I don’t care either because I am a Capitalist. Nobody gave me the farm, grass or cow (but maybe God but for damn sure not a Democrat) so touch my cow and you’ll learn some more about my philosophy of life.

No guys, I’m not a Socialist, but I’ll vote for one in June and again in November. Why? Because this country has been pushed way too fucking far to the right of the political spectrum, and it’s high time things reversed to at least the center. And Bernie is the only honest person running. He tells the truth.

Remember, Nixon is the one who came up with the EPA. Eisenhower’s politics would be branded Liberal today.

It all went off the rails with Ray-gun, who cut taxes without cutting spending and told us we needed to spent more on the military and less on our society. He also committed treason with his back-door deal with Iran regarding the delay of releasing the hostages ( who were released on his inauguration day). It’s been all down hill since then.

“this country has been pushed way too fucking far to the right of the political spectrum”

Westy the USA has been pushed politically so fat to the left it makes Canada look right of centre.

Culturally you are still pretty right wing. But like the Queen – that moniker is little more than a figure head.

@West
Are you a comedian? but no one gets it? Your jokes, ie?

I do not believe Sanders is “telling the truth,” he is telling
a truth or two. He gets attention because he says the banks
are running foul, and that financial “opportunities” aren’t
equally distributed. Hello! The man is a communist dedicated
to providing free stuff…and that means everyone goes down the
tubes together and quickly. He is blustery, not courageous.
Everyone hates the bankers by now.

Westcoaster- Please see the scale below.

L————-*——————-C———————————R

The asterisk near the L (Left) indicates where I believe we actually stand as a country. To move all the way to the letter (L) or extreme left is TOTALITARIAN COMMUNISM. Where government owns or controls everything and personal rights are few including private ownership of property. That is government control at the highest level.

Now, lets move to the extreme right (R) which is ANARCHY or lack of organized government. I believe population to be too dense to have self rule and be successful. So if we put ourselves a little more than halfway between (C) center and the (R) right I believe we would be in far better shape. That position would indicate LIMITED GOVERNMENT which is what the founders were going for IMO. Your failure to understand that more government is a restraint on the freedom of the citizens is where the problem lies.

Your confusion as to the workings of the political scale of government shows when you express your indignation for moving toward the right. SOCIALISM is the bridge between the center and the extreme left and you openly support an extreme socialist while stating you are not a socialist. I believe many Americans suffer from this same confusion.

The political spectrum is a circle, not linear. The circle is split down the middle in half, Liberal on the left Conservative on the right. As you move from the top, or center down the left you move past liberalism toward socialism and at the bottom of the circle you reach communism. On the right as you move down the circle you get conservatism, authoritarianism and finally fascism. You see the each side has it’s mirror partner, the end goal of each is total control of our lives.
Anarchy does not lie in the circle, to think that the natural progression from a conservative to anarchist is laughable.
Libertarians and Anarchists live outside the circle – they are on a linear scale from each other because they are completely different ways of looking at the world from our traditional views.
