Pennsylvania Coroner Says Dying Addicts Keep Morgue Full “Most Nights”

I live in Montgomery County and have documented the demographics as upper middle class suburbanites. You can thank the mega-drug companies for this tsunami of death killing our youths. The spiral downwards of our society continues at an accelerating pace. But at least the stock market is hitting new highs and Trump is going reduce taxes on corporations and the mega-rich.

The coroner’s office in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania is literally running out of room for all the bodies that are piling up because of America’s worsening synthetic opioid epidemic, according to Triblive.com.

As the story notes, heroin isn’t responsible for these deaths; rather, Synthetic opioids like fentanyl, carfentanil and their many analogues are the chief culprit.

As Triblive reports:

“Lab-created, designer opioids have far outpaced heroin as a killer of addicts, and they’ve kept the coroner’s office full on most nights.

“If this pace continues, I’m not really sure what we’re going to do,” said Montgomery County, Ohio, coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger. “We had 13 (bodies) yesterday, and 12 of them were overdoses.”

The county’s coroner had to expand his cooler last month because its 36-body capacity wasn’t enough. It now has room for 42 bodies, and the country still occasionally runs out of space.

“It’s full every night.”

Harshbarger even ran out of space one day earlier this year, again because of overdoses, and was forced to send some bodies to a local funeral home for storage. He also occasionally rents refrigerated trailers that can be brought in when deaths spike.

In Allegheny County, health officials, instances of fentanyl-related overdoses surpassed those of heroin for the first time in 2016. Six hundred people overdosed and died in the county last year – most from opioids, said Dr. Karen Hacker, director of the Allegheny County Health Department.

Having surpassed gun homicides for the first time in 2015, the epidemic of heroin and opioid related deaths in the US continues to grow, amid the dismal failure of the ‘war on drugs.’ Lawmakers, who have only just begun to wake up to the crisis, have requested more data about the synthetic opioid fentanyl, including how it is trafficked and how many people it has killed.

The ramifications of the crisis stretch far beyond hospitals and morgues: Ohio saw a 13% increase in children in foster care last year, which officials suspect is linked to the growing number of overdose deaths.

True, but it’s still sad to see so many young(er) people killing themselves with drugs because they find nothing to make their lives fulfilling and worthwhile without them.

Man, good thing we have a War on Drugs.
It’s working every bit as well as the assorted other “Wars”- on poverty, illiteracy, terror…

Before any of you brainwashed ‘deep thinkers’ who believe federal prisons are full of people doing 40 years for smoking a joint, read Heather Mac’s piece. It’s full of actual facts and numbers and WEIGHTS, inconvienient as that might be. https://www.wsj.com/articles/mandatory-minimums-dont-deserve-your-ire-1495754009

That has nothing to do with the ineffectiveness of the supposed “War on Drugs”.
The DEA admits they get less than 10%. It ain’t working.
How about recognizing the stupidity of alcohol Prohibition which took the Mafia from a NJ street gang to a national crime syndicate. It’s exactly the same thing that the Drug War did- except it made the cartels enough money to own whole countries and partner with terrorists.
Look at the history of Portugal for a better solution:

Portugal Won the War on Drugs by Giving It Up

One, we, as a society are conditioning youngsters
to go with drugs, often starting in kindergarten,
as to curtail any desire by kids to get outside and
run.

Two, gov imports most of the drugs as it has become
(maybe behind MIC) the most profitable business
of all. Gotta fund those black budget operations,
don’t you know.

Three, the synthetics and the elephant trancs come
from the ME, primarily, Pakistan. “Doses” vary
thus the onslaught of OD deaths.

Gov doesn’t care about the increasing deaths,
just collateral damage. That garbage is found
everywhere from sea to shining radiated sea.
It is peddled outside middle schools…everywhere.

Meth mouth on black?Well imo this is a propaganda push to justify booting legitimate script users from doctors, lumped in with back alley trash using intimidation tactics plus fake news and shame tactics. Why?Because seniors ,vets pills ect cost the gov $$$$$. Broke Ca now trying to pass BROWNCARE A ONE PAYER HEALTHCARE SYSTEM TO COVER THE COST OF ILLEGALS SANCTUARY CITIES AND GOV RETIREES. Remember the states that will let a person commit suicide?

I am not at all sure that the opioid “crisis” as reported is actually going on. It seems to me a lot like the H1N1 flu scare in 2008-9, where it was “reported” that thousands and thousands of otherwise hale, healthy, young or middle aged people were dying all over the country from this flu. It was bullshit, flat didn’t happen. There was a normal flu season, with a rather nasty variaant, but the death rate was, in fact, no different than in any other normal flu season.

It will take a lot more than MSM reports from county coroners to convince me otherwise. Do not take this as a call for legalization of opioids, or some condemnation of the hapless shitheads who become addicted therto. Maybe it is not fake news, but I am not sure.

Actually, the age group most affected is 45-54, according to this February 24, 2017 article:

http://www.pennlive.com/nation-world/2017/02/latest_figures_show_continued.html

“Overdoses increased in all age groups. But the biggest jump took place among people aged 55-64. In that group, the toll was nearly 22 deaths per 100,000 people, up from 4.2 in 1999.

The overall death rate, however, was highest among people 45-54, with 30 deaths per 100,000.

The national death toll is highest among non-Hispanic whites, with overdoses causing 21.1 deaths per 100,000 people. The death rate among blacks was 12.2 per 100,000 and 7.7 per 100,000 among Hispanics.

Some states had 2015 overdose death rates that were well above the national average of 16.3 per 100,000. The states with the highest rates were: West Virginia, with 41.5 per 100,000; New Hampshire, with 34.3; and Kentucky and Ohio each with 29.9.

Pennsylvania’s toll of 26.3 overdose deaths per 100,000 people was the sixth highest rate in the nation. Nebraska had the lowest rate, 6.9 per 100,000.”

Consider how this opiod crisis began. A certain family O&O drug company in CT convinced doctors that their painkiller was the premium pain-management solution. It wasn’t. But it got millions hooked on opiate drugs…

Now consider that it’s public knowledge our own government has paid for studies to “humanely reduce the civilian population”. In fact that was the thesis of the short brunette standing in the rear of the iconic “Bin Laden operation” situation room photo. Audrey F. Tomason is the current Director for Counterterrorism. Legend has it she authored a paper titled “Apocalypse Equation” that was all about reducing the civilian population…..humanely. Maybe that’s what the opium od’s are all about. Reminds me of Iran/Contra and the crack epidemic.

+1000 on that one. Sometimes common sense and simple reasoning are the best solution. Always wondered how someone with any intelligence would do the math that putting something in your body that came from a shady asshole on a street corner made sense. I would agree that this is Darwinism at its best. Natural selection folks. It is what needs to happen in a lot of aspects of life today. If the fittest were allowed to multiply, while the crap is allowed to die, we would all be better for it. TBTF is unfortunately not just happening in banking, it is happening in every ‘special interest group’ in the world.
