An Open Letter to West Virginians

Guest Post by Southern Sage

This November West Virginians, like all other Americans, will cast votes in what is probably the most important election in our lifetime.  2016 was, of course, a turning point but 2018 will decide whether the last chance we have to turn this country around will continue or if Trump will be just a footnote in history.  If the Congress is lost and the Democrats regain power our country is irretrievably lost.  The treasonous conspiracy to destroy the America our ancestors built will triumph and our descendants will curse us for the fools we were in throwing away the last, best hope of mankind.  Some of you may view this view as alarmist but it is cold, hard fact.  The Democratic Party of 2018 is not the party of 1930, 1950, 1960, or even of 1990.  It is under the control of a gang of cynical, evil men and women who propose to install in our beloved country a government, laws, and a society utterly alien to America and repugnant to the vast majority of Americans.

The backgrounds of creatures such as Valerie Jarrett – the daughter of Communists and the mentor of  Obama – should be enough to open the eyes of any adult American.  And Obama himself?  The very first political event ever held for him was hosted by the notorious Communist terrorist and murderer Bill Ayers and his wife, like him a terrorist.  Do you think it was an accident that the loathsome John Brennan, former CIA director and now mainstream media talking head, was an accident?  Brennan, a leftist fanatic, boasts of voting for the Communist Party of the USA in 1976.  Don’t think that the fall of the Berlin Wall had the least effect on the minds of these true believers in a false and monstrous god, the god of Marx and Lenin.

Of course, they are far too clever to admit their true beliefs.  They demonstrate their absolute contempt for you by pretending to be “Progressives” rather than what they really are, the Domestic Enemy named in our Constitution.  How many Americans alive today know that the term “Progressive”, first used in the early 20th century by American reformers, was in fact adopted by the Communists when their true name became odious to all civilized human beings.  Today’s “Progressives” are the direct descendants, literal or political, of the disloyal and credulous Americans who allowed themselves to be used as Stalin’s puppets in the 1930’s and 1940’s.

The fact that most people who call themselves Democrats are God-fearing, patriotic, decent Americans can in no way change the brutal truth that the party they vote for is in the hands of a cabal that hates this country and wishes to see it transformed into a hideous parody of the great nation bequeathed to us by the Founding Fathers.   The good people who call themselves Democrats are lending their names, their honor and their vote to people who will gleefully destroy all that those good people believe in.

I have no brief for much of the Republican Party.  It has revealed itself to have a hard core of unprincipled, greedy, foolish, cowardly opportunists who are nothing more than shills for the donor class of millionaires and billionaires.  These are the soulless men and women who have stabbed President Trump in the back at every opportunity so their wealthy donors can continue to import cheap labor to drive down the  wages of American workers, not even caring that they are active participants in the vile plans of the Democrats to change the demographic texture of our country by importing the paupers of the world, willing serfs who will remember who allowed them to mock our laws and enjoy the benefits meant for our own children.

Make no mistake.  Beyond simply using these economic migrants to retain political power, there are large sectors of the Democratic Party consciously carrying out a war against the core population of the country.  They seek to generate even more racial and ethnic hatred.  We all know how well they have succeeded.

That said, the American people have no vehicle other than the Republican Party to save this country, as imperfect and, indeed, corrupt as it certainly is.  To those who argue that one should vote for the “best” man or woman, I have to reply, yes, under ordinary circumstances that is true.  We are not in ordinary times.  By voting to put a Democrat – any Democrat – in office, you are lending your support to the national leaders of the Democrat Party described above.  It does not matter that the particular Democratic candidate in your district is a “good” person.

The objective truth is that this “good” person is a tool and weapon in the hands of the Schumer’s, Pelosi’s, of Luis Gutierrez, of Keith Ellison, of De Blasio, of their backers, like Robert De Niro and the rest of the Hollywood idiot chorus, and of the leftist media, that has lied to this country without pause for more than fifty years.  Yes, voting for that “good” Democrat is the same as voting to put the worst elements in this country in power.

Many of you may have doubts about President Trump.  Leaving aside the outrageous bias of the news media, which has twisted his every word and denigrated his every accomplishment, I understand.  There are probably not a dozen people in this country who imagined 20, or even ten, years ago that Donald Trump would be president.  It surely never occurred to me.  He was a controversial businessman, a show business figure, and a man with taste for pretty women; that was about the extent of my knowledge of the man.

When he first emerged out of the swamp of listless Republican primary candidates I first took him to be merely an entertaining addition to a boring collection of mostly has-beens.  This changed soon enough, when he proved to have a backbone of steel and an astute and shrewd understanding of the political process, coupled with the moral courage to go where no American politician had gone in decades. He earned the seething hatred and scorn of the governing class but the people understood that here, finally, was somebody who told it like it was and did not give a damn about the consequences.

True, his personality, his Tweets, his rapid shifts in tactics, his bluntness, and even his hair style, were astonishing to most Americans and most of the world.  But he was elected and more than any other president in modern times has at least tried to keep his promises, against the furious opposition of the Progressive conspirators and his own largely disloyal party, not to mention the rest of the leftist lunatic fringe across the country.

There was one group, however, that was not astonished by Trump – the hard core Progressive leaders.  They had feared the coming of a man like him for a long time, hoping that they would be able to consolidate their power before it happened.  Hillary Clinton, the sour, arrogant, incompetent, entitled candidate of their movement was to have made irreversible the illegal, unconstitutional and un-American actions of Obama.  Trump’s election snatched victory from their very jaws of these jackals.  Their rage knew no bounds.  Many of them went insane literally before our eyes.  Their “Progressive” nightmare was stopped in its tracks by one man and the American people, by the slimmest of margins.

They resolved then and there to do anything to stop Trump from governing and, hopefully, to remove him from power, either through a legal process of impeachment (in fact virtually impossible because of Republican control of Congress) or through illegal means.  This included the bogus accusations of “collusion” with Vladimir Putin’s Russia, a contention so absurd on its face that the fact that some Americans took it seriously is merely proof of how debased and ridiculous our national political life has become.  The pathetic figure of Robert Mueller will one day adorn our national garbage can, a dirty cop who betrayed his country and the law.

West Virginians, do not let a personal aversion to the personality or the style of President Trump lead you to vote against the interests of your country.  Whatever you may think of him, it should be clear that the election of Hillary Clinton would have ended with the absolute corruption of all of our institutions of government.

And what of the campaign of a gentleman named Richard Ojeda in the 3rd Congressional District of your state?  One could be forgiven for thinking that the election of one congressman is hardly the stuff that needs to draw national attention.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Mr. Ojeda’s campaign is vital, and it s vital that he be defeated.

On the face of it, this should not be the case.  I have no reason to believe that Ojeda is anything other than what he says he is, a patriotic, honest, well-meaning American, a veteran who served this country honorably, gallantly and with distinction.  Mr. Ojeda makes no secret of the fact that his grandfather was an illegal immigrant from Mexico and his own father, born in the U.S., moved to Mexico and lived there for a few years.  Nor should he make it a secret.  He is not responsible for his grandfather’s choices and, even if he was, his service to our country should erase any questions about them.  Mr. Ojeda says he was born into a “Democratic family”, an issue familiar to me.  My grandfather, who I never knew, was a “Red-Suspendered Talmadge Man” and Democratic Party ward heeler in Georgia.  I get it.

Mr. Ojeda’s positions on the issues are hardly radical, though his support for Bernie Sanders, an amusing if abrasive Socialist crackpot out of Vermont by way of Brooklyn, New York, makes one pause and think.  He has worked to help the poor, children and elderly, surely a noble undertaking.  He definitely supports the working man, as he sees it.  And he actually supported President Trump in the 2016 election, a fact that shows that he is a Democrat of rare moral courage.  An unusual man, Richard Ojeda, to be sure, and in other circumstances the kind of maverick and straight-shooting person we need in Congress.  But not this year.  You must vote against him even if, to paraphrase the Southern Democrats of the post-Civil war era, you have to vote for a yellow dog.

This is the real issue.  The calculating gang of pseudo-Marxist subversives who control the Democratic Party know full well that Trump, for all his faults, has tapped into something huge in the American psyche.  They know that millions of Americans who opposed him in the last election grudgingly admit that, his foibles notwithstanding, Trump loves our country, is trying to do what he said he would do and is far more intelligent than his opponents.  They are perhaps willing to give him a chance.  As for his base, they remain rock solid.  This spells disaster for them and they know it.  Eight years of Trump, possibly followed by eight of Vice President Pence, will mean the definitive end of the Progressive conspiracy.

American will never be transformed into a mere geographical expression, without a people, without a history, without the rule of law, without patriotism, without a shred of pride or power in the world.  This is what they want and they will never get it.  Even if they do manage to mount an illegal coup against Trump it is too late for them – the American people are no longer asleep.  They will never be able to creep into power like a thief in the night, as they planned.  They will be met by patriots with weapons in their hands.  America may be destroyed but it will never be enslaved by these creatures.  Of course, this fact will not stop them from trying.

Acting with the guile, complete lack of honor and total cynicism which their type are justly famous for, the Democrat leaders have grasped at a desperate tactic.  They know now that real Americans reject their aims, their means, and most Democratic leaders.  This being the case, they have no choice but to adopt measures as dishonest as any ever used in the history of our country.

The American people honor and revere the men and women who wear or who have worn our country’s uniform, as well they should.  Knowing this, the Democrats have combed the country with a fine-toothed comb to find the handful of veterans who support their party.  They have carefully groomed them, financed them, and pushed them forward as the “new face” of the Democratic Party.  Seeking to profit from the honorable service of these decent if misguided dupes, the Democrats are attempting to wrap themselves in a flag for which they have nothing but contempt.  The vast majority of these “military Democrats” are simply unsophisticated, naïve, and unreflective.  A few are witting and willing tools of the Democratic cabal, resentful, ambitious, or stirred by racial and ethnic hatreds.

I am sure most of these veterans are well-meaning and sincerely believe that they can serve the American people by gaining election to Congress.  Few have anything in common with the radicals who really control the party and most know almost nothing about them, a situation the party leaders surely intend to maintain.

The ugly fact is that if elected they will have no power at all and they will be coerced to vote for the most extreme and repugnant measures the party leaders can dream up.   They will be the object of secret sneers and chuckles on the part of the real Democrats, who have nothing but disdain for them and their kind.  They will be looked upon exactly as a New York con man looks upon a rube just in from the farm.

Putting them in power is not an expression of local support or a vote for a “good” man or woman.  It is a fatal miscalculation that will do nothing but harm our country.

I should end by pointing out another thing that should cause all of you to think.  Military service, as I have said, confers great honor upon the veteran.  There is no shame in not serving as long as you do not break the law by evading it.  No man or woman is under any obligation to volunteer, though they must answer the call if it comes through lawful authority.  Our country is not a club you can simply opt out of because you disagree with the political class in power.  I served during the Obama regime, though I considered him to be an illegitimate usurper (I had personal knowledge that he was, but I do not want to discuss it here).  That said, my personal opinion apart, it never occurred to be to do anything but carry out my duties to the best of my abilities in obedience to what our leaders accepted as lawful authority.

I volunteered for military service, served honorably, and went on to other things.  I am proud of my service but I do not wear it on my sleeve.  Neither should anybody else.  John McCain, believed by some to be a “hero” of the Vietnam War, has shamelessly used his military service and his status as a former POW to garner support and to silence his critics.  The truth is that there are many questions about his service, his use of the influence of his father to advance his career, and his conduct as a POW.  The vast majority of the POW’s of the Vietnam War bore their hardships with courage and dignity, never seeking to profit from their service.  The same cannot be said of McCain and it is no coincidence that he is among those who have done the most to sabotage the presidency of Trump, siding with the most disreputable and sinister people in this country.

Those who serve are the best of our nation, but not every man in uniform is a hero or even a patriot.  Patriotism does not start when you put it on and does not end when you take it off.  Honorable service in the military means very little if you later fail to walk the path of the true patriot.  The sad story of John McCain is proof enough of that.

It is clear that Mr. Ojeda and the other “military Democrats” hope to attract the support of American patriots by highlighting their military service, thus hiding the fact that their election will do nothing but bolster the power of the Democrat leaders, who are anything but patriots.  The use of these men and women – however well-intentioned they may be as individuals – is merely a smokescreen for a political program that is deeply anti-American and foreign to our history, customs, laws, and traditions.  There is nothing “American” about the so-called “Progressives”.

Americans, including all West Virginians, must reject this sordid and grotesque attempt to gain votes by playing on the admiration our people feel for those who have served in our military.  We all know what the Democratic Party really represents and it is nothing honorable, decent or American.

Richard Ojeda may well be a truly good man.  If so, and if he can’t bring himself to support Trump or the Republicans, he should run as an independent.  By lending his name and his honorable military service to the Democrats he is failing his country.  West Virginians should understand this and they should vote accordingly.

SS may have come unglued with the IG Report; very understandable and most critical thinkers would be highly ticked off.
This is a refreshing take on why not to vote for a seemingly good guy; I agree.

Actually I have paid no intention to the IG report or, really, to the antics of Mueller. Having gone through both FBI and IG investigations I have no time for that nonsense. I am, however, deeply angered by Democrats leaders pretending to love this country.

There are many people, in leadership and on the street, that claim to love this country but only see it as evil and never even admit to the good it stands for and brings.

I moved to West “by God” Virginia over 40 years ago, after working and traveling in Euroland for a year and later traveling throughout North America for another year, from DC to Vancouver, BC to the Florida Keys and I decided to stay in WV. I used to resent inane jokes like yours. Now I just think “Thank you”. This is still a beautiful place when you get away from the desolation of coal country in the southwestern counties. Most people here are friendly, hard working, have their teeth, and will have your back in hard times. And, we don’t need any yahoos like you moving in, so again, Thanks.

There is no difference between (R) and (D).

(R) is controlled by the same “cynical, evil men and women who propose to install in our beloved country a government, laws, and a society utterly alien to America and repugnant to the vast majority of Americans.”

Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Romney et al are traitors and no less evil than collectivists biden, cuntlary, pelosi, schumer, little barry sotero and the rest.

Move beyond the left/right dialectic. Expose the tyrannical globalist one-worlders.

There IS a difference between tyranny and freedom.

I get it, friend. Unfortunately there is no viable anti-globalist party. As dubious as it is, the Republican Party is the only game in town. Hide out in a log cabin if you will but don’t pretend you are doing the right thing for your country.

I would adjust your statement to: “There is no difference between (R) and (D) – in Washington DC!”

Out in the real world, the (R)’s see what’s been happening to this country for decades, while the (D)’s say and think whatever CNN, Hollywood tell them.

There are a very few (R)’s in DC who show signs of goodness – Paul, Gowdy come to mind.

We missed a HUGE chance with Ron Paul in 2012, so now Trump is probably our last chance to change this insanity they call, ‘Progressive.’

I don’t think the republican party wanted to win, nor do I think they want to be in power. I think most of them, especially the names you mentioned, are more comfortable being the minority party. Safely taking shots at the left, promising the moon to their voters, but, so sorry, we aren’t in power, so we can’t actually do any of these things. Maybe after the next election, please send your donations to this address. When they are in control of both houses of congress, people start getting pissed off that they haven’t done anything they promised.

The get where the OP is coming from, and in some ways he is right, but things like this play a large part of why the GOP sucks so bad. “Sure, the GOP is terrible, but you still need to go vote for whatever shitbird is running in your district, because the democrats are even worse”. To the politicians, this just signals that they are free to continue pissing down our backs while telling us its raining. They know they don’t have to actually do anything their voters want, especially if such things would run contrary to what their donors/owners want. All they have to do is talk a big game while being slightly less bad the the dems. Thats a pathetically low bar, too. But, they know thats the key to success. And people like most of us on here still show up and vote for them. Until such a time as enough of us on the right are willing to hold their feet to the fire, even if it means staying home and letting them lose, thats not going to change.

Gun rights are a big one to me. One of the biggest reasons I still vote for these scumbags is because at least in most cases they won’t pass anything that further restricts the 2A. But just not doing any more damage to something shouldn’t be all you have to do to get elected. They easily have the votes to pass legislation removing suppressors from the NFA. Trump said he’d sign such a law if it made it to his desk, but they haven’t done shit. Trump even moved to ban bump stocks. They are going to have to do better than this.

Fuck that bullshit. Lawful authority my fat ass. I am a lawful citizen as best I can be. But that is fucked up and bullshit. Since when is being drafted and sent to a foreign war created by these assholes something that any young person should abide by or agree to do? No one should answer that call. What the fuck is wrong with you? On the one hand, you acknowledge the corruption of these assholes, and on the other you want to grant them the right to drag a person off to fight in a foreign war.

If someone is invading the US, I would recommend all able bodied come to its defense. But the US is now a war-mongering aggressor, and any attempt to draft Americans needs to be resisted.

I love this country and will continue to believe in it and obey its laws until there is no hope and it collapses. We are a long way from that, I believe. I do not enjoy living through this mess any motebthan you do but I will not give up and drown myself in bitterness. My ancestors went through worse in the Ameticsn Revolution and Civil War. And you, C C Rider, go ahead, give up, go sulk, don’t vote. And when Obama II – there will be one if we do not seize this one chance – you and those like you will one day realize what you helped do to your country.

SS – no one is asking you to turn your back. I believe you are a patriot. But to suggest that people should obey a draft order is lunacy given the motives of the govt in these matters cannot be trusted.

I think you are mistaken re the collapse. I believe it has already largely collapsed. When the govt can seize your assets without due process, it has collapsed. When cops can and do kill citizens with impunity it has collapsed. When politicians can commit crimes and never be prosecuted it has collapsed. When an un-repayable debt has been accumulated, it has collapsed. When assets are forceably stripped from productive citizens and redistributed to the unproductive, it has collapsed. When the judiciary makes decisions based solely on political ideologies, like the 9th circuit court, it has collapsed. When states openly defy the laws of the nation and get away with it, it has collapsed. When illegal immigrants enter with impunity, and are allowed to stay, it has collapsed. When the president of the country says take the guns first and worry about the legality of doing it later, it has collapsed.

For me, America is comprised of its people and the Constitution. A great many people are not my compatriots, for sure and certain. A majority of the people do not understand what the Constitution is, and many would like to see its provisions eliminated. And the Constitution seems no longer to be in force in many instances – the first, second, fourth fifth, eighth and tenth amendments especially are under attack, and the 16th is an abomination and is being used to attack the people. Seems to me that the collapse is well underway.

After Vietnam, the entire purpose of war changed didn’t it? Instead of defending our way of life from the Communist infiltrators, we decided to go on the offense with American freedom and there are McDonald’s wrappers and Pepsi cans in the desert.

We stopped fighting tyranny in the form of collectivism and started loving the idea of goals for “mankind.” But “mankind” can’t feed a single hungry child without EGO.

This is why I can’t sit and read a really thought-provoking post at daybreak, when the birds start chirping and remind me my own chickens are locked inside without even a window, like kulaks in the gulags while the communists starved. The kulaks, formerly known as soldiers for the communists, farmed the agricultural regions for centuries until the communists seized their homes, land and equipment and re-distributed them to other “owners” of the means of production.

Then, the kulaks discovered they had switched sides while at war, returning to their farmlands to find other communists living in their homes. War. What is it good for again, Bruce?

Final edit: So, the new owners of production didn’t have the sense to go let the animals out of their safe shelters (from those stinkin’ coyotes!) and they starved.

One of your best SS. Both parties leave a bad taste in my mouth but the D party are the Marxists. I am amazed that in my adulthood since Carter was president that the Republican party hasn’t broken it off in the Democrat party’s ass every time they are in power. The D’s break it off every chance they get. Shame on the Repubs for not fighting as hard against the Democrats as they are fought against. In Colorado the unaffiliated get both democrat and republican ballots to select one party of their choice for the first time in the primary. It is a small but necessary step. When a democrat says bipartisan to a republican it means bend over.

Consider it random, not dis-whatver

It will collapse with-in 10 years.

Not all Americans! You commie! One step forward and one step backward but mostly backword by design. From now on Trump and swamp creatures like it will always be set of numbers in our footnote. Flag cloth. Heroes murderers. Country corporation. Society unreality. Our descendants will curse us for murderering the planet and raping its corpse. Public needles service. Khazars both sides. White House controls liberal media since 2012. I love alarmist because flying results in crashing. SO FIGHT! I heard you had an earthquake, send us your Plutonium. I am tired of -IST bickering. When Kim says American democracy is nothing more than a rotten society, he has a point. Unabomber called is Power Process. Clunkers for Clunkers. Fuckcop fatal accident – double wammy! Morals remain the same, never progress. Child harvesting. Strategic Pukes. Imperfect hope for perfection. Behold Summit, 63 billions years worth of human calculation in one second, just one sec… Send us your Plutonium. God-fearing? All I see is Death-fearing. Mars will be better. Poop on my veggies. Veggies on my poop. Prozac in my fish sticks. Who the fuck are the Founding Fathers? Is that like a Hallmark card? Trump doesn’t have a soul, he doesn’t need one, he has money. Everyone Supremacy. Zionist Cummunists verses Zionist Nationalists? Makes no fucking sense to me! De Niro probably sexed a minor, but I agree with him. FUCK TRUMP. Ronald Reagan 2.0. Hopium are for chumps. Paul Wellstone for President! Get a hold of yourself man! Everything is a Psyop! 44th signed the law and 45th is taking full advantage. It runs so deep that even swamp creatures don’t know! Even the shooters don’t know who shot Kennedy! Worse than Watergate bargin sale! Stealing shit and obstructing justice? Those were the good ole days! Fuckcops everywhere! Round trip tickets to IDF! Trump loves money, he knows the numbers, he doesn’t like America as much, so he’s buying more guns. A mere 200 year history and so proud, mostly because we murdered a bunch of people. Why should I donate a buck to place a flag cloth at the cemetary? They already have my $1.2 trillion and $20 trillion that I never had. The push for glory by them is a time of contemplation for you. It MUST! What they are really, or what you should call them is Right-Wing neoliberals. Democrats? No. FUCK A UNIFORM. FUCK YOUR BADGE. FUCK MAD DOG. THEY ARE COMMITTING SUICIDES BY THE BOATLOADS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Stand athwart history and yell STOP! Is a prerequisite for US politicians to rape a minor and have it recorded by Mossad? Here’s an idea – a golden golf course inside the greatest hotel in the world! The best! Just don’t look at the seemingly empty malls. I am tired, very tired. One thing is for certain. All of the mind control and drugging was beta tested on soilders. Now we are all in it together. Don’t vote. Assist the terminal ill America. Put it out of its misery. In pursuit of happiness was flawed from the beginning.

Sort of like Beat poetry… from when we were just out of duck and cover mode, but still afraid, very afraid that the Soviets would kill us all, bombing North Korea into the Stone Age…etc. WTF, life is still grand if you let it be so.

I hate to break your eggs, but in the State of West Virginia Joe Manchin will probably be reelected to the Senate. My fellow Kentuckian, a known lowlife by the name of Mitch McConnell, stuck his nose and PAC money into the WV Republican Primary and got his man, a New Jorsey Carpetbagger by the name of Patrick Morissey nominated. McConnell’s interference so poisoned the atmosphere with so many bad feelings that many Republicans there will not vote for Mitch’s Carpetbagger. Period. Even I would vote for Manchin if I had to make the choice. Many are already saying that at least Manchin is a fellow born West Virginian, and not one of McConnell’s Bitches. West Virginia overwhelmingly voted for Trump and this was from a state once controlled by Democrats for over 86 years. Mr. Trump knew what McConnell was doing and should have told him to mind his own fucking business. He didn’t, and now a once very vulnerable Democrat will likely be reelected to the Senate.

Just like that loser in Alabama that McConnell elected by working against Roy Moore. Are we sure McConnell isn’t a Democratic plant in the Repub party, a mole, a defector? His attitude / planning / actions certainly are defective!
I just cast a vote for Kennedy, the guy opposing Mittens in Utah this cycle in the Repub primary. Whether or not he wins, I will know that at least I didn’t support the openly globalist Romney to become a carpetbagger here in Utah. I doubt there’s a chance in hell that the Democrat can win, but if Kennedy loses I will vote for an independent before I support Romney for Senate.

SS

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your article. It and the ensuing comments illuminate the great conundrum of our times.

All I know for sure is that the best friend the Democratic Party has is the GOP. Death to them both.

Mattis just made a comment that Putin is trying to undermine “America’s moral authority.”

What in the hell is he talking about? I respect Mattis as he has a load to carry in that clown car with bolton, pompeo, et al and he may have been forced to utter such nonsense.

BUT, America has long since lost any semblence of moral authority!

America has had no “moral authority” since the war of inland piracy (or whatever you care to call it). No real freedom, either.

Sigh. Nobody remembers “indefinite detention without charges”? ALL of the government is so far beyond the Constitution or Bill Of Rights, republic or any vestige of freedom at all that any vote for any of these swine sodomizers is merely signing your consent to be enslaved. Have a little pride, stop acting as if you are anything other than a slave. I don’t advocate a slave revolt-I’m happy to watch the show from the sidelines as the idiots long ago shot themselves in the head, now stumbling around as zombies. Enjoy your delusions, but the USS Titanic has already been taking on water.

Read this yesterday but was not able to comment at the time. Read it again today and just wanted to say “thanks”. It was a poignantly persuasive plea, and first-rate rant, all wrapped up by a bunch of eloquence.

Bush Sr. was our best hope, Bob dole was our best hope, Bush Jr was our best hope, Mc cain was our best hope, Mittens Romney was our best hope, Trump was our best hope, 2018 is our last bestest hope. Just hold our noses and Puke while we vote for our last best hope once again. “Don’t throw your vote away” on independents and libertarians. In the meantime when they had the House, Senate and White house under Bush Jr. and Trump they can’t even muster the courage to end something as barbaric as Partial Birth Abortion. Has anyone watched a Live video of a 7 or 8 mo. abortion?
What they could muster the courage for was the Patriot Act, Homeland Security, TSA, The Iraq war, Troops guarding the largest Opium fields on the planet, The equipping and militarization of our police forces, The astronomical defense budget so big they can’t find 2.5 trillion of it and then an astronomical increase last year. Have I left anything out?
A day and a half ago I thought maybe I was wrong and should reconsider my stance but now I’m getting the sense that its just Jonestown Lite.
And its one two three four, what are we fightin for, don’t ask me I don’t give a damn, next stop is Vietnam.

First, I really enjoyed the article.

Second, you didn’t convince me. My vote for Trump was only the third time I ever voted in a presidential election. I voted for Donald for three reasons, and he either failed or lied about all three. They’re ALL fucken’ liars. I will probably never vote again.

Third, I see your call to vote R as a capitulation. You do a great job calling out the evil Dems … but, you also admit that the Repubs are just about as bad — but, endorse voting for them anyway. Choosing the lessor of two evils is still choosing evil. I believe that’s factual and not debatable.

In conclusion, when you vote, you are just voting for your own demise.

ocoalclinker–Ojeda is running to fill Evan Jenkins seat i the House of Representatives. He is not running against Man-boy Manchin.

For fhose of you that think Man-boy Manchin is going to get re-elected you are not up to date on what is going in the Mountineer state.

1. Man-boy Manchin said he was against Obamacare and then he voted for it.

2. He said he supported the second amendment and cast votes with the demon-rats to further regulate and prevent gun ownership.

3. He only won by a slim margin in the last election. It was less than 5% if i remember correctly.

4. His daughter is the reason Epi-pens that are used for allergies went $50.00 to over$400.00. Plus she was.given a MBA degree from WVU without attending all her classes. Also, her company just laid off 400 workers to improve her companies bottom line. The layoff came as a complete surprize. I am waiting for her get a pay raise from this acton. btw she makes 17 million a year now.

5. He.is currently involved in some shady dealings on a hotel property in Morgantown with a lawyer friend of his.

i could go and on with more but i will stop there. He is a turd sucking ass-O in this state and everyone knows it He is going to spend alot of money in this race to keep his seat but he could spend the entire 15 million in his warchest and that still will not enough to polish this turd(Manchin)enough for the citizens of WV to send him back to DC.

One last point, this state is turning republican just in case you were unaware. The governor, and both the state Senate and House of Representatives ate now controlled the GOP. Hasnt been that way for over 70 years.

Now calm your tits, we have it under control.
