Hey Llpoh, you’re lucky you’re in the other end of town from where the salties live. When I was wading around my place last year after Hurricane Irma at night with a headlight, all I could think about was fucking crocodiles. It was pretty damn creepy. We get little ones every once in awhile, they aren’t quite as mean as the ones in Australia. And a gator killed a lady a couple months ago right up the road. I saw that gator a couple of times, it was a monster.

I have said this before. Some folks have to learn by experience. You can tell them not to pick up the cat by the tail, but they just gotta find out why for themselves. Same goes for a lot of noobs. You tell them best not to poke the bears, but nope, they poke away anyway.
