Why do kids even have backpacks? They used to be only for hiking/camping and we had to use our hands and arms to carry books around in school. Oh, I know, they need their hands free to text on their phones…..

They have to have something to keep their snacks in.

Nope, they have to carry 20 pound text books around. Do you have kids?

Schools are public buildings. I was searched entering the county courthouse. I had a small leatherman multi-tool as my ‘key fob’. I had to surrender it even though it had, at most, a two inch blade. I said it was just a tool to which the security guard put his hand on his sidearm and said ‘so is this’.

A backpack can conceal far more lethal weaponry so, David Hogg, enjoy what you have wrought. I’m sure your fellow students will enjoy it.

Should women be allowed to wear more than presented in the photo below? There’s no telling what they might be hiding otherwise. I mean, this is about safety, ya know. OK, OK, dudes too :(.

How are you going to get adults to not give a damn about their own privacy unless you destroy the concept of privacy when they are children. All part of a bigger plan, being disguised, as always, as “keep the children safe.”

Ya, thats the end game. Same with the TSA. Everyone knows they are a joke at best, and worse than useless at worst since they provide a false sense of security. But, it teaches everyone that travels to obey the government worker, submit to authority, stand in line like sheep, etc. My generation (Im 33) is the last one in America that will remember what it was like to not have to deal with that shit when flying. Anyone younger than that probably never experienced it.

Kids having to wear backpacks to school at all is just part of the indoctrination process, along with the rote homework assignments…Neither should exist…Do your routine work in school, and don’t drag books around.

They probably are not teaching the kids about electronic privacy, either. Might hurt Zuckerburg’s/Facebook’s/Twitter’s/etc.’s ability to monitize your personal information (their fundamental business model).

Pass this along, if you happen to know anyone in a totalitarian police state.

I find it rich that David Hogg bemoans the clear backpack on 1st amendment grounds.

Yet, just can’t quite put together the fact he is calling for the repeal of the 2nd amendment.

I would be amazed if David Hogg could spell the word “repeal” properly and use it in a sentence – who takes history in school these days?
Asked to list the Bill of Rights, I can only imagine what lame reply he would give.
