Too Poor to Continue Living with Dignity – Canadian Eugenics

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Canada is not hiding its depopulation and eugenics efforts. The Trudeau Administration recently expanded the MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) program to include those with treatable illnesses or those suffering from poverty. Almost anyone, including children, can request a medically assisted death in Canada with a quick turnaround. Families are unable to protect their loved ones from the law. The MAID program was originally designed for those living in unbearable chronic pain and/or a terminal illness. Poverty or temporary hardship is now considered a terminal illness for which there is no cure besides death.

The Canadian health system is coercing people at their lowest point to end their lives. Canada could prioritize health care and expand assistance to disabled Canadians who are unable to work. Instead, they are clearly discriminating against those suffering from poverty or mental health issues, and doctors are no longer required to treat their patients. The system is encouraging suicide over treatment as it is the most cost-effective option. There is no guarantee those murdered while under medical supervision are capable of making an informed decision; the law will be used to depopulate the undesirables.

The Netherlands and Belgium, where assisted suicide is offered on a medical basis, forbid doctors from suggesting the method unless all other options are exhausted. Canadian doctors are encouraged to offer the option to those deemed too poor to live. “Euthanasia” will not appear on the victim’s death certificate, depending on the province in which they were murdered by their government. In 2021, the number of those requesting MAID in the country rose by over 32% from the year prior, and that number will rise. As the economy turns down, those “too poor to continue living with dignity” will feel obligated to choose a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

“[MAID is] probably the biggest existential threat to disabled people since the Nazis’ program in Germany in the 1930s,” stated Tim Stainton, director of the Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship at the University of British Columbia. Pope Francis condemned the treatment of the elderly, mentally ill, and poor in Canada. “Patients who, in place of affection, are administered death,” the pope warned.

Adolf Hitler killed off “useless eaters” who did not contribute to his ideal version of society. They were forcibly taken to camps or executed on the spot. Canada is attempting to murder “useless eaters” under the guise of health care and compassion. The general public is turning a blind eye to what could become a genocide of the poor.

From the article: “ Canada could prioritize health care and expand assistance to disabled Canadians who are unable to work.”

Anytime you start paying people who are unable to work, the program expands steadily until it includes people who are unwilling to work. SSDI is the example of how that happens.

And what is the financial line in the sand for assistance? $100,000 a year? $1 million? $100 million? Should the very elderly and infirm be kept alive by any means and any cost?

Armstrong just wants an open check book.

Dumb comment. 90% of Canada is jabbed. The jab they were forced to take is making them disabled so they should be labeled lazy and left to die because Trudeu is a psychopath? Money doesn’t matter, LIFE matters.

The jab they were forced to take

Nope. Nobody I am aware of was forced. Coerced, intimidated, threatened? Some, yes.

Every person I know took it willingly, if rarely reluctantly. Several to keep their job, but most so they could “go to restaurants, movies, pubs” or “so I can travel”. One actually said, “I am just going to get it so we can get back to normal”.

I questioned many of them and suggested that they really should consider if job/travel/entertainment were worth the possible dangerous side effects. ALL of them mocked and said I was worried over nothing.

At least three are now dead. No way to know if it was the shot, as the family did not request an autopsy. Why would anyone need an autopsy for three previously healthy and fit ~30yo women who “died suddenly”? I am sure these family members sleep soundly, having made sure that they would NOT know for sure what killed their children.

But again, they all took the shot willingly. Nobody “forced” them.

“Why can’t I die?” “Why won’t God let me die?” “Please God please let me die!”

My mom says that kind of thing from the moment she wakes up and continues on until she goes to sleep. I am not exaggerating.

It breaks my heart. It wears me down, causes me anguish nonstop. There isn’t a damned thing anyone can do to ease her nonstop chronic pain. She’s 92 and doesn’t want to see 93. Can you blame her? Would YOU want to live like that …if that’s even living?

If assisted-dying was legal in NJ, I’m fairly sure she would opt for it.

“Healthcare” is not meant to cure anyone of anything. It’s meant to “treat” symptoms with drugs that usually cause other problems. Particularly in the elderly. Drug interactions happen all the time and make the elderly patients miserable.

My father-in-law says the same thing every day. He’s COPD and congestive heart failure at 83. He can barely breath but still wants the hospital to give him a new replacement heart valve. Doctors say he may never come off the ventilator after the procedure but it’s scheduled anyway.

If you were the one who had to put your mom to death, would you do it?

My mom died from alzhiemer’s. She didn’t know who anyone was for the last 2 years of her life and ended up in a fetal position starving because she wouldn’t eat. My brother and I had to tell the nursing home not to install a feeding tube. So in way, we had a hand in her death. Wanna know what my biggest regret is? That I was not there. She was 600 miles away and my brother told me over and over not to come because she didn’t acknowledge anyone. I regret that I listened to him. I regret not being there.

It’s a slippery slope for sure. When you are killing homeless people instead of addressing the mental health issues that caused the homelessness, it’s only a step away from killing people who are guilty of “wrongthink”.

There is an answer to the problem. It’s a spiritual problem requiring a spiritual solution.

“If you were the one who had to put your mom to death, would you do it?”

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My pro-euthanasia proclivity would come with a LOT of qualifiers. For example, I vote a big NYET(!!!) for the state offing people because of poverty or mental illness. If a poor person wants to die let them commit suicide on THEIR OWN, without asking the State to do it!

As you rightly stated …. there are no good, or easy, answers.

Millions of folks looking for relief, do you just hand them a paper to agree to kill themselves? There will be people of all ages and children involved, IS POVERTY a reason to end it all? A good friend of mine had to make the decision to withdraw life support in a dire situation with near zero chance for full recovery after his 93 year old father suffered a bursted aortic aneurysm and was getting worse. Was intubated before there was knowledge that his advance directive included “no intubation”. It was a very difficult decision to be the one to tell the doctors to withdraw mechanical ventilation and hasten death, even though it was what his Dad would have wanted.

I made the decision to starve my fiercely independent father, who could no longer eat due to Parkinson’s Disease to death. It was the most painful period of my life and a slow agonizing death for him.

I was also the one who OKd morphine injections for my dying mother, also slowly starving to death due to unsuccessful operation for bowel obstruction , which sent her one her way peacefully. This is the hospice’s dirty little secret. While assisted suicide my not be legal in the USA, it nod nod wink wing by the comfort care industry.

My mother who was a frail skeleton, bedridden and often hallucinating dead relatives, was also a former healthcare worker herself and knew what the morphine was for…to ease patients painlessly into the afterlife, and did not want it, but after weeks of seeing her lay their unresponsive in hospice , I OK’d the morphine and she slipped on away.

While my siblings shirked the responsibility, I stepped up and made the decision. It was best and I do it again.

Regarding morphine: It’s a great painkiller but if you have to take it for very long in lower doses you also have some uncomfortable side effects. Fleabags hated taking morphine but it was the only thing that relieved the pain his heart was causing.

I found out by accident that I can’t take morphine. When my epidural wore off after my hip replacement the pain meds weren’t working very well. They gave me a shot of morphine and my blood pressure dropped almost immediately to 65/34. I actually remember it because my vision got really weird like blackness closing in. The nurses freaked out called the doc and they gave me intravenous fluids and I don’t know what else but it worked.

So if anyone wanted to kill me quickly, that would be the way to do it.

I feel your pain. Similar story with my mother in law. At 98 years old, she no longer wanted to live as she felt like she was a burden to her family and had no joy in her life. She lived alone in her home but needed the constant daily help of her son just to manage. The voices she heard were of course not really there, but she would not accept that, eventually convinced that those were her departed friends and family calling for her, wondering why it was taking so long for her to join them. Sad all around. She had escaped Nazi Germany in the 30’s as a young woman and was a photographer; she even showed me some authentic photos she took of the SS marching in her town. To see her reduced to such a shell of her former self was heartbreaking. She died one month shy of her 100th birthday.

I have struggled mightily to accept that there is no bottom to the utter depravity shown by the government that is running (ruining) my country. Inge fled this very same evil as a young woman yet lived long enough to see it reborn in the very country she fled to. At least she lived safely and well through the best years this country had to offer. But where might my 20-something aged family members be able to flee to now?

Stuckman, first off, sorry to hear about your mum and her suffering.

My mum was a doc,and patients with chronic conditions just getting worse could not be legally aided in ending life and the suffering.

That said, many docs write pain pill subscriptions for a month or more/knowing they have no control over how many pills a patient takes at a time. This left the patient and friends/family to come to whatever decisions they were comfortable with which is as it should be in my opinion, hell,we give our pets that dignity though sad when needed.

I will say when the govt. starts making the decisions, not the patient and family, tis time to start shooting those who push and enable genocide,evisceration/woodchipper/run over by truck/death by asphyxiation/burned/hung all also viable alternatives for genocidal leaders and their minions, your solutions may differ!

I and some friends made a pact long ago as to when to put us down if our wishes are not followed, start with a good end of treatment ect. health care proxy and a health care decider.

Best to Stuckmans mum and all who live with miserable/life draining conditions, hope the next chapter is better.

My grandmother died at 93, always healthy as a cattle though, so the situation was much different than yours. She always said “I wonder what I will die from, but it must be something”. Then, one day, she didn’t feel well, had diarrhea and general malaise, and died 2 days later. One of the last things she said to my mother (who was always her caretaker for decades) in the last 48 hours of her life was “Thank you for everything”. You never know when and how it will happen. I wish you both patience and strength, Stucky.

I am currently going through the EXACT same thing with my mother, 90. Alzheimer’s AND dementia. Constantly “remembering” having talked with people long dead “just yesterday”. Doesn’t know her own address. It’s demoralizing for all involved.

Trips to the ER every other month. Broken back (x2), broken hip (x2), broken elbow (x2) broken nose…the list keeps growing despite all efforts to prevent it. UTI’s, kidney stones, skin tags, irrational mood swings with violent rage.

We are not alone. This has become a true pandemic as life spans have increased. This is the price we’re paying for that. And yes it will test the limits of your spiritual, physical and mental endurance.

My sister commented to me yesterday that we got the worst end of this deal. As we grew up we became easier for our parents to manage (they could always resort to beating the living shit out of us in a pinch)…whereas the parents get ever more difficult to deal with as they decline. It’s a full time job just protecting them from themselves.

My take on life is to meet things head on and punch thru. Trying to avoid things only means you’ll have to face it again as it always seems to come back around. I’d sooner beat or get beat early than wait for the axe to fall later. but maybe , I’m a masochist, I guess.

The body — in whatever form — follows the soul, not the other way around.

St. Augustine and numerous others are correct — and I remember hearing it stated ‘When you have the power to create life, then you will have the right to end life.’

Life and death are God’s purview … not ours … and we tread a very, very dangerous path if we decide to pursue agendas other than trying to live in God’s will.

Remember God’s love and mercy and grace are always here for us … but this entire Creation is God’s to do with … not ours. Even the Lord’s Prayer says, ‘Thy Will be done … on earth as it is in heaven’.

Your wrong on that. The physical body does not survive after death. Soul does. Though suicide may show a lacking of Soul. It does not destroy Soul. You are mixing up the two. There are many books of people who have passed on, and came back and they report on this. I have also experienced the release of Soul from the physical body during deep contemplation. There are also many books about this. You are just not well informed. There are actually five bodies. The physical, astral/emotional, casual/memory, mental/mind, etheric/subconscious, and then there is Soul, which is no body, but light and sound. All religions have writing about this in one way or another. Jesus said in my house there are many mansions. I could give many more examples. But it is best to research things yourself.

What is God’s punishment for killing yourself? The loss of your soul? People tend to just see the body and don’t consider the fate of the soul, that was my point.

One can discuss god, etc. and that is fine, but it still puts the power and the right back in YOUR hand, not the state’s. If not for medical intervention in many cases, lots of folks would simply die. By withdrawing the intervention or withholding it, are YOU playing god? Hard to make that case, given that the natural course of events would result in death. My mother, who died of COPD/Alzheimer’s, most certainly would NOT have wanted to live out her life as she did at the end. Being Catholic and likely afraid of the process, she would never have taken her own life. Would she, while she had all of her faculties, documented a sound choice to have her life ended should those circumstances have befallen her in the future? I fully believe that she would have. But guess what? NOBODY, not even the countries or states that allow assisted suicide, will allow that. You need to be of “sound mind” and be only 6 months from death. Not sure of Canada’s details, but obviously this is simply a genocide program because the “virus” and the jabs haven’t killed enough and the socialist state cannot afford more useless eaters. But there must be a middle ground. Far too much money for the medical industry to make to allow folks to opt out of care just because they get dementia. Far too much money to be saved by the socialists in not having to take care of folks who are too depressed to slave away earning money for the state.

Someone very close to me was approved for MAID last spring. Somewhere around the first of April. I tried, at the time, to stay out of it, feeling it was none of my business. It was the wrong move on my part. More should have been done to support her needs. She was at the time going thru a very difficult bit in her life personally.

She is only 38 years old and granted she does have health issues, she has cancer, but it was shocking how easy it was for her to get approved. Once I would have been for assisted suicide but this experience has changed my mind.

She is still with us…

The process right now is just too easy to complete.

Lately been trying to do that Brian. This woman adopted my step-granddaughter just over six years ago. She has been a terrific mom and blessing to a very special little girl’s life. It is complicated but we are a family.

Being that she is youngest in her brood, a surprise baby, her parents are long gone. So she decided, some years ago, to adopt me as her Dad. At first I thought she was not serious, that it was just a passing comment in conversation one day on the phone.

But she was serious. In the spring, when everything was spinning outta control, I was completely outta the loop as to what was really going on… Reason being that she lived in Alberta and I could not fly to see her because I am a nazi and the Government wouldn’t let the filthy unvaxxed fly on a plane.

So far away…

Just one moar indignity foisted on us by this Godless government.. but that was the point, the masks, the mandates, the godlessness, and the jabs was done with the intent to fuel hopelessness and disconnect… I will not let them win.

Lately I am taking my responsibilities seriously as the patriarch of this blended family.. I think that change by me in outlook is making a difference.. she moved to Nova Scotia in September so it is much easier to see her. She is still having health problems but being closer helps her get thru the treatments..

And I get see a little girl that calls me Bumpy..

Everyone is glad that she didn’t go thru with it.

So yeah I am trying now to encourage her live. So for now, it’s so far and so good.

So many damned sad stories in this world!!

“Those were the days, my friend We thought they’d never end We’d sing and dance forever and a day We’d live the life we choose We’d fight and never lose Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days.”

I had so many days like that, maybe even years, … for I was young once.

And now what? I’ve spent the better part of the last five years watching people I love die … which is bad enough, but dying in nasty ways. God, what a life, getting old truly sucks DDD.

This is now my bedtime prayer —- “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, well … PRAISE DA LORD!!!”

Well, your story started out sad … but, it finished on an up note. You’re doing a good thing, a very VERY good thing. Just wanted to give you a word of encouragement. Be proud of yerself, Bumpy!!

The CBC is the paid propaganda voice of our left/progressive killer clown government.
All of our MSM receives millions from the Trudeau govt. They say what they are told to say. And the ‘informed’ idiot eastern bloc votes them in before the west finishes voting.
It is time for Alberta to leave this pretend country.

Yes the CBC and Global, the two biggest propaganda arms of the govt, are partly what drives the slide to the dark side.

But complicate also is the ‘church.’

Hedonism, social club mentality, the accommodation of evil within and out of the church on all issues of society and morals, even to the inviting in, of the moral decay, within the walls of the church. ALL this and more is what is pushing the decline of the west into the cesspools destruction. The ‘People’ have invited it in.

That’s right Brian and again I ask….Where are the men of God?

How do you take their blinders off? How do Canadians begin to understand where this is going? The CBC surely won’t give them a clue. So next it will be OK to kill babies that are a month old or older children because there parents offed themselves and they have no one to care for them? The list of candidates can continue to grow.

In Alberta they put our Pastors in jail (in solitary) for holding services during covid.
They men of God did not back down.
The faithful protested and were arrested, too.
We’re still here with God, still fighting but there are not many of us anymore.
The churches that complied and closed are not houses of God. They are a business.
The good news is that Alberta has had enough and the charges have been dropped against our Pastors. New leadership has ended the mask and lockdown mandates and have stopped cities from issuing anymore of the mandates. The rest of the country is going to hell.

C.A.L. and Brian- You don’t need special papers or a big official building to have proper worship. Gather in your garage or barn, the Amish do it every week. They don’t have pastors per se just elders and they don’t have churches. ANYONE can do this. Do you have a barn?

Haven’t been part of a church for 30 plus years. Personally I go to where the people are, in the streets, hyways and byways. My wife went to a church here for about 7 yrs. I went a few times with and without her.

Long story short, they didn’t want me there. I said very little,
answered questions and chatted some to those that wanted to chat. My wife didn’t believe me until the day the pastor shook hands with her, then turned away from me and walked away. LOL… Then at the start of the covid scam, the church and pastors would mock those not willing to wear a mask or get vax’d. I nice baptist church… lol

So BL… I personally don’t do church. My church is where 2 – 3 are gathered. And those I meet on the streets that need a drink of water.

I suffer from chronic pain from two accidents that fractured three vertebrae and crushed the discs inbetween. Its been 40+ yrs and now add in arthritis at the injury sites. I would not wish chronic pain on my worst enemies… well maybe gates, fauci, soros, bezos, rothchilds… Ok I would wish them pain. But for just regular people, no.

Three of the four seasons cause me great pain and winter can often throw me into a depression. Pain levels go up and its frik’n dark, cold and miserable. eight shades of grey. Suicide by whatever means, whether govt or self inflicted is really selfish and sad for the individual, and family around. I had a gun tucked under my chin on three different occasions and several other times had them out but was interrupted by circumstances. I’m here today not because I was afraid to pull the trigger but long story short, God intervened.

If I had pulled the trigger then I would have missed seeing my kids grow up where two out of three are pretty decent people. I would have missed seeing and having our grandkids to enjoy. Which we just had them for an over-nighter on Sunday. I would have missed some of the great times we’d had with longtime friends from around the world.

It sucks being in pain all the time, which affects you seven ways to sunday on ten different levels. But I’m a bullheaded pain in the arse, FU I’m coming thru so either move aside or get moved aside. I focus not on the pain and whoa is me but on the grands, on helping someone in need, building cbg’s or toys and furniture for the grands. By God’s grace I’ve come this far and will stand in the midst of the field and defend it until I am dead. 2 Samuel 23:11-12

This current govt with castro junior is about as evil as they come and our ‘official’ opposition, like in the US, is worthless and is working WITH these vile pukes. They are still pushing for children to get vax’ed, mask wearing in places deemed medical, optometrists, dentists, doctors etc etc. Its disgusting to hear these dumb fucks state stupid shyte like, I wouldn’t kill myself but I wouldn’t stop someone who wanted to. Its these asswipes that are facilitating the genicide. Worst is… This is just the beginning of sorrows thats coming down the pipe. Buckle up folks, its gonna be a rough ride.

My apologies for the long rant. but I’m really pissed off, with mostly to dumb fucks around me that think sticking their heads in the sand is a viable solution to todays problems. Or like my neighbour the other day. If groceries aren’t in the store he knows a neighbour that has probably lots of food. I told him I knew that guy too… and he also has a few lead injectors with plenty of lead. Probably not going to get a very warm welcome if the SHTF. dumbasses…

It takes a strong person (and probably that comes from your faith) to have that kind of attitude. God bless you, moos. I wish my father-in-law had that kind of attitude. It takes a strong person

NAh… Just like the old joke about which body part was the most important…

Turns out you just have to be an asshole…

Fear is crippling, that is a certainty as you well know.

I gave my wifes mother a lecture, she’ll be 99 in Dec., that she can either live the remaining days whining, miserable and selfish… or with grace, a little poise and interest in grands and great grands etc… She gets to make the choice on how to be remembered… Funny thing is she visibly paused for about ten minutes. She chose to be miserable. oh well.

Its all about choices. You can choose to be miserable, fearful or selfish, whatever. You cannot change a person, you can only change you. If they choose to live in misery when help is available, its their choice. Don’t aid or facilitate them.
If they are mentally ill and cannot rationally make decisions, then thats a different issue.

I hope, you can talk sense into your FIL

The family you choose can be so much better than the family you have blood relations to. I’m dealing with someone in my family who has suffered Narcissistic Personality Disorder since about 1950. I, also, gave her an ultimatum: stop with the gossip and family destruction. She responded by omitting my name from my father’s obituary and keeping me from even knowing where he is buried until 3 months after his interrment. Family can be the most difficult challenge God presents us with. After trying to get though to her for 52 years, I’ve had to leave it in God’s hands.

I’m on an excellent path now, heading to a community which values me simply for my experiences alone. Distant relatives in another nearby country still revere family like God intended. My life is beginning anew… again.

Regarding suicide, I was only close once, back in 1986. A friend helped me put my suicidal thoughts into better perspective. “Why don’t you just ‘kill the day’and sleep off the worst depressive episodes.” It’s worked for me ever since. I, for one, am glad you didn’t pull the trigger, moos.

And yes, the communists and rinos here are all working together to destroy the country from the inside out, like they promised. Drop restrictive requirements on low educated immigrants and introduce euthanasia to the displaced white colonial nazi’s responsible for all the worlds social evils and problems. Doctor Michael DeBakey, the famous heart transplant surgeon who worked in the Houston medical community for many decades, suffered from cataracts toward the end of his career. He refused to let any doctor operate to alleviate his worsening eyesight. He, apparently, didn’t trust other doctors enough to work on his most important sense. {I met Dr. DeBakey in the mid-1980’s and found him to be of the old-school mentality that doctors once had during the days of house-calls.}

Doctor DeBakey truly was an amazing medical genius. Well worth reading about. https://achievement.org/achiever/michael-e-debakey-m-d/

TPTB want the desperate to kill themselves because history shows the desperate usually end up lopping the heads off TPTB when things get really bad.

If every suicide decided to take one or two of TPTB with them when they went, things would likely improve quickly. As things get worse, maybe it will become a trend. I hope so.

My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer May 27, 2022. He also had a seizure disorder and horrific chronic pain. We both said NO to chemo. He went to hospice. Incidentally, as a pure blood, I was only able to spend those last days with him thanks to a vaccine card a friend provided. Every day sweating they would find out. I met him 58 years ago when I was 7 and he was 9. We grew up together and he loved Friday Fail. I would pick out memes and stories, and read them to him, and read the other articles to him as reading or looking at memes gave him seizures. God bless you and Godspeed to your departed husband, Simi Go.

Long relationships such as yours are one of the most unique gifts from God I can point to in our troubled age. I had a relatively long career working offshore for long periods of time away from civilization and creature comforts. The most stable and happy people of all my co-workers out there in those horribly stressful conditions were the ones who had married their childhood sweetheart. Every single time. There was the mad Norwegian and his wife, the nearly-deaf explosives expert and his wife, the ex-minesweeper captain and his wife…. Basically, if they were from the generation before my parents’ generation, the odds of them having a solid relationship with their wife were orders of magnitude larger than the odds of youngsters enjoying the same fidelity and love.

I’m a newbie here, but not to online posting. Thank you for relating your story and taking the time to let us know more about your husband. Just this one post of yours touched me in a very meaningful way. Thank you, again.
