Rush Limbaugh: ‘I Really Like’ Marco Rubio

“I don’t see Marco Rubio as anything other than a legitimate, full-throated conservative,” Limbaugh continued, “Nobody’s pure, and nobody is ever free of making mistakes.”

“Marco Rubio I really like. I like

,” Limbaugh said. “There are any number of people in this campaign, two or three people, if they win, I’d be happy.”

I think, we are less screwed with Bernie, he would be a ineffective president even if there were a snowballs chance in hell he would win the election or even receive the nomination from dems, heck I bet when Trump backs out he may join the dems.

Hilary will be just like obama, a patsy. So bank on Hilary because the banks love her.

The Washington Post ran this today:

“In all, donors from Wall Street and other financial-services firms have given $44.1 million to support Hillary Clinton’s campaigns and allied super PACs, compared with $39.7 million in backing that former president Bill Clinton received from the industry, according to campaign-finance records dating back to 1974.”

Inflation adjusted, Bill received the equivalent of $60 million in today’s dollar….. damn.

An elderly man had a massive stroke and the family drove him down to the emergency room. After a while, the ER doctor appeared wearing a long face.

“I’m afraid Grandpa is brain dead, but his heart is still beating.”
“Oh, dear God,” cried his wife, “We’ve never had a liberal in the family before!”

Card,

IMO, Bernie would be likely to die in office and leave us to deal with his VP as the new President. He’s just plain too old to handle that stress for very long (unless he’s a pampered figurehead for some other power that gets dragged out and put on display every so often to promote its agenda).

Might be better to keep an eye on who the most likely for that position is than Bernie himself.

Pretty much the same for Hillary if she makes it that far.

Trump is the only real chance for change but the entire world establishment is standing against him with everything they have (which makes me like him more) and that reduces his chances of being nominated significantly.

I’m not voting for Sanders because of his Zionist ties, cuckolding to Hillarity and his stupid gun flip flopping for votes.
However, if taxpayers’ money is being given out, I’d rather see it go to the people, instead of banks, corporations and the M-I complex.

Bernie was never meant to be a real presidential candidate, period. Somehow the talk of free shit has lured in the sheeple masses and his popularity has risen even beyond Harpy in some states. A regular pied piper with the entranced in tow behind him salivating at the prospect of MOAR.

Bea,

I think Bernie thinks he’s a real candidate. Card’s correct that if Bernie could win the presidency, congress would just say no too everything. On the remote chance that Trump could win the presidency, I think he could extract some things from Congress because I see him as willing to shut the government down until he gets his way. Zero fucks given. There’s about 90% chance that Rubio or Hillary will be elected and I don’t see any difference between those two.

Once again you’re yelling in the wrong direction and against your own interests. Ask yourself this question: Why do the major oil companies get paid a subsidy from the Fedgov? Why do consumers continue to get ripped off by the major health insurers? Why can’t we audit the Pentagon?

If you have no answer, then vote for Bernie, because with ANY of the other candidates the charade into the taxpayer’s pocketbooks will continue.

That the people stopped believing in family, thrift, education, and hard wrk s not their fault?
That the people embraced debt like it was the new messiah is not their fault?
That people elected a series of shitbags at all levels is not thir fault?
That people bought overseas shit, thus aiding our economic enemies, is not their fault?
That people allowed all of these foreign “wars” is not their fault?

Are some damn personal responsibility.

You think you have woken up? Fuck no. You are still asleep, if you can’t see that it is our fault, and we deserve everything that is coming.

We let this shit happen. Maybe not individually each of us, specially n TBP, but the collective we.

Sure, there are evil motherfuckers taking advantage of the situation, and manipulating the population for their own benefit. They deserve to be eradicated.

But to say it is not our fault and no one deserves this shit? Damn right we do. It could not have happened without our acquiescence. We are not nice to, collectively.

And by the sound of it, you are Gutierrez than many around here because you admit to just now waking up.

Take the time to read (the tumbleweed’s) 3:03 pm post in the Bern thread from yesterday. He does a smashing job of explaining Bernie’s purpose in this election. Bernie thinks he is a candidate, yes…..but he knows he is not to be the winner.

@Llpoh,

what a load of crap! Indeed.

“You think you have woken up? Fuck no. You are still asleep, if you can’t see that it is our fault, and we deserve everything that is coming.”

No, I do not think it is “our” fault. A global agenda that most people do not

even realize exists? “We” were going to single handidly/collectively throw

the bums out or what? Elections are rigged, candidates are selected. I was a

kid when NAFTA was passed. Maybe so were you? All the bills/laws that were and

are being passed…with multiple riders/unknowns snuck into the legislation.

Crooks abound…many more than anyone can realize. “We” have been assaulted

and hoodwinked…and some (5%) are awake to it. OK, more optimistic, 10%.

Denial and rationalization are powerful defense mechanisms. Lest I seem

combative, allow me to ask what you personally have done against the genocidal

wars the lovely PNAC prescribed? Have you gone to the Dick Cheney household

and called him out? Neither have I, sorry to say, and I don’t live in WY. either.

There is blame to be assigned, you are correct. There are an abundance of

fat, unkempt, uneducated brutes in the USA. Agreed. But there are also many

that are appalled/freaked out/vastly saddened by the state of the Union. “We”

have been overrun by a corrupt gov/corrupt bankers/global agendas. Overrun!!

I say.

You are as mad as a wet dog chased by crazy cats!! You can blast me. I can

Unfriendly …. fair enough

It’s a product of fantasy and wishful thinking to believe that we, the innocent collective us, were duped into destroying this country, mainly by debt, by a handful of elite deep thinkers. If that were so, not only would the people of this country have to be classified as dullards, but the collective us would be lined up and ready for self sacrifice for the good of our country and our future generations.

It’s not so, nearly every man still votes his own pocketbook. We’ve been and are still more than ready to pass the cost of our wants onto our kids or whoever is available.

We are all guilty, minus a few, of demanding our politicos of giving us what we want. We will never face the truth until forced to, come to terms with our failing condition, and thus go forward from a sound footing because we’re insistent on the convenient passing of blame to someone else.

Unfriendly

February 4, 2016 10:08 pm

Here is my view on it. I began to notice the “mass hypnosis” when Judge Robert Bork got “Borked”. I also watched the MSM do to Clarence Thomas what they did to Bork. The smears, etc. Clarence Thomas is a minority. WTF? But, the media pundits said even if there was a CHANCE that he sexually harassed Anita Hill, then he should not be considered for Supreme Court. Fast forward to Bill Clinton and the semen stained dress. Seemed like incontrovertible evidence left by a true sexual predator, right? But not in the eyes of the media pundits who said it depended upon the definition of “is” is.

Even my own parents in their old age became hypnotized. They were always conservative, then, their brains went soft in later years. I remember debating my mother about Bill Clinton and she told me she trusted him more than Ken Starr. She told me it was like Bill Clinton stole Ken Starr’s girlfriend in college and now Ken Starr was out for revenge.

I could believe it and had a problem understanding it for some time. Then, I realized it was how things were being portrayed in the media. Through hypnotic suggestion, even my own parents were lulled asleep by deceit in the media. I believe, had the media reported truthfully and in an unbiased way, it all could have been so different.

That said, I don’t blame my parents. They were lovely people, just deceived. I can’t blame them. I blame the fuckers in control…

It’s kind of fun to watch flame wars, even if they involve someone you know. Where do I start??

ah..here: (of course I get the benefit of reading this from start to finish, but shouldn’t everyone? Oh, and I am also privy to some inside information….

So B says:
“In the end, the people get the government that they deserve. Cosmic justice..

and the Suzanna says”
“B….wrong. Who are the people?” and there are a few more words then she says:
“Some were simply duped. I among them. No one deserves this.”

Reading further I see all sorts of accusations of how ignorant and “unawake” Suzanna is.

LO=frapping-L, she is one of the most “awake persons” on this planet.

I see a lot of pronouns and groups names being thrown around, “we this” and “they that”, and underfire talking about personal responsibility.

See what voting for Ron Paul the last two times has got us? We “get” personal responsibility. Unfortunately the FSA does not.

We get it, but “we” do not deserve what “the rest of us” have voted for.

All Hail the FSA, coming to a town near you!!!! Whether a DEM or Repub get’s voted in, there will be a lot of FS passed around. Oh, by the way, I paid for a lot of that an I do not get any.

How do I know this…

Westcoaster said:
“Why do the major oil companies get paid a subsidy from the Fedgov? Why
do consumers continue to get ripped off by the major health insurers?
Why can’t we audit the Pentagon?”

Because politicians lie to us and vote their interest over ours. Yeah, public confidence is abysmal for the institution of Congress, but just like NIMBY, most congressmen are reelected by landslides (do not blame MY congressmen).

So, in the generic sense “we” get what we get, but we do not deserve it. We deserve a whole lot better.

Lipoh said to Sizanna:
And by the sound of it, you are Gutierrez than many around here because you admit to just now waking up.

(OK, reading further your spell check should have said “guiltier”)…..doesn’t matter, if you do not know the context then don’t make assumptions. Suzanna woke up several years ago. When she said “Some were simply duped. I among them”, she was admitting to be part of the sheeple “then”, but then was a decade ago.

If you think “we” (or “WE”) deserve O’Bama and whomever next come into office, you are dead wrong. WE do not deserve them but we will get them regardless of the efforts of time and the money we spend to try to prevent it.

Suzanna et al……….We absofuckinglutely deserve what’s coming.

“Freedom makes a huge requirement of every human being. With freedom comes responsibility. For the person who is unwilling to grow up, the person who does not want to carry his own weight, this is a frightening prospect.” —Eleanor Roosevelt

We American citizens abdicated our responsibility as the protectors and beneficiaries of freedom and liberty. That cannot be argued. Congress ceded their power to the special interests, bankers and shadow government. That cannot be argued.

The citizens abdicated their responsibility by becoming selfish and greedy thinking only of their own personal interests. For example, senior citizens tend to vote for whoever is promising them more free shit and SS increases. If the country has to go into debt to provide it, so be it! They feel entitled. They really don’t care about the issues that face the younger working class or the up and coming children. They’ve got one foot on a banana peel and the other in the grave and vote for what and who promises them the most comfort. Fuck everyone else and the country. That’s just one example of millions. The price for this kind of narrow, selfish thinking is corrupt govt and the incremental loss of our freedom and liberty.

Congress ceded their power and responsibility as the legislative branch of govt in return for plentiful campaign coffers come election time, sweetheart side deals and multi million dollars salaries working for the special interests, bankers and shadow government. The price for this is that they no longer represent you and I. It’s plain to see for anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

Of course we were lied to. Of course evil men took advantage. That is the nature of evil men. We know this. This isn’t new.

With freedom, comes responsibility………..give up the responsibility…………take the easy road…….as each and everyone of us has at one point or another and the price is the loss of that freedom! Inaction, laziness and greed on the part of each of us……..including we holier than thou TBP denizens put us exactly where we are today. We deserve what is coming. We are going to pay the price for abdicating our responsibility.

When was the last time you voted for a candidate that represented what was best for the country EVEN IF they did not represent your own personal views? If you vote for what is best for the country as a whole then the majority of it’s citizens will benefit. Look at all the young people slobbering to vote for Bernie (see, I’m on topic :-)) to get free education and other free shit………is that best for the country, the working class or the senior citizens? We citizens always make the easy choices, never the hard ones resulting the mess we now face.

Wake up……….grow up…….be honest about it…….and own it.

IndenturedServant
IndenturedServant
February 5, 2016 12:35 am

Old Dog, waking up isn’t an instantaneous thing for anyone. Waking up is a gradual process. First we see the things we vehemently object to then we see a few of the things we took part in or advantage of then we run up against the things we each hold sacred. (for me it was the actions of our military and the reality of racism in a manner I had never considered) I “woke up” in 2006 and back then I would have disputed that we collectively deserve what is coming. Ten years later and everything we did wrong, both individually and collectively to get to this point is blatantly fucking obvious. “Deserve” may not not be the correct choice of words but we reap what we sow.

Suzanna
Suzanna
February 5, 2016 2:20 am

@IS

Whether one uses the words deserve or reap…it implies an intent.

It implies the sense that each person consciously (or even unconsciously)

displays corruption on a personal level. Trust me, I know people that are

so dismayed by the political system, yet do try to vote for someone that

will do the best they can for constituents. We tried that in 2010, with that

passel of candidates that promised to push a fair and honest agenda, and work

to repeal health/tax laws in particular. What happened? They lied. Those guys

did a 180 within a month. So, people get turned off…take a stance eg, of not

voting at all. Not participating.

Social programs are a drain, but the military, the machinery, the weapons sales,

the contractors, the bribes, and the apparent theft of trillions outweigh SNAP and

welfare. SS? I have been steady on this. Gov. can cut a check to people for what

they pd. and scrap the program. Medicare and medicaid are the big drains/frauds.

That is not so much my opinion…it is what I know. I worked as a nurse (VA, private

hospital) for 30 years. So, if you, IS, say people have been greedy, even criminal

by exploiting systems/deliberately and consciously…then those individuals do

deserve to lose. They deserve to lose ill gotten gains and be shamed.

However, there are so many good people, honest people who do not steal. Or

exploit. People that honor others and do the best they can with what they have.

Don’t you know any? Look, we are headed for a financial collapse, and a reset

that will wipe out many people. We are headed for civil unrest or worse. The

way the warmongers are behaving, we might be in for unending wars. The

best anyone can do (in the police state we are experiencing) is be an example

in our own community, at our work, within our relationships, and our families.

Do you imagine I am not angry and frustrated? Sure, who wouldn’t be.

I have to ask, do the Syrians deserve their fate? The Yemeni’s? I could name

many countries. Don’t worry IS, USA will suffer, is suffering now, and will suffer

greatly in the future. Do our children deserve starvation and death? Do you?

Personalize it for a moment, and extend that to your family…have you

enriched yourself by fraud? Do you spend all your time watching TV? Probably

not. I will not accept blanket statements that all people are jerks and anything bad

that befalls people in the USA is well deserved. Not all people, not by a long shot.

Rather, we need to help each other cope with this giant pile of shite that we find

ourselves in. Even if, through ignorance, we “allowed” it to happen.

IndenturedServant
IndenturedServant
February 5, 2016 3:38 am

You’re missing the point suzanna. The citizens COLLECTIVELY abdicated their responsibility to remain vigilant, educate themselves and protect their freedoms. We’ve taken the easy way out. As a society we do deserve what is coming. Are there individuals who don’t deserve it? Sure. Is that going to protect them? We’ve all tried voting (since forever) for what we thought was best candidate. When has that worked out? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result. According to the current Trumpeteers, all we need do is vote for The Donald and all will be right with the world. According to Westie all we need do is vote for Bernie to achieve utopia. Isn’t that what we did in 1980, 1984, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012? The abysmal results have been staring us in the face all our lives yet we continue to collectively vote for the next corrupt bastard.

I think everyone does display a level of personal corruption except for children. We all tend to vote in our own personal interests rather than what is best for everybody or for the entire country. It’s instinctual and largely based on greed. Greed is good when you’re living as hunter gatherers but greed becomes more and more destructive as we become “civilized” and live in larger and larger groups. I’m not saying that we do it with evil intent.

I grew up as a military brat and I benefited enormously from the fraud committed against the American people by the MIC. Half the world was my literal back yard as I grew up. Fact is that the offspring of my generation and their children are going to pay for that fraud which didn’t benefit them one bit. I indirectly recognized that fraud when I was 15 or 16 yet no one could explain it to me. It was 2007 before I recognized it for what it was.

The unsustainability of the post war boom was as predictable as eventual crash of every fiat money system ever created yet the boomers and even genX demanded their piece of the pie. We all demanded double digit returns on our retirement accounts, cheap goods, cheap energy, low interest rates etc and the corrupt bastards we elected delivered it. Were you out there campaigning against any of that? You’re what…..50 years old and if memory serves, retired right? Did you benefit from any of the corruption that enabled that? You do realize that every single dollar in your retirement fund is some other persons debt right? Your children and grand children will be paying that debt. Do you know how many generations in all of human history were able to work for 50 years or less and retire comfortably for the rest of their lives? Three or four at most and all of them have been in the last 100 years or so.

We all benefited and we’re all going to pay.
