As you can see, in Carson’s map the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine are moved northeast by about 150 miles or so. Vermont and New York now have hundreds of miles of new beachfront property. Massachusetts shares a border with Canada. Maine straddles what is now the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
Also, if you look closely at the mid-Atlantic area, you’ll see that Virginia’s portion of the Delmarva Peninsula is colored red to match Maryland, rather than gray with the rest of Virginia.

So, pretty close, even though Josh Brolin has people to make him look good. I just took a crude selfie after a rough day at work, so there’s that.
Whilst the Kodak 35mm cans were plentiful, Fuji were better (transparent so contents visible). For endurance / water-tightness, choose Agfa – aluminium with a deformable polymer inner seal.
Must have “re-purposed” dozens over the years – they made the ideal container for smaller electronics projects, and the plastic was strong enough to accept holes.
The Agfa cans were great for building RF pre-amps, since there is space for BNC connectors (or SO-259 if you HAD to have durable), and a reasonable number of components. If space was a problem – lop off the can end (using a pipe cutter) and joint two together (conductive epoxy works fine). Ideal for use in an exposed, mast-head environment.
