That is absolutely right. And since cars kill people driving drunk, not only cars must be banned, but alcohol too. How these people’s heads dont explode is beyond me….

Before all the drug cartel stuff set in, Mexico had a murder rate over twice ours and for all practical purposes guns were illegal to the average Mexican. (There is one gun store in Mexico, run by the military, and it is really, really hard to even get inside it much less buy something it sells.)
The primary murder weapon then was a knife with blunt instruments following.
As for trying to make a causal connection with guns and suicide, Japan has double the suicide rate we do and gun ownership in Japan, both legal and illegal, is so low as to not even rate a numerical statistic above zero to represent it.

The neo-fascist and cultural Marxist hack Katie Couric, in interviewing gun rights activists for a documentary titled “Under The Gun,” disingenuously edited the interview to make the gun owners appear to be ignorant, backwards country fucks. She tossed them a softball question, and in listening to the raw audio (link below) they immediately answered her question, and answered it intelligently. Couric, however, edited the film to show them stumped by her question, staring into space, further stupified for many seconds before some syrupy music starts – all in an effort to make the MSM drooling fans come to the conclusion that gun owners are nothing but morons that should not be allowed to own guns.
Unfortunately, there is not enough outrage at this statist bitch’s deception and journalistic skulduggery in an attempt to produce statist propaganda to thwart the Second Amendment. This was, and is, an unsettling and egregious use of the media to further strip the rights of American citizens “for their own good and safety,” and because those in control are incredibly omniscient, and I suppose, because the gun science “is settled.” End of discussion!
