Stucky Q.O.T.D. —– Books

“The only two books you need to read are “Confessions Of An Economic Hitman ” and Smedley Butler’s book ” War Is A Racket ” to understand why ” Countries hate us ” .”

——– BUCKHED in the “Evil Empires” thread

Agreed! Specifically,  “Confessions of an Economic Hitman” was one of the most eye-opening books concerning how-the-world-works that I have ever read.

I love to read, as do most others here.  I’m always looking for something really new, really interesting, really awesome. Something jaw-dropping.  A “wow!!” moment. And a woody would be nice, also.

Question:  Which books have you actually read which fit the bill above?

Note: Let’s try to keep it to three, or less. Also, let’s leave out the Bible (I’ve already read it multiple times cover-to-cover).

Author: Stucky

I'm right, you're wrong. Deal with it.

“Does anyone have some suggestions for a group of left-leaning, highly educated and mildly awake women – and they are far more awake than most just for me being in the group.”

“Empire of the Summer Moon” by S.C. Gwynne. Absolutely fascinating. It will wake them up on the reality and brutality of Native Americans, specifically the bad-ass Comanches. Be prepared for the standard, “Yes, but they were here first.”

Read the book, recommend it, and get ready to rock and roll with your friends.

@SSS

We read that two years ago – very VERY enlightening. It was selected by one of the members who had a grandfather whose parents “settled” out in Colorado.

I read hundreds of bogs daily. I think that any thoughts that are put together to form a book that is eventually published are too old and filtered down for me to bother with.

THE SECOND FALL Paperback – January 15, 2012
by Charles Hurst

The Second Fall is an offbeat account of the predicted Revelation. Lucifer, under the guise of a high level political operative, uses the corrupt government and an apathetic people to initiate the final fall of mankind into his long awaited grasp. However, Christ gathers his newly chosen, a group of misfits who will become the unlikely outcasts, to wage war against this impending evil and whose efforts will determine the outcome of the world.

‘Why the Allies Won” by Richard Overy is an eye-opening account of how the Russians defeated the main Nazi army, why the Germans with far superior forces and weapons lost and the just how incredibly stupid political and military leaders can be.
“Never Cry Wolf” by Farley Mowat is an account of his long term study of a wolf family which dispels many of the ignorant myths about these amazing predators that we have inherited from our ignorant ancestors.
“Sick Puppy” by Carl Hiassen is a very funny novel about a madcap enviro taking on the greedy forces of evil in Florida. There is much truth and wisdom behind the humor.

Just to get a glimpse into the mindset of those @$$holes who are hellbent on destroying this once fine nation, Rules For Radicals, by Saul Alinsky

B. Hussein Obama and the Hildebeast both use it as a blueprint for their destruction.
