Ferguson – Missing the Point

ferguson-Aug-2014 Militarization

A few people have sent emails justifying the killing of Brown saying they will prove he was dangerous and on drugs. It really is irrelevant. Aside from the fact there is the little Commandment that says thou shalt not kill with no exception if you have a badge, the only justifiable reason to kill someone is in self-defense. Ferguson is a flash-point. Justifying the shooting is irrelevant. This is no longer a race riot, it is being seen worldwide as war waged by military troops pretending to be police and this crosses the line for that same level of force will be used against white protesters when the economy turns down. The goal is to be so harsh and cruel, like in Donetsk, anyone who disagrees better not show their face.

Appachie-Helicopter

Ferguson is a flash-point in the cycle of war. It is becoming the government against the people. Police have been mandated to militarize under 1033. We have the police forces going simply nuts. In Florida, police bought 8 Apache Attack Helicopters for Brevard County. When you have every person armed walking around town, shit happens.

I was in Washington DC and one of these police was walking around at the train station with a bullet-proof vest and a machine-gun. He did not look to be as smart as an average teenager, just mean, nasty, and looking for a fight. The typical school-yard bully type. He gave the impression that if you spit-out hot coffee on you and jumped up suddenly, he would shoot first and ask questions later. There was nothing going on there that day. Just this one power-crazed guy. I have been in countries like that. It is never a safe feeling.

This is not whether Brown was a good guy or bad. This is a flash-point and it is moving beyond racism. This is something that is spreading once again into 2017-2018.

$40 Million Lawsuit Filed in Ferguson

s-BEARCAT-large

Missouri police have been sued for $40 million over actions in Ferguson protests by several people alleging civil rights violations through arrests and police assaults with rubber bullets and tear gas adopting ”militaristic displays of force and weaponry,” and engaged U.S. citizens “as if they were war combatants.”

It will be interesting to say the least for this is the trend in motion – the militaristic police that have taken this to a whole new level. Even the tiny town of Keene, N.H., it was reported that Mayor Kendall Lane whispered to Councilman Mitch Greenwald during a December city council meeting that they were going to get their own tank,.The town is tiny with a population of just 23,000. They have had only two murders since 1999. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security gave them a $285,933 grant to purchase a Bearcat manufactured by LENCO, an eight-ton armored personnel vehicle.

Homeland Security

It is clear. Homeland Security is arming against the people on a grand scale. The definition of “terrorist” is now anyone who disagrees with the government. The plain truth is they have seen the riots in Europe and Thailand watching how people rise up when the economy turns down. They know that is coming in this direction.

What we saw in Ferguson is how the police are now trained and operate no different from a standing army. They are no longer “civil” in nature. Homeland Security has also militarized the nation and proof this is not a black or white issue as it was in the 1960s, is the simple fact that they are militarizing even small all white towns.

Mr. Armstrong is 100% correct.

We, the people, have allowed the conversation to (once again) be controlled by our overlords instead of seeing reality.

This is NOT a Black vs. White issue.

This is NOT a Haves vs. Havenots

or a Producer vs. Welfare

It IS an US vs. Them. Us are the non-government/elite masses and them are anyone that follows their agendas.

But, once again, just like with every other “hot button” issue, we let them make it something it is not, thus controlling the debate, and the outcome.

Here is the outcome: We are fucked, they are not as long as their supply lines and pensions keep flowing.

Thanks for posting this Admin, I read it the other day and thought it good.

It’s amazing how many people say it’s not a racial thing but then it turns into a racial thing. Not some of the time but all of the time.Eyes wide shut for most .

Of course it’s racial. But in the Ferguson case it may have also been about survival. Maybe the cop was on the verge of unconsciousness…maybe he feared blacking out and then dying at the hands of the perpetrator…maybe he emptied his magazine out of desperation. Maybe…

Regardless, it’s becoming situation normal for cops to empty their guns like it’s a video game when one or two competently placed rounds would have done the trick. Maybe it’s due to the new generation of cops having minds calibrated by shoot em’ up television and movies…maybe the video mentality has taken over. Maybe…

But what isn’t a maybe is the militarization of the police. When a society fears and needs protection from it’s sworn protectors…it’s a sign the end game is in play.

A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span.[a] 5 He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels[b]; 6 on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. 7 His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels.[c] His shield bearer went ahead of him.

20 Early in the morning David left the flock in the care of a shepherd, loaded up and set out, as Jesse had directed. He reached the camp as the army was going out to its battle positions, shouting the war cry. 21 Israel and the Philistines were drawing up their lines facing each other. 22 David left his things with the keeper of supplies, ran to the battle lines and asked his brothers how they were. 23 As he was talking with them, Goliath, the Philistine champion from Gath, stepped out from his lines and shouted his usual defiance, and David heard it. 24 Whenever the Israelites saw the man, they all fled from him in great fear.

25 Now the Israelites had been saying, “Do you see how this man keeps coming out? He comes out to defy Israel. The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him. He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his family from taxes in Israel.”

26 David asked the men standing near him,… Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

40 Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.

41 Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. 42 He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. 43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 “Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!”

45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.

50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

51 David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine’s sword and drew it from the sheath. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.

“A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span …” —– Mr Chen

Do you realize “six cubits and a span” is almost TEN FEET tall? ( That’s using the standard measurement of 18 inches for one cubit ….. some scholars put a cubit at 20 or more inches, which would make Goliath over 11 feet tall.)

Do you realize the Guinness World Record has Robert Wadlow as the tallest man ever at 8 feet 11 inches. And he had SERIOUS physical issues; fatigue and muscle weakness, impaired vision, back pain, pain and limited mobility in all his joints, couldn’t walk without a cane. ….. this true giant hardly qualifies as a warrior.

Do you realize the average height of people in this region in that era was a little over 5 feet?

Do you realize there is no archeological evidence anywhere ever of 10′ tall humans?

.
Knowing this …. do you believe the Goliath story is real, or myth?

18 inches x 6 = 9 feet. a cubit is said to be the length of a forearm, if the peeps were at most 5 feet, the forearm is then shorter, say, 12 inches, the giant would be 6 feet tall. but let’s say he was 7.5 feet, is that out of the realm of possibility?

anyway, enough with the niggling over details, scheisse, big mike got it in the head after taunting the officer and he fell face down, that’s all i meant besides the subliminal message.

Here are the archaeological and historical facts supporting the truth of God’s Word.

http://www.bibleistrue.com/qna/pqna32.htm

There isn’t a whole lot of evidence of a race of giants, at least not in the mainstream, for what it’s worth. Once again, belief requires faith. Either you have it, or you don’t.

It’s also just as easy to get faith,

“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 ESV)

The word saved, in the verse, is the greek work sotheses, which means to be made whole.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if I may make a historical point. I’ve been reading my history lately, focusing on the Vietnam War. My attention has been riveted on the tragic A Bright Shining Lie, by Neil Sheehan. It’s not just the story of John Paul Vann, but the story of how we got and fought the war and how much human misery and suffering it caused.

One of the little-known aspects of the war was the system of village militia in the early Diem regime days of the war. The government maintained a small armed militia force, each with their own little armed compound, in each village. There were also little French-built guardposts along the roads. These outposts and units were very small and incapable of protecting themselves from a determined attack, but the Diem regime believed they needed to be maintained to “show the flag,” so to speak. As the Americans got into the war, they showered US-made weapons on Vietnam like Manna from Heaven. These little militia groups were originally armed with cheap, dropped-once-and-never-fired French bolt action rifles. Against the better judgement of some folks, the US government poured weapons into these militias.

The Vietcong would then attack and kill the militias and sack their compounds. Within a period of several years, the Vietcong entirely re-armed themselves with captured US weapons, including Thompson subguns, M1 Carbines, M1 Garands, and other toys. Essentially, everything we gave the Vietnamese ended up being used against us by the Vietnamese.

Now, I’m just thinking theoretically, but I can’t help seeing a parallel. The US government is, once again, showering weapons on another nation (itself) and the paramilitary forces of that nation, not all of whom are reliable, dependable, efficient, or even on the same side (ever heard of Oath Keepers?).

If and when push comes to shove, how many of these wonder weapons will be available for use against the people? I wonder how many people will either liberate or destroy these locally-stored arms and vehicles? I just heard this weekend Georgia has been cut off due to flagrant violations and losses among their paramilitary forces, so it’s sort of already started. It isn’t as if each paramilitary installation is an impenetrable fortress and all those tanks and APCs are parked in lots somewhere.

There may be a day when people either raid the police for their wonder weapons or the police divert those weapons for other uses, making the chances of a civil war much, much more likely. History seems to show the free flow of weapons does not reduce conflict, so is there an end goal to make things more violent, rather than less?

Also, I can’t help adding-If the DoD can afford to dump all its weapons on police departments, can we cut defense spending? Seems like the DoD just doesn’t need all the shit we bought it, so maybe they can afford to consume a little less.

By the way, does anyone remember when Albania fell? As soon as the government collapsed, people turned out and raided the government arsenals, arming themselves with countless SKS rifles, AK47s, RPGs, mortars, machine guns, grenades, and God knows what else.
