It appears that advertisers believed viewers needed a break from politically oriented messages, and settled more for heartstrings, humor, and ….. DIVERSITY. Yeah!

5)- You wanna know what’s wrong with ‘Murica? Look no further than #StinkyShitCheeseKraft. Kraft offered up photos — submitted by viewers during the game — that showed an array of gay parents, straight couples and single dads of all races topped with the line “there is no one right way to family.” I would appreciate if one of you TBPers would send Kraft this short letter (I’m swamped today);

6)- This ad tosses the most direct barb at President Donald Trump. The hair products company called It’s a 10 went after the President’s infamous hair with a warning to Americans that the next four or more years may be filled with awful hair. They encourage everyone – with every type of hair, anywhere on the body (I may actually buy this product since I have a patch of hair circling my asshole. Maybe now I can shape it into something nice and pretty …. for bb) – to accept all the different kind of hair there is and make it as beautiful as possible. Their message? Good hair is important no matter who you are or what you look like.
[Note: Budweiser also aired a politically oriented commercial. It showed the immigration story of Budweiser’s founder and his pursuit of the American dream. Yippee. If we only let in more Mooslims we could have Moohamfuk Beer!]
7)- Lastly, there is the King of Diversity: Coke. This year they regaled us with more of their happy-happy-joy-joy bullshit with– “The Wonder of Us.” The ad is a celebration of diversity and inclusion and emphasizes the uniqueness of each person in the world. “The Wonder of Us’ celebrates the things that make us unique and reminds us that there’s a Coke for each and every one of us,” said Stuart Kronauge, senior vice president of marketing.

Good Lord, I soooo LOATHE that company. You know how many cokes I drink per YEAR? A six-pack, or less. And, even then, I rarely drink the entire can. Why? Because of the picture below. Folks ….
