Question of the Day, Oct 16

Every day we read about someone in the public sphere raping, pillaging, pedofiling, or just making a general ass of themselves. It begs today’s question, who is there to admire in the public sphere?

Although he is no longer much a political force of any sort I still like and admire Ron Paul.

We used to play smear the queer as kids. That’s the public sphere. Kids “all grown up.” Nothing admirable about it.

Looking at the names on the list: Bill Gates is #1, Bill Clinton #14 – holy fuck people are fucking stupid.

I admire John McCain – cause he’s going to die real soon. May not be buying green bananas.

Too few to admire; too many to despise.

Thanks to your comment, I just noticed it. No idea what caused that.

Edit: Normally, the name defaults to the one last used (I have several that pop up when I put my cursor in the NAME block). So something must have happened.

I admire millions of people daily, those who help charities one way or another whether w rock band doing a benefit or the person who drops a couple of bucks in the SA kettle/folks who try and help lost kids and animals/folks who stop to give a stranger a jump start for their car/folks who cover others with their bodies in times of war or insane shootings/hell,the list is endless.

All these people and their actions are the civility in civilization/the human in the humanity, the people throughout the world who if they did not engage in these actions daily the world would literally be hell on earth if not extinct,we just need more of em,try and be one of em.

Julian Assange, Tom Fitton, James O’Keefe, Edward Snowden and most others that have the nads to put their personal security at risk in order to shine a light on the doings of our criminal government, and their boot-licking, wriggling-squiggling media maggots, for us all to witness.

Ron Paul, PJB, PCR, Greg Hunter, Robert David Steele, Paul Joseph Watson, Brother Nathanael, V Putin, Andrew Maguire and all the Whistleblowers, Benjamin Fulford, Jesse Ventura, Abby Martin, Mike Maloney, and many many more but not one of the MSM, or Federal or University or Hollywood paid professional liars.

Well, it certainly isn’t the guy that traded five top Taliban terrorist detainees at Gitmo and a cool 5 billion for an admitted low life traitor and deserter who now claims he couldn’t get a fair trial because of Trump.

David Clarke, Edward Snowden, Jim Quinn, Wendell Berry, Kevin MacDonald, Joel Salatin.

Every single one of them have taken the risk of social ostracism- if not worse- in order to articulate their unique perspective while going about the business of minding their own.

I admire Carl Sagan, but he’s no longer vertical.
I admire George Carlin, but he’s taking a dirt nap.
And… I dunno who else. It’s hard to admire people in this day and age, because there’s no way of knowing who they really are (until they’re caught) and nobody seems to be worth the trust you repose in them.

My list is Ed Snowden, Ron Paul, and Julian Assange. I think I might admire Glenn Greenwald, but I’m not sure.
