in confidence in the government which is dominating the future into 2032. We face not only the polarization of politics which is emerging into hate politics, but we are also witnessing the attempt to subvert the political system for political power.

Trump 2020 Campaign To Simply Air Unedited Footage Of Democrats Talking

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Trump campaign has unveiled its 2020 campaign strategy of airing unedited footage of speeches and press conferences by far-left Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and that other one.

GOP commercials will air the footage around the clock. The speeches will not be edited in any way. Rather than pushing their own policy proposals, Republicans will just remind the nation of just who it is they’re running against.

Eat Popcorn As Democrats Eat Themselves

Eat Popcorn As Democrats Eat Themselves

The pain of your enemy should be your joy, and we conservatives are pegging the joymeter right about now watching the political sepsis that is CongressKid AOC and her merry band of idiots running rampant within the flabby body of the Democrat Party. There’s only one solution to the gangrene caused by her and that brother-marrying weirdo who cheers for the wrong side in Black Hawk Down and Ms. Palestine. You have to amputate. But the donkeys can’t do it. That would cripple or kill the patient. So, what to do about the infection ravaging their party? It’s quite the dilemma.

Quite the hilarious dilemma. Pass the Orville Redenbacher while we watch them cannibalize themselves in Donner Party 2: Election Boogaloo.

Democrats Double Down On Hating America

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

Democrats Double Down On Hating America

You gotta hand it to them – it’s an innovative strategy to run for President by taking the position that your country is garbage and that its are people deplorable monsters. It’ll be interesting to see how the Democrats fare on their “America sucks!” platform. The last week has seen Team Donkey take brave stands against the flag and celebrating our military, and you would half expect them to next advocate something insanely suicidal, like taking your health insurance or forcing you to pay for illegal aliens’ doctors.

Oh wait, that happened too.

Who are these lunatics? Do they really think this is going to play in America as well as it does in Chicago, Manhattan and Scat Francisco?

They do.

But it’s not.

The Bolsheviks aren’t coming. They’re already here.

Guest Post by Simon Black

The average Westerner who hasn’t traveled very much believes Moscow to be a cold, bleak, desolate capital city that’s filled with Stalinist-era architecture and a population that lives in utter misery.

But the reality of this place is nearly the complete opposite.

Moscow is a bright, beautiful, cosmopolitan city. I’ve always found Moscow to feel more European than most European capitals, with gorgeous architecture that never seems to end.

Moscow is easily as nice as Paris, London, or Vienna… with a population larger than all three. I like it here more and more every time I visit.

It has some of the nicest restaurants in the world, beautiful parks and monuments, and a highly sophisticated, educated, cultured population.

The city is quite prosperous too. But it wasn’t always that way.

Democrats Vow To Close Dangerous Gun-Buying Loophole Known As ‘The Second Amendment’

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S.—Democrats have made vows to place extreme restrictions on guns, but they keep running into a problem: Many of their ideas can’t go into effect because of an early addendum to the Constitution. They’re now calling this the “Second Amendment loophole.”

“We just want to get guns off the streets,” Cory Booker, one of 583 presidential candidates, told the press, “but this Second Amendment loophole makes it so we can’t do that. We need to close that loophole.”

Politics and Aesthetics

Guest Post by The Zman

The Democrats are about to kick-off their fashion show for picking their next presidential candidate, so the experts are trying to set the tone for the season. The fashion show is a good analogy at this stage. Designers don’t always come up with new styles that work with the public, so they try different things, hoping for one or two that work. They hope to come up with something that catches the attention of a taste-maker, like a Hollywood starlet, then all of a sudden they have a hit with the public.

Steve Jobs figured this out the second time around with Apple. It was not about cutting edge technology or making a better product. That was a field with too many big money smart players. His game was going to be as trend setter and taste-maker. He tailored the company to be the symbol of the smart set, the people who fashion themselves a cut above the masses. These are the people who determine the latest styles. The lowly music player soon became a fashion and cultural statement.

NIMBY – California’s Virtue Signaling Democrats Are Total Hypocrites

Via ZeroHedge

Despite California’s reputation as a ‘sanctuary state’ that promises to welcome illegal immigrants with open arms and taxpayer-funded handouts, rich Democrats in the Golden State are afflicted with a severe case of NIMBY-ism, according to the Washington Examiner‘s editorial board.

And while tens of thousands of immigrants are answering the call amid a crisis-level housing shortage, these virtue-signaling Democrats refuse to commit state resources towards accomodating the influx of new residents.
