Stucky Q.O.T.D. — Intervention

Yesterday, my dad crossed into Free Shitter territory.

He’s done this just ONCE before in his entire life.  He was unemployed once, many decades ago, and collected unemployment (but, not food stamps) for, at most, two months.  I’m also not including Social Security … something he did not start collecting until he turned 80 … after working for 50+ years.

But, he’s so embarrassed always asking me for rides … even though I don’t mind one little bit.  (My libtard seester rarely helps with rides.) So, he asked me to take him to the Senior Center in town to see what they have to offer.  Well …. it turns out that they have all kinds of  FREE transportation; twice a week scheduled trips to the grocery store, aaaaand if you give then 48 hours notice they’ll drive you anywhere — the bank, getting a haircut, even going to the movies!!  And, there is zero notification required if he needs to go to the pharmacy or a doctor’s appointment.  He was sooooooo HAPPY!

This is the vehicle they have;

But, then something truly turrible happened. Just, turrible!  Brace yourselves folks, or just look away and stop reading right this very second.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you.  He then asked — “What else do you have that’s free?”  Aaaaarrghhh!  My daddy, he crossed the Rubicon!  Death is knocking at the door. MY death. Oh daddy-o, daddy-o, what hast thou done??  But, I kept silent.

So, I have two questions. Answer one, or both, please.

1)– Should I perform an Intervention?  Bitch slap him back into his life-long reality of not taking Free Shit? Or, should I resign myself to the New Reality, and buy him this shirt for Christmas?

2)— Do you have an intervention story … of any kind?

THANK YEEW.

Stuck

Is the senior center solely funded by the government? Maybe the people providing the rides are volunteers.

Your dad is doing his part to accelerate the collapse. The more free shit given out pushes us closer to the tipping point. He’s doing us all a favor.

Look at it this way, If white folks who are STILL the vast majority of the population started playing the free shit system at the level blacks have achieved, the balance of power in the FSA would shift. Whites would out demand products/services and blacks would be left in a dust cloud of hopelessness. After we break the system for all eternity, blacks would have to become producers as there would be no safety net of free shit to fall back on . HUNGER is a powerful motivator so I think blacks would get off their ass and work AND illegals would leave this country when the hand outs stop win/win.

LET’S BUST THIS SYSTEM WIDE OPEN- SIGN YOUR DAD UP FOR EVERYTHING !!!!!!

I am torn between @flash’s response that that of @3blindmice.

@Stuck – Your Dad is only asking for a pittance of what he’s paid in over the years. I say let him go for all the Free Shit and Speed the Collapse, like Admin said.

Unemployment (valid claims for it while actually seeing new employment) and SS aren’t really in the FS category.

They’re paid for by taxes on the workers wages and are, in effect, paid for as (forced participation) insurance by the worker.

Food stamps and all that other free stuff that are paid for by someone other than the recipients however …………

Do nothing. It will all find it’s resting place eventually. The system is too far gone. “That which can not go on forever won’t.”

Stuck,

I look at it this way. I’m a gen x’er and likely will not collect old age pension of any kind. In fact if I had my way anyone under 60 or so in good old Canuklestan would get a big fat notice in the mail telling them that in order to relieve the debt burden of future generations aka my kids and grand kids – they will no longer be the beneficiaries of any future payments.

However – that does not mean we should’t try and live by the principles of grace and mercy. Approach your dad with both in your heart and the answer to your question will become apparent. Our generation needs to suck it up and do the right thing. This means honouring mom and dad – taking care of them and letting the system play itself out while rejecting the same treatment/benefits for ourselves and finding a new path.

Just my humble opinion.

stucky- at this point, it doesn’t really matter. We are too far gone. Its all going to come crashing down anyway, with or without his free rides. Your dad is over 80 right? might as well enjoy it while it lasts. Look at it this way, the general of the free shit army, warren buffet, corporate welfare, and the leeches of the MIC/security industry are sucking down over a trillion a year from us. Getting rid of shit like driving old people around for free would barely register as a drop in the bucket. Bringing any of this up will change nothing. I deal with the same thing with my grandparents, complaining that they aren’t getting a COLA raise in their SS payments this year. They are pretty well off, and won’t suffer from it in the least, yet still complain ,and are part of the generation that will get orders of magnitude more in pay outs than they ever paid in, but I keep my mouth shut. They won’t get it, and it will just upset them. Id just let it slide.

Has anyone here ever seen a black man expressing reservations about taking his dad to sign up for free shit???

There are black people belly laughing reading this thread at this very moment. The “Great Society” is lop-sided, even it up.

@ Stucky…for the love of Odin take the free shit! Drink it up, and ask for seconds. Ask them what free shit they have for you, as well.

My Mom had Alzheimer’s for 16 years. When my Dad, a career army pensioner, couldn’t afford the home care and his own health was failing, and when it was costing me $20K a year for it and I couldn’t be at home to help because I was on the road working, my Mom went on Title 19. This was not what we wanted, but it was what had to be. My brothers were totally useless on this score, offering neither time nor money to help their own Mother, but that’s another story.

So my Mom went to a nursing home, a nice one, in CT near where we lived. The cost in those days was about $9K a month. The state paid for it all. But they took my parent’s house, about half of the bank accounts, and left my Dad, who served his country in WWII and Korea in the Infantry, and put in a total of 32 years of service, with his pension and SS…..Fine, fair enough.

In that nursing home were some niggers and latinos who were on Title 19 as well. Mostly old women. I visited my Mom every time I was home and got in good with the staff. I would bring the ladies cookies from time to time, showed an interest in them as people and generally tried to make them feel a little like family friends because, well that’s obvious why I did it. They took care of my Mom every day.

In that nursing home were some niggers and latinos who were on Title 19 as well. Mostly old women. The niggers were the most demanding and arrogant assholes imaginable, who used to love bragging on how they never worked a day in their lives and were living there with ‘da whi’ folks’. They would talk like that amongst themselves loud enough for us ‘sneaky-ass crackers’ to hear. In case some of you aren’t aware of this, niggers really like to flaunt their nigger attitude in front of White people. In my travels for work, for example, nigger workers I hired would invariably start a ‘causal’ conversation among themselves about the blond girl they fucked the night before. They do this because they know it pisses White’s off and it’s a passive/aggressive way to get your goat. It’s usually bullshit, but they get the point across that they hate your guts. This is the same reason they walk so slowly in front of your car at intersections when you have the light, and when they dilly-dally in front of you in line at fast food places. It’s to piss you off. Remember people, diversity is our strength.

So all these useless niggers, who never did anything in this world except shitting out a dozen illegitimate whelps, felons and whores, get the same treatment as my Mother, an honorable woman who worked, donated time at church and was a Lady……AND whose husband had to give up most of what they managed to save in a lifetime of work and service to provide for her care.

And the niggers laugh about it. Cradle to grave babysitting, paid for by the dumb White mofo’s.

So Stucky, you and your Dad grab all the free shit you can and help burn this place down.

When you are 67 and over, you are no longer able to pull a plow and need some good pasture to just stay on your feet. Some of us worked and earned that pasture; no taxes to support welfare and public “education” should force us to sell. As for the FSA, they have lived off of my labor for over 70 years, hate my guts and want to take all I have left. They should not now still have a higher free standard of living. As for getting more SS than I paid for, BS. I paid in $110,000 and my employers paid in $110,000 so if I make it to 80, I’d seem to break even but that doesn’t consider that my $220,000 is really worth about $500,000 in today’s money when inflation is considered. Your dad earned his oats and a good son would help him collect his due without any regrets.

For Christmas, hire one of those people who specializes in getting free shitters the maximum of EVERY benefit possible. Do this for both mom and dad. The faster people burn through the free shit the faster this bullshit ends and we can get on with collapse!

He deserves to get whatever the fuck he can. End of story. Hell, I have neighbors that age who aren’t on Medicare and instead use their pension plan healthcare. Let him have their share.

A bunch of us are going to be in deep shit when they start axing SS and Medicare, and it’s coming sooner than we know or can believe.

Death is knocking at the door. –Stuck

Warn him that old folks carry a lot of diseases. Nursing homes have a revolving door for a reason, old folks succumb to powerful bugs – superbugs – that have bred in those communities for ages.

There was an article that said whites are dying at a faster rate than colorized people, I surmise that browns and blacks don’t have the resources to go live in an old folks home and so they live longer. Just a guess.

This is a topic I’m very, very careful about. We often complain here about all the freeloaders that are bankrupting society. If we become one of them, we can point the finger and rationalize it by saying other people do it worse. There is a very slippery slope to that attitude. Where does it end, and when do we become part of the problem we often lament?

On the other hand there are two approaches I would deem acceptable.

1) Getting back only what you put in. Sit down and figure out all of the taxes you’ve paid over the years, and only collect an amount of free benefits below your outlay. This way you actually get use of the funds which were taken from you, and often used for things you would not otherwise consent to.

2) Collecting as much benefits as possible to make kicking the can down the road no longer a viable strategy. If you take this approach though, I don’t see how you could criticize others jumping on the FSA. The other problem with this, is it will make becoming a productive member of society more difficult when it’s time to rebuild.
