After 30 years of stumping for it, the New York Times belatedly develops some concerns about the consequences of mass migration:
They arrived in an unceasing stream, 10,000 a day at the height, as many as a million migrants heading for Europe this year, pushing infants in strollers and elderly parents in wheelchairs, carrying children on their shoulders and life savings in their socks. They came in search of a new life, but in many ways they were the heralds of a new age.
There are more displaced people and refugees now than at any other time in recorded history — 60 million in all — and they are on the march in numbers not seen since World War II. They are coming not just from Syria, but from an array of countries and regions, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, even Haiti, as well as any of a dozen or so nations in sub-Saharan and North Africa. They are unofficial ambassadors of failed states, unending wars, intractable conflicts.
The most striking thing about the current migration crisis, however, is how much bigger it could still get….
Nor is it only the Middle East and North Africa that European leaders need to consider. The Gallup Poll, based on data compiled from more than 450,000 interviews in 151 nations from 2009 to 2011, found that in Nigeria, which already has double the population of Germany, 40 percent of people would emigrate to the West if they could. And the lesson of 2015 — for them and much of the world — is that they can.

While the flow of migrants to Europe this year already represents the biggest influx from outside the Continent in modern history, many experts warn that the mass movement may continue and even increase — possibly for years to come.
At least we know what the cause of World War III will be. Don’t ever forget who was responsible: the anti-nationalists who have championed open borders and multiculturalism. They are responsible. The bloodshed will be on their hands.
It’s time to start making a list, complete with quotes and links, of those on the Left and Right who have championed immigration and open borders. The future needs to know who were the destroyers of Western Civilization, so they will recognize the same arguments being made next time. If you’ve got a candidate, post it here.

Why not Sharia?
No -> democracy; religious freedom; freedom of association; freedom of the press; equality of rights or protection under the law.
Insulting Islam (which is very easy to do) is blasphemy which is punishable by imprisonment, fines, flogging, hanging, amputation or beheading.
Tax is imposed upon non-Islamic religions, the members of which are not granted equal rights with Muslims.
Leaving Islam is Apostasy, and is punishable by death.
Homosexuality is illegal.
Women must cover, as they are tempters of men into the ways of Shatan (Satan).
No protection for women against domestic violence.
A husband may beat his wife with no thicker than a quarter inch cane.
A woman’s inheritance is not equal to a man’s.
A raped woman must have her good character attested to by four men of substance in order to seek justice against her rapist.
A rapist may escape punishment by marrying his victim.
Etc.
But actually, much of this is probably better than the cultural cesspool into which the West has descended!
If the rest of the country marches into gulag and gas chamber, is it relevant to your life?
Yes, they’ll drag the rest of us into the inferno with them.
No, the masses of people have always been and always will be complete morons. Survivors are survivors because they separate from the masses of morons, not because of the masses of morons.
For me, I think both answers are correct. Most people are complete morons, and I find their presence nauseating. Unfortunately, it takes a vast village of village idiots to make the world as we know it turn. Those same idiots often work in capacities that, way down the market-product food chain, I still depend upon for the standard of living to which I’ve become accustomed.
So we’re stuck with the morons.
What’s the answer? Do all in your power to see that your kids grow up to have kids with people who are among the smartest, most decent people they’ve ever met.

I did my part; my wife is quite smart, very feminine and yet lacking in the catty bullshit that afflicts most females. Our three sons (above the 2.1 kids/woman baseline to keep the Caucasians from dying out) are borderline brilliant. They each married girls who by all appearances are very bright. They’re on their way to each hitting the 2.1+ also. Yay, TEAM!

Now then, I didn’t like this Mark Dice video. Interviewees were bikini-clad California beach bimbos and one young clueless dude who tried to sound smart. Not a well-rounded demographic. But if he’s trying to point out the stupidity of some Americans, he succeeded.
