“jury pardon”??? It’s the duty of any jury to acquit if “reasonable doubt” exists. After Detective Furman took the 5th three times, No jury could fail to find reasonable doubt. The LA cops blew this case when they tried to frame a guilty man.

There was plenty of evidence to convict OJ of double murder; Furman was a dirty cop and an issue that should have been pursued too; find a POS dirty cop (how hard is that) and double murderer gets a pass is BS.

OJ wasn’t in jail for killing anyone, he was acquitted for that.
For the crime he was convicted of 8 years was probably longer than most other first offense convicts serve.
I imagine that was the consideration of the parole board, and that is the way it should be, his time served and record as a prisoner being what was considered since there was nothing else in terms of criminal convictions to be considered related to his crime.
