MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

That’s funny. There was virtually no terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Libya prior to 2002. The war on terrorism implemented by Washington DC Neo-cons has sure done wonders – for the military industrial complex’ profits.

Nearly half the terrorist attacks worldwide occur in four countries. According to the newly released Global Terrorism Index 2016 Iraq is the worst hit place in the world, with 20 percent of attacks occurring there in 2015. “Although many countries experience terrorism, it is also highly concentrated. Over 80 per cent of all deaths in 2015 occurred in eight countries,” the authors of the report state. Our infographic shows the spread of such attacks in 2015.

The neo-con-nazis have been in true demonic money making mode.
First they bomb out NY buildings (fake terrorism) then they go to
Iraq to wage a phony war. Of course there is much more to this crime
spree. The actors that planned and executed the 9/11 events (it was a drill)
must be held responsible and must pay restitution. The only way to
redemption is to repent, and pay for the damages. The criminals are out
of control. Confiscate their wealth is my vote.

Iraq before 2002 was not a peaceful terror free nation, Saddam Hussein was well known for brutal and deadly suppression of any and all dissent or threats against his power and kept the terrorists at bay by just killing them.

And that included killing large portions of the civilian population along with them.

Was Iraq better off then than now (along with the rest of the world)?

Probably, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a terror filled population living there.

Should we have invaded to prevent their threat to us? No, our real threat comes from Mexico not Iraq. Maybe we should invade there the next time we feel an overwhelming need to invade someone.

No one said they were good guys.

They just seem to be left out as terrorists accounting for a great percentage of world terror.

Maybe a more specific and narrow definition of “terrorism” is needed.

BTW, you might find that “Zero” in Iraq rather strongly disputed by the Kurd’s there.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense to invest of over $5 Trillion Dollars in both Iraq with a population of approximately 25 Million and Afghanistan at 25 Million or $100,000 per individual while the per capita income for Iraq is $2000 and Afghanistan is only $500. With that extreme investment in lives, time and money, both countrys could be in first world condition and the now wealthy citizens might even like us.

You are right that it would have been cheaper to just pay everyone in Iraq and Afghanistan a yearly wage for the rest of their lives — but that would have missed the point. The REAL point is that by spending trillions of dollars murdering brown people, a handful of politically well connected people have walked away with billions. That was the purpose of wasting all those trillions from the start.

The U.S. needs to say phooey to the MIC and learn to leave the rest of the world ALONE!
