In the wake of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris, police arrested seven suspects in the Molenbeek district of Brussels. According to data compiled by RFE/RL, Belgium has contributed the most fighters to the so-called Islamic State of any EU nation on a per capita basis. RFE/RL estimate that there are 40 fighters per million Belgian inhabitants present in Syria and Iraq. Jordan, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia are the top three nations worldwide for supplying the so-called Islamic State with foreign fighters, contributing 315, 280 and 107 per million people respectively.

In the aftermath of last night’s warning of an “imminent” terror threat in Brussels when OCAM Crisis Center and the government raised the country’s terror alert to the highest level, today the escalation continues and the Belgian capital looks like not only a ghost town but something out of a Call of Duty warzone after authorities deployed special forces, and APCs, shut the metro, locked down shopping centers, closed sporting events, and warned the public to avoid crowds, train stations, airports and commercial districts because of a “serious and imminent” threat of an attack.
As Reuters reports, a week after the Paris attacks carried out by Islamic State militants, of whom one suspect from Brussels is at large and said by authorities to be highly dangerous, Brussels was placed on the top level “four” in the government’s threat scale after a meeting of top ministers, police and security services.
“The advice for the population is to avoid places where a lot of people come together like shopping centers, concerts, events or public transport stations wherever possible,” a spokesman for the government’s crisis center said.

“You see, the “naming” neuroscience PSYOP includes what you can’t name AND what you must name. I can’t say Islamist, but I can say “terrorist.” The word “terrorist” cuts away all the meaning that would allow YOU to make an informed choice were I to use the accurate label “Islamist.” It would be like renaming “carrot cake” “desert.” Yes, carrot cake is a desert but so is chocolate cake, ice cream, oatmeal cookies, etc. Get the point?
The Paris killers were Islamists, NOT terrorists. It was Islam that motivated them, taught them, ordered them and made their desire to kill more likely. To make matters worse, IF you dare to use the correct word, “Islamists” to name the Paris killers, YOU will be labeled an “Islamophobe.” It would be so over the top completely insane IF it were not the TRUTH. The late Christopher Hitchens was reputed to have said this about the word, “Islamophobe:” “A word created by fascists, used by cowards to manipulate morons.”

I’m thinking that the number of “fighters” that actually went to the ME to fight represents only a small portion of like minded Muslims that stayed home and are still in Belgium (and the other countries listed).
Which means, IMO, that Belgium may be facing a real Islamic terrorist threat in the near future and may be the first European nation to fall to direct Islamic rule as a result.
But maybe I’m wrong, I’m just a run of the mill guy with no intel experience.
