Mike Krieger On Charlottesville: “Don’t Play Into The Divide & Conquer Game”

Authored by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

I’m going to keep this relatively short. I’ve written thousands of articles over the years, and anyone who’s read me for any period of time knows where I stand when it comes to hatred, bigotry and violence. I find all these things repulsive, and think people who gravitate to such behavior to be operating on such a low level of awareness, it’s genuinely hard for me to believe these people exist in real life.

I published my seminal piece discussing the repulsion I feel with today’s political environment back in February in the post, Lost in the Political Wilderness. Now’s a perfect time to reread that piece, but here’s an excerpt if you’re short on time:

I think the U.S. citizenry is being afflicted by a sort of mass insanity at the moment. There are no good outcomes if this continues. As a result, I feel compelled to provide a voice for those of us lost in the political wilderness. We must persevere and not be manipulated into the obvious and nefarious divide and conquer tactics being aggressively unleashed across the societal spectrum. If we lose our grounding and our fortitude, who will be left to speak for those of us who simply don’t fit into any of the currently ascendant political ideologies?

For those of you who consider yourselves to largely reside in the yellow state (2nd tier consciousness), I have one key message for you. There’s a very deliberate attempt to manipulate you into devolving back into one of the lower tiers. Likewise, there is a very deliberate attempt to prevent those on the cusp of higher consciousness from ever evolving. The reason is simple. The lower tiers are very tribal and easily divided and conquered. The higher tiers are not.

Unlike most people writing articles on Charlottesville, I’m not going to spend my time getting on a pedestal to prove to everyone how much I hate neo-Nazis. My contempt for bigotry and violence has been a constant theme throughout all my writings over the years. In contrast, the purpose of this piece is to try to knock some sense into people so that we don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. Let’s start by discussing a tweet I wrote earlier today.

I set myself up for hysterical criticism with that tweet by saying “both sides,” which dishonest people will surely twist into support for Trump’s commentary on this weekend’s violence. I don’t care. While I certainly don’t want to minimize the disturbing scenes from Charlottesville, and the terrible loss of life and multiple injuries that occurred, it’s always important to keep our eyes on the bigger picture.

Specifically, we need to review some obvious facts. Neo-nazis and antifa didn’t destroy the middle class. They didn’t start an unnecessary and barbaric war in Iraq either. Neither of these groups jack up prescription drugs, nor do they poison your water or food supply. Oligarchs and their political minions do that. Violent Americans dressing up in Halloween costumes aren’t the real threat, oligarchs are, but the corporate media doesn’t want to talk about that. This is precisely why they focus so heavily on clueless protestors and counter-protestors punching each other. It benefits the true power structure in America.

I’ve got no affinity for neo-Nazis or antifa, but I also recognize them to be a relative sideshow compared to the far more pressing threats we face today. You can discern where the true power lies based on what the corporate media chooses to focus on, and what it chooses to ignore. An obsession with useful idiot American protestors punching each other is very similar to the 9-month incessant focus on Russia election conspiracy theories. It perfectly aids the agenda of the real power structure in this country. Creating outrage about neo-Nazis and Russia doesn’t hurt oligarchs; in fact, it helps their cause. It diverts attention and energy away from the true cancer destroying society, and provides the added benefit of allowing terrible people to get up on soapboxes. Condemning neo-Nazis is easy and takes no real courage, which is why oligarchs and their spokespeople salivate at the opportunity to use it to advance their own unrelated interests. Here are two examples of what I mean.

First, there’s Neera Tanden of the centrist-Democratic aligned Center for American Progress. The political ideology of such people can be best summarized as: “oligarchs are great as long as they support abortion.” Theirs is a dying ideology — soon to be extinct — but they’re desperately attempting to hang on to their dwindling relevance. While I’m sure neo-Nazi marches genuinely outrages such people, it’s telling that they immediately use such an opportunity to shift the conversation away from economic populism (which they despise), back to politics of emotion and identity.

Adam Johnson perfectly took her to task for exploiting the violence to attack leftist economic populists who remain stubbornly focused on the problems of oligarchy.

That’s nothing though compared to the CEO of Goldman Sachs, who unsurprisingly, jumped on the opportunity to make himself look like a good guy compared to neo-Nazis. Naturally, the corporate media was right there to amplify the vacuous preening of this Wall Street oligarch.

Apex financial predators and pharmaceutical company CEOs are suddenly heroic figures. See how easy that was?

So here’s my point.

Yes, neo-Nazis are terrible people, and violent neo-Nazis are even worse; but so are violent leftist protestors and anti-protestors. Anyone dressing up in a costume looking for a fight is unhelpful to those of us who want to actually deal with the multitude of things that have gone awry in this country.

Personally, I’m not going to be manipulated into thinking these fringe groups of lunatics represent the real problem in America. I know who really ran this country into the ground, and it’s not them. It’s the oligarchs and their apologists who are now out there acting like the voice of reason.

Play into the divide and conquer game all you want, just recognize that if you don’t know who the sucker at the political table is, it’s probably you.

I actually think hate can be beneficial if it is properly harnessed. Biblical philosophy aside, should we not hate rapists, pedophiles, ponzi schemers, and revolving-door politicos? Did we defeat the actual Nazis with love? As long as hate is promulgated with reason rather than emotion, it should be able to accomplish good.

Finally some focus amid the freak side show. Here’s hoping Bannon is soon to be dearly departed, as is now being reported so we all can refocus on the heart of the problem and stop thinking the political process has any relevance whatsoever.

Once a division as large as the one in our nation has occurred there is no choice but to choose your side.

Trying to be neutral about it just means you catch fire from both sides, not that your are staying out of it.

The problem we face is one of the sides is intent on winning and the other on fighting among themselves.

Which one side is winning with ease and the other is losing without even fighting effectively.

I’m not sure the country is as deeply divided as we think.
Should the awake decide to promote dignity, refuse to
fall for the propaganda around protests and riots, much of
the theater performances would have to shut down. Close.
Ignore them, and stay away from crowds, especially protesting
and “counter protesting” crowds. Life is too short for all this
race baiting distraction.

The deplorables are being led into a “kill zone”, by allowing their protest against the concerted effort to shame white people into irrelevance, to be tied publicly to white supremacists by the media. So now, before your argument can even be presented, you must distance yourself from all the rightist hate groups, at which point your point is lost; just as it is in this article.
For future reference, any article that begins with a disclaimer “I am not those guys”, may be immediately disregarded, as it will only offer platitudes and apologies for any stand that is taken and ends up with having contributing nothing to to conversation.
So according to the article, don’t give into hate, but rise up against the true enemy, the oligarchs. Even the name is intended to dispell any anger; yes, I’m going to the anti oligarchs meeting tonight, care to join me?
So where are we? Now, any stand you take for the white identity will be labeled as a “hater”, that you will not be able to disprove, thanks to the MSM. Or you could rise above the hatred and stand for nothing, as suggested by this article.
So where do we go from here? The take over is going as planned, TPTB have created the narrative that any opposition to the globalists will never be seen as patriots, but as right wing haters; but if you were watching, you knew this was going to happen anyway. The bottom line is to stay true to your convictions, don’t expect to be made a saint and don’t let your fight for what you believe in be diminished by all the Goliath ‘ s who are trying to take you down; keep your sling near, your stones dry and look for other David’s who are like minded.

I have thought about this a lot lately and I agree that we must stick to our convictions as a basis of response in communications with others. I dismiss all references to race, creed, etc in any discussion and focus only on fundamental American principles, such as free speech, right to bear arms, property rights, religious freedom, equal justice under the law, etc. What I see is a concerted effort to eliminate thinking about these fundamental ideals and replace them with emotional and tribal based thinking. If I was an oligarch that is exactly what I would do, enabling people to be controlled much easier.

Question-other than the car ramming incident, which came after the rally was breaking up and is still open to debate as to what the intent was,has anybody seen any violence that was initiated by the legally permitted marchers?

Nope. Not only that, there was just recently a politically motivated murder, assassination attempt, hundreds of bodily assaults, thousands of property damage, overt threats on social media, etc all coming from the left without recourse.

Even Mike is falling for the divide and conquer narrative in his method of trying to virtue signal about not falling for the divide and conquer narrative.

No. But that fact must not be uttered. The violence perpetrated by the left is always excused, minimized, or ignored. Even Trump had to toe the line in his second statement, calling out the white groups by name, but not the others. He folded, as far as I’m concerned.

The only violent act on Saturday by the right was committed by someone who was having their car beat on with bats *before* they had actually made contact with anyone.

However a person with anti-trump signs all over their lawns overtly murders someone in cold blood and… voila… it has nothing to do with his anti-trumpness toward a Republican politician.

People here accepting the left’s method of framing the narrative and trying to prove they are the “good kind of righties” are insane.

1) Even if you hate them, the people at the UTR had a legal permit to exercise their right to protest, that includes the .1% of people flying swastikas out of the entire crowd.
2) Those assaulting them and threatening them had no permit.
3) Those flying swastikas DID NOTHING WRONG. They may be tactically inept, but they did nothing wrong and the thing you are supposedly trying to preserve and defend is their rights… because if *they* can’t display their stuff then YOU can’t either when the left has convinced you it’s ok to punch the nazis.

You folks better get your heads on straight about how smart it is trying to please the left by operating within their frame. You are letting them control you and letting them spin a narrative of nazis on the loose when nothing could be further from the truth and you are falling for their divide and conquer tactic.

If you are at one of these events and someone is flying a swastika, ask them to not do so for tactical reasons… sure… but DO NOT accept the leftist’s crocodile tears and start bending over apologizing and pleading to convince them you’re not “that kind of righty”.

Get it straight… you’re posting on TBP? You are a nazi to them and they WILL NOT STOP until you have granted them the right to silence the trivial minority of nazis and use that against you.

Hell, the leftists are even coming down on Israel for not condemning Unite the Right.
If the damn Jews do not condemn their strongest ally then they deserve what their enemies do to them, right?

I have a lot of customers that drive Dodge and have Tiki torches in their backyards, If I were to follow the lefts illogical train of thought, I must consider and label them all racists, even the Obama lovers, and cancel their accounts with us. Who needs a job anyway? I can just become a paid Craigslist protester and travel the country in a Greyhound.

So strange that all of this bru ha about civil war statues did not happen on Obama’s watch.

It does appear to be perfectly planned an organized, almost like the work of a community organizer.

So, now you know what Obama is doing in retirement.
