The opening ceremonies of the Gotthard Tunnel in Switzerland has got to be seen to be believed. I’d describe it for you, but I don’t want to spoil things. Go on, have a look, let’s hear your impressions.

Not hard to understand .This is what happens when a people turn away from their biblical principles.They turn to some kind of paganism. I watched the first clip and I got nothing but the obvious batshit crazy response because what else could it possibly BE?

Orange is representative of prisoners …….. people dancing in their undies represents the shedding of prisoner status .. freedom ….. according to my undie observational skills, Swiss men have tiny dicks ………. the goat always represents the Devil, representative of the tunnel dug deep in the earth …….. the clock represents time and the punctual finish of the project …. the rest is just Old Swiss Mythology (like, Krampus) and some Egyptian imagery …. the goat-man dies ….. and at the end of the ceremony is resurrected ….. and worshiped as he becomes aware of of technology and modern society — complete with actors clothed as cross dressers, drifters and harlots. Perfect.
Easy to see why sensitive Christians would be offended.
Note; that angel with tits hovering over nine miners —- that represents the nine workers died in accidents while the tunnel was under construction … their deaths will be permanently commemorated by a plaque dedicated to Saint Barbara — the patron saint of mining — near the northern end of the tunnel.

The Art Director had one too many mushrooms. The performers – well, most people will do anything for money, even at the expense of appearing ludicrous, which is exactly the case for this assault on the senses.

Like the monochrome blue paintings in art galleries. The idiot standing in front of it wondering what the painting means is part of the art. The painting actually must be viewed from a 90 degree angle to catch the facial expression of the viewer.

Am actually glad you did because I was able to provide a much better link with commentary off your post. Ironically, as the event tries so hard to be cutting-edge, it’s quite boring. I feel sorry for the poor people trapped in the audience wishing they could get out of there.
Reminds me of the CERN ceremonies. Naturally Switzerland is where the Satanist congregate, its where the money is. Not just the gold, real money, but BIS and probably most of the title as well. Bend the knee, or be sacrificed to Baal, Baphomet, Lucifer, in exchange for money magic.
