The Lesson for the World Coming from Greece

Greece-Pensioner

The mainstream news is painting the Greeks as the bad guys, and the Troika as the savior of Europe. Quite frankly, it is really disgusting. Pictures of an elderly Greek pensioner have gone viral, depicting what the Troika is deliberately doing to the Greek people by punishing them for their own failed design of the euro in a system that is just economically unsustainable.

The heartbreaking photographs circulating are of 77-year-old retiree, Giorgos Chatzifotiadis, after he collapsed on the ground openly in tears, driven to despair, outside a Greek bank with his savings book and identity card strewn next to him on the ground. This illustrates the horror the Troika is deliberately inflicting upon the Greek population.

This image illustrates the core of the issue: ordinary Greeks tormented by EU politicians who pretend to care about people. This is not a Greek debt crisis, this is a Euro Crisis and they refuse to admit that what they designed was solely for the takeover of Europe at the cost of the future of everyone, from pensioners to the youth.

Greece-Pensioner-2

Chatzifotiadis queued up at three banks in Greece’s second city of Thessaloniki on Friday in the hope of withdrawing pensions on behalf of him and his wife. When he went to a fourth bank, he was told he could not withdraw his 120 euros ($180); the ordeal simply became too much and he fell down in tears in total desperation. His comments were simply that he “cannot stand to see my country in this distress”. He continued to say, “That’s why I feel so beaten, more than for my own personal problems.”

This is just the tip of the iceberg. We are facing terrible times ahead because socialism is completely collapsing. Government employees have lined their pockets, which is precisely the endgame and how Rome collapsed. It was not the barbarians at the gate. It was that the Roman army was not paid and they began hailing their various generals as emperor and the attacked cities who did not support their choice. Only after weakening themselves, then the barbarians came in for easy pickings. If Russia really wants to take Europe, all they have to do is be patient. They will self-destruct for the Troika cannot see any change in thinking for that means they must admit that they were wrong from the outset.

Keep in mind: do not keep all of your money in one place. Keep a stock of cash outside the bank. Cash is recognizable for daily transactions, for now.

But this couldn’t happen in the U.S. Nobody talks about our debt. So it will go away.

The sonofabitch deserves it. He probably got a full pension at 55 and never worked again. He probably never even worked ever because most Greeks are government employees. He should have saved his money instead of wasting it. Now he cries like a little bitch and wants the world to feel sorry for him. I won’t take the bait. He made his bed now he must lie in it. Compassion is for pussies.

I must be in the minority because bank runs are an exceptional event in economic history. Even the best prepared will be affected. This isn’t even the worst part yet. The following deflationary cycle is on its way. The banks are intentionally punishing an entire nation for the faults of past politicians who over promised to get elected. Those who voted conservatively, the elderly too old to start over, the middle-age who are caring for teenagers/young adults and parents, the youth who can’t afford to be adults.

If the people of Greece are to blame, then so are the people of each and every country guys like Perkins sold down the line in his ‘confessions of an economic hitman’. Yeah, yeah, the people took the deal – but since they always take the deal, you have to question those offering the deal.

So Llpoh, I hear what you’re saying and don’t entirely disagree with you – But…and you knew there had to be a but, in absolute terms you’re sort of saying the central bankers didn’t cross a line and are in the right. But I know you aren’t saying that……the huge benefits, pay, corruption, etc., its all there for sure. But the Germans work the least of any European country – including the white flag wavers over in France – so I’d say the mercantilist theme is alive and well considering the BIS began in Germany or Austria in the mid-1600’s. Talk about long term planning.

They should’ve just all done what we did, and win the war and print money, export our inflation, and live beyond our means for many decades. Simple!

I’ve read that the Greeks spend 18% of their GDP on pensions. Here in the US it’s 5%.

Fuck that old bastard, he just voted for governments that stole (borrowed with the knowledge that they would never pay it back) money from the EU bailouts.

They shouldn’t give Greece a dime. They will never repay their debts.

A human Socialist canary in Greece who lived well off the printed fiat money (maybe 50 years) that has now dried up there first because Greece was the smallest and fattest member of the pack of profligate countries and got eaten first. How many months to go until the bankster and creditor predators (aided by our POTUS, SCOTUS and Congress) go after the USA and his reality becomes the reality for 200,000,000 or more Americans? We need to return jobs back to mining, manufacturing, and agriculture and respect to God and the Constitution. .

Again, I’m not defending Greece – but like…..96% or some shit of the ‘bailout’ money went to the banks who lent Greece money. Very, very little of it made it to ‘the people’. So its the same deal-i-o, losses somewhere get transferred to the people and the profits to the bankers. Thats the issue, fuck — we’ve got millions and millions more scamming the system here. Greece’s financials were pretty much the same as many of the other EU nations.

Now, among other things, they want the oil/gas reserves just off the coast of Greece…….do you see how these fuckers play? Meanwhile they get you to hate the people of Greece over easy pensions and shit that while real, fade quickly into the larger narrative. Just sayin.

You say you don’t want to disagree with me, but then you do it anyway. You two-faced white boy who speaks with forked tongue. How about you blow my giant red totem pole? The central banks loaned the money and they have the right to be paid back! Or, do you go to a bank and get a loan and then decide you don’t want to pay it? If so, I hope you live in poverty for the rest of your sorry life.

Hey, the EU does not have to loan Greece money. NO SIR, it is not God’s law. They do not have to forgive debt. Go down to the bank and ask for loan forgiveness and special interest rates with no collateral and see what happens.

Greece wants to borrow and stay in the EU – well, here are the conditions. Don’t like them, fuck off.

Fact is, Greece just wants more dat free shit. Otherwise they would fuck off.

Star – they do jot want to realize. They think their no vote means more free shit.

Dutchman – you are correct. The Greek govt spends 65% of Greece’s GDP. The rest of the developed world spends like 25%. Those cunts are well and truly neck deep in free shit. Until they pull the plug on that, nothing positive will result.

Tommy – do not be a dolt.

Greece borrowed billions and billions from, largely, private banks, which they then spent on free shit – pensions, government wages, etc.

Then, the Greeks couldn’t pay it back. The private banks went “Uh-oh, that is not good. If they do not pay us back, we are bankrupt”. The ECB, etc., then effectively bought the loans the private banks had made. In other words, the loans went from private banks to the ECB, and to the countries, like Germany and France, and to the IMF, instead, so as to save the private banks.

When the shift happened, the Troika then went to Greece and said, “OK you deadbeats, here is the d eal – you want to roll over this debt, you are gonna have to cut out a lot of the free shit, and increase taxes”. Greece said, sure, will do, then of course, being Greeks they didn’t.

So now the Troika is saying, “Listen here you deadbeat Greek cunts – you gotta pay the money back – or else we let you go bankrupt. Cut your fucking pensions and quit letting you people retire at 55 when the folks that hold your notes retire at 69. And do it now. And do not give me any shit about how you are going to do better by increasing taxes more, because you fuckers do not collect any taxes. So you are going to have to cut spending”.

And Greece begins screaming like stuck pigs – you see, they like retiring at 55, they like all their free shit, and Goddamnit it, we are Greeks, and Greeks do not pay no fucking taxes or pay our debt.

And that is where we are at the moment. although there are signs the Greeks are about to roll over, because, well, they are between a rock and a hard-place.

But the shit about the Greeks did not get the money is total horseshit – they got the fucking money, andthey spent the fucking money giving out free shit. What has changed is who holds the fucking notes. It was private banks, and now it is the Troika.

And the Troika cannot play softball, because of, well, Portugal, Spain, Italy and France, who will immediately want to play some of that softball, too, if Greece gets to play.

So please, get a fucking clue before you spout off.

“We’re very important,” Blankfein is quoted as saying in The Times of London. “We help companies to grow by helping them to raise capital. Companies that grow create wealth. This, in turn, allows people to have jobs that create more growth and more wealth. It’s a virtuous cycle.”

He goes on to admit to being the focus of public outrage–“I know I could slit my wrists and people would cheer”–but then blows the attempt to reconciliation by saying he is “doing God’s work.”

Right on,eh Llpoh, wake the fuck up – at the end of the ponzi, the evil of the plan is exposed to anyone who wants to see it.

Nigel Farage Destroys EU Group-Think: “There’s A New Berlin Wall… And It’s Called The Euro”
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/09/2015 – 08:21

Standing before the European Parliament yesterday, it took Nigel Farage just four minutes to completely destroy every argument supporting the Eurozone. As Nigel explains in the video below, right from the start, the system was never intended to help the Greek people. Greece entering the euro was great for Goldman Sachs. But terrible for Greeks. It chained the country to a system in which it didn’t belong.

The Greek people are full of shit, I said as much – retiring at 55? That’s bullshit. The litany of occupations deemed ‘high risk’ entitling them to more pay, benefits, etc…..more bullshit. My issue with retard is that he can’t have a reasonable exchange as I made it clear there are/is more than one issue at play. Retard goes full retard with his usual ad hominem attack – fine, whatever – but cannot see the forest through the fucking trees. Retard is so fucking arrogant, if it hasn’t been his life’s experience, its shit. No discussion. Round peg, round hole.

Its a pretty dynamic world, myopic retards will likely have a tough go of it. Retard looks at every non-round peg like a hammer looks at a nail. Its tiring, so I thought it was time to call bullshit. When retard returns, I’m sure it’ll be with the full fury of an old aging fuck who claims anything he says as the gospel truth and everything as bullshit. Should be epic. Like that’s never been done before here. Fuck, this is the shitstorm capital of the internet. I’m sure retard is out learning how fucked he is in Aussieland or maybe wrapping things up with his roos’. Because I didn’t proclaim his opinion is the only one. I’m an X’er, I’m used to be kicked around and disregarded, his old boomer ego needs lots of adoration, which is why he’ll attack this like a fat kid eating ice cream.

Do you get how even if your paying your bills and living within your means you’re still living beyond your means in the little game of life the central bankers have cooked up? Cause I don’t think you do. But lets hear it, start with an attack on me if it helps bitch.

As Martin Armstrong adds,
