The Destroyer of Worlds

Guest Post by The Zman

Since Trump has entered the White House, the Left has been spinning bizarre fantasies about how the Trump team is part of some super-secret Russian conspiracy. You cannot turn on the television without seeing a liberal nutter hooting “Russian hacking!” To date, no one has bothered to explain what that phrase is supposed to mean. The implication is that through some special magic, the Russians caused the voting machines to register results in favor of Trump. They don’t come out and say it, but that’s the game.

A big part of this lunacy is the fact that the Left was sure that Trump could not win the election. It’s not that they were sure they had the better choice. It was that they were completely convinced that there were no circumstances where Trump could become President. They were so sure, in fact, that they had all of official Washington convinced of this as well. A month before the election there was no one in either party talking about a Trump victory. In fact, the topic of debate was the size and scope of the Clinton victory.

This belief was so pervasive, that both parties spent the summer plotting how they were going to configure themselves after the disaster. Team Clinton spent the summer figuring out how they could use the landslide in order to steamroll the Republicans and enact their agenda. The Republicans were similarly planning for the onslaught and how they could somehow preserve themselves after the election. The day after the election, the stunned looks on the faces of everyone in the political class made this hilariously clear.

There’s another aspect to this that has become abundantly clear over the last couple of months. Both parties wanted to see Clinton win. The Republicans, at least the leadership, liked the setup under Obama. They got to pose as rock-ribbed conservatives fighting Obama, without ever having to do anything. Democrats liked that Obama was just issuing executive orders and bypassing the parliamentary process. The Washington ecosystem was at equilibrium as long as everyone on both sides played their part.

The proof of this is the fact that the GOP has no plans ready for the 2017 legislative session. They have been talking for years about ObamaCare and now we know they never planned to do anything. The same is true of taxes, which is the one thing Republicans like doing. They have no plans for anything, not even something symbolic. They not only have no plans, they are still staggering around in shock, not sure what they should be doing. Suddenly nothing makes sense to the people inside the bubble and they are scared.

In a world where the rules no longer apply, it quickly becomes every man for himself and that’s what is happening in Washington right now. The Left accusing Trump of colluding with the Russians is not just a reckless political attack. It’s war on the very system of governance. It’s the sort of thing that goes on when the political system is breaking down. Trump’s charge that Obama was spying on his campaign makes perfect sense in light of what we see happening. The evidence of some sort of Nixonian skulduggery is pretty strong.

Of course, in a world where the scrupulous following of protocol is essential to maintaining the status quo, a break down in the rules puts everyone at risk. That seems to be Trump’s game here with the spying charges. The establishment has tossed out the rules in their effort to attack him, so he is threatening to further bust up the system, which works to his favor and to their disadvantage. it’s a foolish game the Left has decided to play as they have much more to lose in a world without rules.

There’s another aspect to this. Trump has fewer skeletons in his closet than any president in generations. In Washington, that makes him a very dangerous man. All of these guys have shady deals in their closet. All of them bend the rules to reward themselves and their associates. No one says anything about it because everyone is dirty. Washington is a lot like a corrupt police precinct, where everyone is on the take so no one dares rat on anyone else. Trump’s life is an open book so he does not have to play along.

That’s probably why he went nuclear over the weekend. He’s looking around at a city full of crooked politicians calling for investigations so he is turning the table and threatening to open the investigation up to everything. Imagine Trump coming out and asking for a special prosecutor to look into Obama, Clinton, the IRS people, the DOJ and maybe even the FBI itself. There’s a lot of people in Washington with a lot to hide and Trump certainly knows it, which is why he is going on the attack over the tapping of his offices.

A long time ago I pointed out that Trump was The Mule, the character from the Asimov novels. Trump is the destroyer of worlds, not because he has some grand vision of the future and wants to plow under the existing order to make room for his utopia. He is the destroyer because the old order can only exist if Trump does not exist. His rise to the White House is the nullification of the established order. It’s why Washington is going for total war to destroy him. They see it is a matter of survival.

It’s probably too late. The Mule has arrived.

Funny how the Foundation Series is repeatedly mentioned in this blog. I feel that the Founder of the Foundation, Hari Seldon, and his science, Psychohistory, with which the future progress (or regress) of Mankind can be foretold using statistical analysis, calls to mind Strauss and Howe and The Fourth Turning. Trump may very well be the Mule, the statistically unaccounted for Wild Card in the mix.

Why so serious? It feels like the beginning of chaos, with rule and order spinning wildly out of control, the feeling of “this feels weird” is happening just before the system falls apart. I guess critical mass could happen by spring or summer, the best protection now is faith in God, a good sense of humor and an ucanny ability to adapt and think on the fly to a wildly changing world. The reason? The old order (establishment) is losing ground quickly and the only way now for them to recover is through a chaos event. The sad truth is the enablers of the establishment gleefully run head long into the abyss thinking somehow they will be spared, just like in the movies, the bad guy accomplices are the first to go.

The last president to take on the money control of the shadow government meet with a horrible fate in Dallas Texas ! Note Trump is shaking things up but he has not forced the wage and wealth transfer issues that has bankrupted the nation and made many in his income bracket obscenely wealthy at the expense of middle America ! Pensions are bankrupted at an alarming rate with no end in sight and most are powerless to fight the system that did this and yet that very system will continue to demand payment after they have literally taken everything ! I am certain President Trumps plans and intentions are needed desperately however I fear it’s to little to late ! Make America Great Again BRAVO WONDERFUL ! With what ? With who ? We have not had a truely functioning industrial economy and have not trained or paid people to keep it oiled and running in decades ! Fact is the people that did would or could were thrown out like we were trash and now to old and worn out we die off not able to pay for health care housing and food ! THEY HAVE TAKEN IT ALL AND I FEAR THEY WANT MORE !
I hope THEY CHOKE ON IT the signs are everywhere !

He may not need to. See, this debt ceiling theater that is coming up, may actually mean something this time. Trump knows damn well that most of the schemes in the financial world are in a colossal bubble. Anyone with a modicum of sense knows that.
All it takes is a pin. It will do nothing but benefit him if the needle pops it while the status quo is trying their best to keep him from doing anything. They are the party of no right now. Now, pop the bubble. The perception is that Trump has been successfully blocked so far by the crusaders, so it definitely will not be the perception of the sheeple that Trump was the reason for the pop. They have seen their 401K’s go up since his election. No, the reasons for the pop will be perceived as Obama debt policies, Obamacare, Fed money printing etc. BTW the fed will be raising rates, perception will be they are political, or why else would they have not raised the past 8 years? Yea, Yellen, try selling “data dependent” while the market is down a 1000 points….
I think Trump actually has a great setup for success here. We shall see, but right now Trump would look like the responsible parent coming in and fixing things if this all comes down now….

Pretty perceptive, but I fail to see Trump as a “responsible parent”.
My money is on this scenerio:

Debt ceiling hits and it stalls – similar to the Cruz shutdown. The markets spook and there is a run for the exits. This is after the Feds have raised rates. Congress realizing how they have fu<ked up increases the debt ceiling and the market calms down but doesn't recover. The economy burns slowly down and the feds lower rates back to zero and are forced back into QE. By this point all major economies are circling the drain and everybody and I mean everybody knows the whole shooting match is on death watch, everyone is just waiting for that final shoe to drop.

North Korea doing something crazy
Major terrorist incident
Major hurricane or earthquake
Political assassinations
Insurrection that starts locally and just continues to grow (examples Bundy Ranch, ND pipeline, Fergerson riots, LA riots, etc.)
Etc., etc… Something will happen it is simple law of averages and Murphy.

Its coming and everybody knows. That feeling you described is out there – I am actually hearing people talk out loud about it. They're new to the party but people are waking up and they aren't going to like what's for breakfast.

I have noticed that the lefty peons are upset with Trumps alegations that Obama was spying. So i guess they dont believe spying of a political opponent is ok or even justified?

They sure seemed ok with the IRS going after conservitive non profits. So will they have a change of heart and agree that spying on the Trump campaign is ok as well?

I think what will be very telling is how often they will attempt to change the story. In other words, talk about the EPA or womens rights.

If Clinton had won we would be discussing The Dune Trilogy instead of the Foundation series. Either way it ends up a Globalist plot. Muslims against Robots, I vote for R Daneel Olivaw and his mechanical brethren.

It’s funny you mention Dune. I first read it in high school and didn’t really get the point that spice was oil, and that Arrakis was the Middle East. Hell, I even thought that the word “Jihad” was something Frank Herbert had made up. If only.

My in-laws despise Trump. Every time I am over there they have something to say about how terrible he is. Right now he is a Russian sympathizer. I pointed out that every government talks with every other government and that the democrats regularly met with the Russian as well and that so far they haven’t been able to find anything he did that was illegal. I doubt they will.

They think I am a Trump supporter as a result. They misunderstand. Trump is a weapon. A weapon of mass establishment destruction. I doubt that he can ‘fix’ what is wrong with the USA or the west in the amount of time he has. In fact, I am positive he cannot. But he can tear the old order down and turn it to rubble so that in the future we can build something new. Something better.

Every week or so, when the talking heads have a panel discussion, there will always be one person (not the host or a prominent journalist) who will says something like:

“this chaos in the White house will continue, until the next big global event occurs”

Almost like they are foreshadowing a black swan/false flag that will change our perspective away from Trump, and pop the current bubble that is on everyone’s radar.

And they always hint that it will take place “where our interests are at stake”
like not in the US, but one of our allies.

My guess is that LePen wins in the French elections, and then the EU/Germany becomes the focus of all financial Armageddon.

Deutsche Bank = Lehman Brothers = next financial crisis.

It’s a race to see what will fail first: Deutsche Bank, the Italian banks, the Chinese economy in general, the Muddle East, derivatives worldwide; there are so many weak spots, the challenge will be in finding a strong one.
Snowflakes melt in the heat, and a heat wave is definitely coming!

Normally, I would say use the opportunity to describe a weird scenario but now it seems I can’t top reality. Shit is getting really weird.

Trump is no destroyer of any world, he’s an opportunist who’s found the back door to the whorehouse. Or we could say he’s muscled in on the boys from Washington. Richard Gere said he stayed out of Washington because he’d cause a distraction.

It seems he knew about the territorial rules. Even Jesse Jackson recognized that certain towns belong to certain groups; New York belonged to Jews, Chicago to Blacks…

Trump knows no limits

Imagine our country without Democrats. The first thing that comes to mind is an average IQ jump of 50 points. Almost every public school problem solved. Crime would be cut in half. Welfare would become obsolete. Illegal Immigrants would become history. Medical costs would drop 80%. States, Hollywood, Television and Colleges would need replacements for 90% of their workers. Improvements would overwhelm whatever the downside would be.
