More Say Guns Do More to Protect Than Put People at Risk

Two Years After Newtown, A Shift in Favor of Gun RightsFor the first time in more than two decades of Pew Research Center surveys, there is more support for gun rights than gun control. Currently, 52% say it is more important to protect the right of Americans to own guns, while 46% say it is more important to control gun ownership.
Support for gun rights has edged up from earlier this year, and marks a substantial shift in attitudes since shortly after the Newtown school shootings, which occurred two years ago this Sunday.
The balance of opinion favored gun control in the immediate aftermath of the Newtown tragedy in December 2012, and again a month later. Since January 2013, support for gun rights has increased seven percentage points – from 45% to 52% — while the share prioritizing gun control has fallen five points (from 51% to 46%).
While the partisan divide on the question remains as wide as ever, the increasing support for gun rights spans across a wide swath of demographics. Compared with last January, support for gun rights increased by 6 points among Republicans and Democrats, 7 points among independents, 8 points among whites and 10 points among African Americans.
Good ,just on Drudge report .white people will be a minority by 2044 .racial attacks on whites will increase as the white population decreases. All you bleeding heart white people are going to be surrounded by people of so called color that hate your guts. Better have lots of guns and ammo.

When Middle Class America (largely Caucasian) sees its present revealed as a debt-fueled illusion and its future crumbles under an avalanche of politician-enabled dependency and welfare wealth redistribution, the tolerance for the open immigration and scapegoating of the inner city’s social sewer on (middle American) Caucasians will evaporate, too.
Hell hath no fury like a bunch of relatively intelligent people who suddenly wake up and realize they’ve been had, their daughters have been sold into sexual servitude and their property is seen as fair game.
Caucasians a minority in North America in 2044. I’m doubting it. Some REALLY BAD $h-t is going to go down between now and then, with a whole lot of folks getting un-invited to the party.
If they made all guns illegal, the price would go down and they would be easier to get.
