They do things they don’t do on Broadway”

For the third consecutive weekend, the wheels came off and all hell broke loose, especially on Friday night and into Saturday morning.

In all, eight (8) were killed and another 39 were shot and wounded which slightly beats last weekend’s shitshow tally of nine (9) killed and 37 wounded.

“A breakdown of the 47 incidents shows:

5 were shot & killed, 2 stabbed, 1 auto-related

6 in critical or serious condition

38 dudes

9 chicks

26.3 y/o average age

15 teenagers

25 neighborhoods

8 multi-victim incidents

4 shot in the ass

“Not only have the past few weekends been disasters,

April’s 33 homicides far exceeds last April’s 24. Outside of a brutally frigid January, February, March and April have all handily bested their 2013 counterparts. In other words, #CrimeIsDown. Unless something changes and changes real soon, (and what, we have no idea) this summer is going to be a gigantic clusterfuck.

Chicago Honor Student of the Week

This week’s Honor Student of the Week hails from suburban Flossmoor where he enjoys gangbanging, Facebooking with rivals gangs and soon, long stints in prison. Please meet, Justin C. Hamilton: “Justin C. Hamilton, of Flossmoor, is facing two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of 16-year-old Jordan Means and 18-year-old Anthony Bankhead. During a Tuesday bond hearing, prosecutors said Hamilton is a member of the Latin Kings street gang and had been fighting with the victims on Facebook prior to the shooting. After the shooting, family of the teens said the Facebook fight was over a stolen power cord and that both Means and Bankhead knew their killer.” A double homicide over a $10 power cord? Yep, but remember, “The gun violence in this city is the result of lax guns laws. Period.”
