My neighbor has an ant hill in his yard, so naturally, every chance I get, I go over in his yard and stomp on the ants. So far they have bitten the hell out of me and as soon as I walk away they start rebuilding the nest. My neighbor yells at me to stay out of his yard, but hey!, someone has to stomp on those ants, so I guess I will have to do it myself. It’s starting to affect my home life; my wife says she is getting tired of bandaging me up. Still, I am pretty sure that if I just keep stomping, maybe put in more time at it, maybe stomp harder, that I can get rid of those blasted ants next door, neighbor be damned!

That makes a certain amount of pragmatic sense, but if I ever stop stomping ant beds in other people’s yards, I’ll have to give up my social status. When I walk through the airport no one will thank me for my service of stomping ants.

The other night I watched the Netflix movie the War Machine about Afghanistan. The movie is an honest portrayal of the fact the US has no objective in Afghanistan and will not be successful in whatever the fuck we are doing over there. Every time a major power goes into one of these third world countries to improve things, it always turns to shit. It happened to the French and US and Vietnam, the Russian and US and Afghanistan, and the US in Iraq. Why can’t we mind our own business and keep the hell out of these places? Oh, that’s right, our military industry need to make bombs and weapons for both sides.
Au contraire, the opium poppy fields have never been more productive! How the hell do you expect the CIA to carry out their black ops against US citizens and the world? CIA wars always benefit the CIA.
