Llpoh: Get Out While You Can

I am currently stateside. It has been a few years, and I had to take care of some business. My wife and I have revisited some of our favorite spots, and caught up with some family. We have driven through some of God’s finest works. There is no more beautiful landscape anywhere on earth than the west coast, Route 66, southern Colorado, the Badlands, etc.

That said, I say this most sincerely, and with great sorrow. Those of you who can, get out now.

What I have seen leads me to depression, and there is no road back for the US, in my opinion.

The blinkered people, the tax collectors roadside (police everywhere collecting taxes), the tax collecting at every opportunity, the welfare state, the severe drop in service at restaurants, the tattoos, the green hair, the lard-asses everywhere, the severe over-population of great swathes of the country, the hideous media out only to inflame, and not to report, the aged and infirm working at whatever jobs they can find, the homeless everywhere, the beggars, the filth roadside, the severe health issues seen at every turn (people everywhere too fat to walk, carrying oxygen, diabetes inflicted, toothless), casinos one after another, hideous roads, etc. ad naseum, lead me to but one conclusion: the US is fucked. It grieves me to say it. It disgusts me to see it.

Of all of these things, the most serious is the blinkered people. They have no insight, no curiosity, no sense of understanding of the world, no vision of anything outside their tiny bubble of existence.

There are far too many people. California has 40 million, almost double that of Australia, which is more or less the size of the lower 48. I struggle to breathe around such masses.

I can feel the desperation wherever I go, but the people cannot see that they cause their own issues by living far beyond their means, with leased cars and pickups, and mortgaged to the hilt.

I spoke with many relying on pensions, who do not realize the precariousness of their positions. I ask how well funded are their plans, and they stare at me mouths agape, unable to even grasp the question.

I spoke to many business owners, who are so angry it defies belief. To a man, they are wanting to throw in the towel. Government has choked them to death, and dealing with employees is killing them day by day. One has seven lawsuits going, and has been sued 25 times. He services equipment for other companies. Whenever an idiot maims someone with the equipment he services, he gets roped into the lawsuit. The equipment never fails, but some idiot, not employed by him, runs over someone, and he gets sued, guilty by association.

The immigration policy of the US is helping destroy the country. As a reference point, Australia takes a couple hundred thousand immigrants a year, talent based. Talent based. Compare that to the US insanity.

On and on it goes.

So I say this. Get out if  you can. I recommend New Zealand or Australia. Others might recommend somewhere else. These countries have issues, but they are a few decades behind those that the US has. If not that, then if possible move away from the big cities.

I am sorry it has come to this.

LLpoh – I’ve seen a lot of your posts over the years, but I’ve never seen one before so nakedly alarming.

I agree with everything but the Australia/ New Zealand part, they’re all part of the Five Eyes.

After three scouting tips out of the country, we plan to leave next spring or summer, I agree. I haven’t completely given up hope for America, it’s a country with a lot going for it, but the corruption that has overwhelmed it has become the dominant burden. I think that will not be reversed in my lifetime.

Enjoy your visit with your family while you’re here.

The ongoing housing bubble in Australia will crash and make the 2006-12 implosion in the U.S. look minor in comparison. I can’t imagine this will be positive for Australia, especially considering that Australia has financialized their economy even more than the U.S. has. There is virtually zero manufacturing there, where it once had a large electronics industry. What industries do they have other than selling iron ore to China, tourism and living off of an epic real estate bubble?

In NZ, there is zero right to armed self-defense; if you shoot a criminal, a jury/judge may or may not convict you, but the police and prosecutors will most certainly put you through the ringer.

NZ is said to have the “most lax” firearms laws in the Commonwealth; a citizen may own suppressed full-auto if he can pass a background check for a firearms license, and find/afford what he wants; oddly, actually firing a weapon full-auto remains illegal! FWIW, suppressors are readily available at a modest cost.

He has a point. If/when China stops printing money to build nonsense, The Aussie economy will tank. Yes, Australia exports food, among other things, but it is heavily dependent on China buying raw materials. Since China is heavily dependent on the house of cards borrow/print mantra of the world today, that makes Australia vulnerable.

Having said that, you sound pretty self sufficient down there, and I agree with everything you say about the US. Although in the long run Australia and NZ might be just as fucked as the rest of us, they are at least a couple decades behind the US when it comes to the deliberate destruction of their countries via immigration.

No open carry, no concealed carry. No shooting in self defense even at home. Handguns in some states can not be kept at home at all, you must be a member of a pistol club and leave them there. Single shot rifles, not semi auto are allowed, no pump action shotguns. More bans on more things all the time. As it is, in some states, you can only keep a rifle if you have a rural property and a pest problem of the furred or feathered type. Getting caught with any empty shell or cartridge is a 3000$ fine per empty casing. Remember that when firing out of the cab or off the bed of anyones 4×4/pickup.

LLPOH, I agree with much of your assessment of US problems, and I think CW2 is now on the fast track.

HOWEVER, I am not convinced that life would be better somewhere else for any significant length of time. Australia is suffering similar globalist pressures as the USA, and it is much closer to China with little ability to defend itself if imperial-commie China decides to say “mine!” Not that I can guarantee that the US would win against China today, but I think the odds are far better.

There is a globalist sickness sweeping much of the world today. Among quasi-western countries, Hungary alone appears to be immune. Poland, Czechia, Italy, Norway and Denmark are all resisting to various but limited extents, while the rest of the “civilized, western” world is enthralled. No doubt the US is sick and conflict is here and likely deepening, but short of moving to Hungary I’m unconvinced that anywhere else is safe while having any value set I’m at all interested in.

YMMV. Good luck.

Amen, brother. I think we are getting closer and closer to the match being struck. However, to God a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. Point is, the decline could go on incrementally for a long long time. I starting to wonder if they even have to bother collapsing the economy to get what they want. We are a nation of anesthetized sheeple. I could go on but, I don’t have the energy.

The control is not as tight as the globalists would like. “Globalists”, of course, is an acceptable-in-polite-company way of saying “jews”. For example, I think they lost control of the process with the Internet. Seems to me the number of woken sheeple is growing fast. Too fast for their comfort. Point being, whether full-fledged collapse happens or not is out of their control. Incremental decline is easier for them to manage, but any one of a multitude of possible black swans (most entirely predictable) could bring the edifice crashing down almost overnight. The wise man would assume its going to happen and prepare accordingly, because that’s the most difficult to prepare for.

We are close to dusk and the fireworks display, but I do not think it will be part of a planned event, like the confirmation hearings. I believe it will come out of the blue; although the power the dems have over anything will cease to exist the day after the hearings, if they are humiliated with a resounding defeat today.
Anyway, leaving the country will become a lot more clear after all the dust settles. Me? I’m stuck here and will try to make the best of it. And this is all over abortion, IMO. This guy is no doubt a dyed in the wool statist like the rest of them, but may favor some slight easing of the federal government’s role in abortion legislation. Thats all this is about. The rest is just theater. The proper, constitutional answer to the abortion question is pretty clear: since the constitution doesn’t mention anything about it, its to be left up to states to decide. Thats what scares the left so much. But unless abortion is your number one issue, there’s no reason to get a hard on about this guy. Kaboki theater.

The key to survival in the present-day United States is to “fly below the radar” and don’t bring attention to yourself. Live your life the way you want to. There are many ways to “opt-out” of many societal aberrations. Get rid of cable TV (Talmudvision), associate with trusted friends (who are not involved with law enforcement or other statist enterprises). Grow your own food, make your own weapons, move out of the major metropolitan areas (if you can), establish yourself in a rural area. You will find that rural types are generally good people, are easier to deal with, are more aware of what is going on, and can be a part of an informal network, essential if and when the SHTF.
Remember, the freedom you have is the freedom you TAKE. Opt-out as much as you can. It can be done…

Mary Christine, have you tried the Budwig diet? I suggest you look it up. Dr. Budwig healed people with cancer with her diet plan, even those considered given up on by their physicians.
One thing to note, diehard Budwig-diet supporters say you can’t eat butter, other dairy products and meat. Dr. Budwig suggested that because of the way animals were being raised in CAFOS, which are unhealthy and require the animals to have antibiotics to keep them from getting sick. If you use butter, dairy and meat from organic, grass-fed animals, you can use those animal products.
Look it up online. There’s plenty of info available. You can also buy Dr. Budwig’s books online now, translated from the German.

See also the book “World Without Cancer: the story of vitamin B17” by G. Edward Griffin… simply amazing!

My 13 year old yellow lab (at 11) had multiple mast cell tumors and a huge nerve sheath tumor on her back leg which several veterinarians wanted to amputate completely. Long story short, I had the tumors removed as best they could and 2 years later still cancer free and loves to jump into the pool whenever she can! No radiation, no chemo… was told both would be necessary (couldn’t have done that to her anyway). I crush up a few apricot pits and add to her food daily as with my Dane and Beagle.

I would not want to be an American living in Australia or New Zealand. The Kiwis are already tired of and very angry at the presence of wealthy American expatriates in their country. When their economy dies, how long will it be before they run the Yanks out of their country?
When this fantasy of debt-based paper money comes to an ignoble end, there is one thing for sure- millions will die in every country on every continent on this planet. The highest number of deaths will occur in the places most affected by disruptions in the supply chain.

Where I live can be described as an opiate rust belt town. People here have been real poor for the last 20 years and our version of the die-off has been going on that long. The drugged out people are dying in piles one shot at a time and the sick and infirm will go once government paid insurance goes belly up, and there are lots of them. The folks of sound mind who know at least one trade by hand have gotten used to living poor and have toughened. They will eventually experience the end of the big box supply chain but can learn to make do or make it themselves. There will be no tolerance here of exurban people who want to take from others by violence.

There’s a sensible case to be made and the author makes it. But I ain’t going no where. I assessed the areas in the U. S. and determined that the deep south, Georgia in my case, is the best place to ride out the storm. I raise much of my own food, have a house in a stable neighborhood and lots and lots and lots of weapons and ammo.

The human march to individual sovereignty was never easy, but it was in America where it took root even if for a short time. It will return and it will return here and I aim to be a participant.

The evil ones who gave up their souls to demons of fake lives, needs and wants for they have all accepted that love, faith and family is but a disease of the heart.

For what kind of God would allow all this corrupt to rule over his created except for a concept that just escapes them that much, of a justice loving God who created so much, only something his loving listening could touch and yes mankind it is your rights that are just and blessed by God himself, to lighten you up until death opens you up to God’s loving heaven located way way up.

The older blacks, who experienced things before the Civil Rights Act and welfare, aren’t too bad. It’s the newer generations who have lived off Uncle Sam their whole lives that are the main problem. But the majority have such low I.Q.s they can’t think straight.

You are so very right about the Civil Rights Act drawing the line. I was born here and I’ll die here. I love this country, always have and always will, despite it’s many shortcomings. It’s too bad so many citizens are choosing to see all the negative things (and admittedly there are many) and use their resources to expatriate instead of staying here and doing what they can to help turn things around…..especially since it was this country that gave them the opportunity to amass enough wealth and knowledge to expatriate in the first place.

Not knowing your situation Llpoh, I won’t put you in that category but to most other expats I say don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Ten Year, if you are of European descent, your ancestors migrated here from some other place on the planet, probably to escape some other economic/social/cultural/political situation. So you are where you are today because one of your ancestors could see something you cannot see now.
There should be no stigma associated with a desire to move to a better spot on the planet.

the truth of the situation is there is a tsunami approaching. thinking you can out-swim it just because your house is here is questionable. you have loyalty to a country which doesn’t give a shit about you.

Lots of room in the northern highlands of Nicaragua. Every neighbour has offered to sell me their property as well. My downhill neighbour east of me has 45 acres, good springs, a small river and no access apart from through my farm. Firearms are allowed but expensive. We grow tons of food, have pigs, cattle, horses, chickens. Daily temperature around 75 degrees. Working on building a hydro electric generator to get fully off the grid. My two farm hands work for $5 a day and are very loyal and grateful.
Visits can be arranged. To qualify for residency you need to show an income from outside of the country of $600/month.

Considering access has to be granted by ME, unless you want to pay guys to hump beans across a series of waterfalls…I could probably pick it up for 50k. It is better for cattle currently with good grass. You could burn it all and plant beans or carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, considering the river for irrigation you could get 4 good crops a year.
Personally I prefer cattle. I like $20/day per cow over waiting for carrots to grow and watching the fracking conejos eating all your money. Downside is you have pay somebody $5/day to milk them.
I am thinking about buying it and subdividing for TBP expats. Little house, good water, fresh food- cheaper than a silo bunker!

The barbarian invasions and constant warring in Italy sent people packing. It’s hard to make a living in the middle of a war, unless you’re a soldier. Chicken Little (Llipoh)
Certainly, the sky looks like it is falling. And one can say it is the End-Times. Its true, we are to go through one of the greatest collapses of all times. But its far from being completely over with. For its also the beginning of what is about to be birthed. A new dawn is about to break over the horizon.

If this is what you truly feel. Then its best that you leave. One needs to have a wider view of what is going on. And perhaps, that is what is needed for you to do…. To watch the scene – what is about to transpire here – from a great distance away. But remember the old adage… ‘You don’t know how precious something is until you’ve lost it.’

And, you will not be able to say to your children, (of which you have no mention of) that you actually went through, and participated in, this amazing transformational change that is about to take place. It only begins in this country. It will move, first, across this country, then across the rest of the planet. It appears to me that you have lost touch with the Creationery Force that is piloting this ship.

Try telling what your plans are to the Almighty Creator, and then watch & see how that will turn out for you. You think that your life is in your hands? God has other plans for you. You just have to pay attention to what that Voice is saying to you. Yeah, perhaps, he’s telling you to leave. Then, just simply ignore what I am saying.

My sense is to not leave this ship. I am here as a witness. I have a front row seat in this theater. And a bucket of popcorn in hand. I’ll watch this show through to its endpoint – to my endpoint.

Its the greatest Military Intelligence Operation of Our Time!

The only way out of our idiocracy is to ensure our children are able to think for themselves.
There is no new dawn for this country because its educational system ensures that not only can our children not think for themselves, they cannot apply logic to any question without reverting to and relying on the propaganda that insinuates itself into every media platform.

I work overseas so I can see very clearly what is happening to the country. LLPOH is right on all counts. I live in one of the wealthiest counties in the U.S. but if I drive a mile outside my enclave and a few others I am surrounded by poverty, desperation and ugliness. Some rural parts of my state are still as I remember them from 35 years ago but the people! Jesus Christ, the people! Unfortunately, LLPOH is wrong. You can’t run away. This is it. New Zealand and Australia do not want 150,000,000 Americans who managed to shit in their own beds. Trump is a tough man but he is operating on instinct and intelligence alone to try to turn the tide. It will take utter ruthlessness and, if it can be done at all, violence on a scale we can’t imagine. There is no easy road ahead and no road back. I do not know what our future will look like but it is clear that some terrible catastrophe awaits us. One thing I know. When the smoke clears we will no longer have an overpopulation problem. If our side wins the leftists and the uninvited foreigners will no longer be here. The best we can hope for – for them – is an orderly departure from our country. Rebuilding will take harsh measures and zero tolerance for the weak, stupid and vicious. I believe it is obvious to most of our readers that some form of civil war is now inevitable. The Democrat behavior on Kavanaugh may be remembered as one of the straws that destroyed constitutional order in our country and weakened our institutions so badly that the dam will finally break.

From time to time I read letters from readers on this site and others that scoff at the idea of a civil war or widespread violence in the U.S. I just shake my head and sigh. I have spent much of my life in countries where this is virtually the norm. The notion that we are immune is absurd.

As Admin and others have repeatedly warned, our financial condition is desperate. It is not wise to make predictions but I will guess that the final plunge will be provoked by a combination of financial collapse and a major foreign pollicy or military disaster, probably in the Middle East or with China. Our reckless actions in Syria could easily explode in our faces and it could happen any day.

What to do? I don’t know, other than take some obvious precautions (arm yourself to protect your family from immediate threats, have an emergency reserve in gold or some stable foreign currency, get out of major urban areas).

Good luck.

We’re in Illinois now and I know we have to leave soon, before they institute some sort of exit tax or capital control on people fleeing the “Land of Lincoln”. Try rural Nebraska. Houses are dirt cheap. Sell your house in ShitCongo now: the housing market is still hot, but will drop like a rock soon; the advance indicators are flashing red. Rent in a safe neighborhood if you must stay put for a short while. With the equity you get out of your house, you can buy an older house here, renovate it to like new condition, and still have a bundle to fill your wallet or use to buy silver for the long haul.

Taxes are low and the inhabitants are almost all German Lutherans. They are really clueless about the world in general, but are honest and hard working. After a few of them are killed by gangs from the cities, they will wise-up and kill any additional 2-legged predators that show up.

There are two houses within a block of me that can be bought for less than $15K each. Each needs some renovation, due to age and neglect. Others not needing renovation can be had for about $40K. Empty lots can be bought cheap for big gardens, and deer are really thick down along the river.

We are in the middle of nowhere, but Lincoln, a relatively big city, is less than 2 hours away. I can make a run once a month to get anything and everything I need. I do marvel at the freaks I see in the city.

Jobs are available in most of the small towns, but I am starting a small business in my basement so I can work at my own pace. Most towns need skilled craftsmen, like plumbers, electricians, etc.

There is no place to run, even if you are wealthy. Such “safe harbors” are only so under the umbrella of an enforced global peace. If the US actually does fall, so will western civilization.

Within the US a family can find a semblance of stability and community outside urban areas. GO THERE if you are uncertain!

We moved out of an urban county to the most conservative county in our state, near our kids & grandkids.

If a 4th Turning war does break out, the urban areas will be cordoned off, food, water, & sanitation will cease, and survival of the fittest will consume most of the population. Don’t get caught in them!!!

I trust the Republic will survive, but there are big changes coming, either with or without the aforementioned war. That war is happening now, it is just underground. We want to keep it that way, but the radical Left may insist on massacre. If so, let it be among themselves!

No one wants to be ‘around that shit’ You either are that shit, or want to avoid that shit. The problem is the shit wants to, if not be around, at least feed off of you. The parasites follow the host.

The host will either fight the parasites off, or succumb to it. Running doesn’t save you from the shit, but you do have to pick the place to fight to minimize the chances of the ‘the shit’ beating the ‘not shit’

The shit will not simply ‘leave you alone’ because it means their suffering and death. And they will gladly supply your suffering and death to avoid their suffering and death.

I like Aussies and Kiwis, and they certainly have less obesity and tats, they are quite a bit more economically socialist/leftist than Amis. Their political ‘center’ is closer to the left side of democrats. How both they and we evolve in this fourth turning is to be determined, but as a general matter, people are better off ‘among their own’ if you flee to what you think is better ground, you have to make up some ground with the locals to become one of their own.

It is a tough call, but make no mistake, there is no place to move to avoid it, just better and worse places to get through it. Man is a fallen creature.

Good observations on state of things. It is true that things are coming apart at the seams. There has been a long march of regression in health of economy, people and finances. Looking around I too see many of the same things. Still moving to Oz or New Zealand is outta reach for most here. Even if I could move there would I not have to move far away from the cities. It is what it is! The corruption, the education, and the cognitive dissonance seems to be reigning everywhere. The money is winning everywhere. Morality and common sense is voted against at every turn. if a country looks like an exception, it is being undermined as we speak. I read OZ got 30,000 Indonesian troops some time back, if true, WHY!? This storm is planned for all of us. When we have a war on white people, toxic males, conservative values, morality, and just plain common sense, we older farts say let’s just get this party started before we get too old to teach, or see through the sights.

The province will be technically bankrupt within a matter of a few years, as our gov’t credit rating is about to be downgraded again, all while rates are rising. We already have the highest per capita debt in Canada.

I don’t think we have enough people here (750k, more than half over 45 years of age, largest city is less than 100k) to really worry about roving mobs, but I may be wrong. I saw the writing on the wall many years ago and as such have very little debt, a wood stove, huge garden, cold cellar and the ability to be 100% self-sufficient and reasonably comfortable if the lights go out. “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

Sounds a bit like the bunkers being built in New Zealand and elsewhere, doesn’t it? The only safe place to hide is in Jesus Christ. Anywhere else is a misplaced security.

When the EMT crew got there (that was driving past when they got the call- the reason I’m alive) my blood pressure was so low I woke up gasping after they gave me a shot of adrenaline into my heart.

Sitting on the floor the lead EMT lady asked me what happened…I stared at her chuckling…realizing I was still alive. She asked me what happened again, smiling broadly I said: “Nothing I just like to make dramatic entrances.”

As a high-level construction manager for the DOE, I can assure you there isn’t sufficient redundancy to keep the national power grid operative if anyone decides to attack a few key, and very vulnerable, power substations.

The investments needed to ensure continued operation of what we have today aren’t being made because the Federal government isn’t going to throw money at a system they intend to cripple permanently when the red/blue bloodbath begins.

One very good thing about this very poor country I ended up in is that the median income is around 18K per household. Now, that sounds poor, but when you consider almost everyone raises livestock, has eggs, gardens and hunts their food, then the local factory job men and women carpool the forty to fifty miles to work is actually kind of Profit, in a way.

These people are poor but they are self-sufficient. The boys are tough but they aren’t mean. Most of them are homeschooled and smart. The young ladies are not delicate flowers. Katlyn got her first deer last year. She is nine.

Trust me. The more I study it, the clearer it is to me that thermodynamics and the biophysical economy rule.

GDP is a direct reflection of fuel consumption:
http://www.inscc.utah.edu/~tgarrett/Economics/GDP_is_not_Wealth.html

Morality is entirely contextual, and I don’t say this as a Marxist or post-modernist or whatever other ideology. I say it because I see it.

We were involved in the slaughter of some friends’ pigs yesterday. That humans actually care about “people” and “the future” in more than a superficial way is most likely untrue; instead it’s a fantasy story we tell ourselves in order to feel good about ourselves, allowing the next generation to get born (earlier puberty, child rape/marriage, harems and so forth also help in this, while forestalling procreation, democracy, women’s and XYZ “rights”, literacy, and so forth.. are luxuries borne of surplus).

In the context of the pig slaughter I can tell you I was astounded to see the pigs almost entirely uncaring of the felling of their siblings, the only nervousness being displayed 1.) at the sound of the gun firing and 2.) once the last pig remained: it was skittish to find itself alone, but was still ultimately brought near some handfuls of grain (greed). Why should we think humans are that much different?

Once the first victim pig had been felled and the reverberations of the shot had faded, its siblings were soon lapping at the blood and rooting around under its still-twitching corpse, not acting noticeably differently from how they’d acted before. “Move over, will ya? Geez…”

I completely agree with Llpoh’s assessment. But it is very difficult to emigrate from the U.S. without a bulging bank account. Mostly, you are not wanted anywhere if you don’t have money. If you are in this condition, but are still determined to leave the U.S. here are a few ideas to give you hope:

1. Take employment with a U.S. company overseas. You earn money while they keep you safe until you ‘know the ropes’. Obviously avoid the ‘independent contractor security’ gigs with the military.

2. If either your parents or grandparents were citizens of a country in Europe, many of those countries will give automatic citizenship to you. Check into it.

3. The Marshall Islands (in the middle of the South Pacific). Our contributor, Muck, sings high praises of the place. The deal the U.S. military made (recently renewed) gives all U.S. citizens the right to both reside and work there. And the “work” part could be what makes it doable for you.

4. For the more desperate: Paraguay (South America) allows anyone in the world to become a citizen if they deposit $5,000 in a Paraguay bank and take up continual residence for two years. (a caution: rumor has it that Ragheads from around the world know of this).

5. For the extremely desperate: You can always just ‘visit’ a country with a visa and then just not leave. The details are up to you.

6. A final idea: If you are a legitimate Christian, with references to back the claim, there are many opportunities to go overseas and work within the confines of a Christian charity.

The idea that a sizeable number of us tattooed American land whales could relocate to different countries is absurd. Nor would the Aussies or Kiwis tolerate very many of us intruding on their paradise down under. New Zealand even recently passed a law barring property ownership by foreigners. Good for them, and I wish we would do the same.

I worked in New Zealand in the mid 80’s and loved it. I tried to move there recently but it looked like they were only looking for young people with jobs that won’t displace people already there. They want you to put a huge sum of cash up front to cover health insurance etc.
Also recently visited Costa Rica. Loved it there too. Looking into maybe living there part time. I could run my company from there sitting on a beach in my shorts and flipflops. No 24/7 marketing in your face. The one thing I did not like down there were the finicky Americans. They expect every thing they have up north down there. They don’t get it. Simple life is so much better. When in New Zealand, it was obvious a lot of kids were moving to Austrailia or US because life was perceived to be so much better in those places. Wonder if that trend reversed.

Llpoh exemplifies the ‘boiling frog fable.’ If a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.

Many of us, with the exception of TBPers, are frogs in tepid water that is being brought to a boil slowly so we don’t notice the gradual but continual deterioration. Llpoh has been away from the U.S. long enough that, on returning, he sees the changes markedly. Thanks, Llpoh for confirming what many TBPers suspect.

As long as Trump is in office there won’t be a financial collapse because the powers that want it to happen know Trump will not Bail them out. There will no mass riots in the nation cause these bastards know Trump won’t put up with their shit. As long as Trump is in office we all have more time to prepare.
These people tell us what they are going to do. Go to the Council on Foreign Relations website and others like it .These people tell us what they are going to do .Trump is wealthy but he is not a traitor who hates white people. They know this. The ” elites have changed their agenda ” while he is President. They are going to run up the stock market as high as they can. They will take advantage of this opportunity. Gold and silver will remain good investments as are intentionally keeping the price low. Go to websites the money elites go to. You would be surprised at the information these money elites give up to one another.
After Trump is out of office all hell is coming to our nation. They want a cashless society with some type of World government. They know if they can get one more of ” theirs ” in office they will be safe .One world Luciferians know what they want and the Bible tells me they are going to get it.

Apparently, I’m living in the bubble. Chicago gets a bad rap everywhere about everything, so why is what’s happening, happening. Condo’s going up everywhere, apts too, restaurants everywhere packed every day… more restaurants opening up. You should see the nightlife here, as a new uber driver I’m amazed at all the people and activity. This city has exploded with development over the last few years…

Things change, and we who remember decry the change. But does anyone know the future; and just because it’s different does that mean it’s going to shit. I’ve heard this crap about the coming apocalypse for decades, literally decades. Well, maybe someday, maybe not. But the economic power resides in the big cities, where’s the resources going to go if things turn bad… it ain’t the country, it’s where the money is and that’s the major cities.

Llpoh,

I was. I was moved by the defiance in the sentence Dennis Roe used that I quoted because I share it.

I’ve been convinced for years there is a Civil War coming. I think the trigger will be the Everything Bubble bursting. I’m so positive of it I’ve been preparing to defend my home with tactics I learned the hard way in 69 for years. I have even had a vivid dream seeing myself shot in the head and killed at a crossroads on my farm where it would be logical place to defend a rolling intrusion. Man, that was spooky. It bothered me for a month…so I put a hidden covered fight’en position in the exact place…with a couple of felled trees to cover a tactical retreat.

I suspect one day I’m going to have to fight Americans, I think some of them will give me no choice.

This was a fascinating thread, you stired it up! I always follow you…never disappointing.

If they come for your family or your home, you must defend. I am no pacifist. Some folks say I ran away. Not the way I see it or think of it. I believe in the right to choose.

Many, many Americans are choosing poorly. It is not my way to fight that. I have done my bit in my own way. And I have prepped my kids. Now I look after me and mine, and the devil will have his due for the mistakes made by the masses.

This theme comes up all the time and not just on this post. Is it “running” away to get yourself and family out of harms way or is it it “better” or more noble to sacrifice everything for what you hold most dear (your home and country in this case)?

The point people always miss is so simple they fly right by it. The whole discussion is just spewing opinions. Hollywood Rob had a thread about foundational truths, well here is one: “Opinions are easy, decisions are hard.” We can all spew opinions all day long and it matters little to not at all. You made a decision. Period. Is it the “right” one? Who knows? There’s a thousand question embedded in that one and we can never have all the answers. The point is you took all the information you had and could get and you made a fucking decision and kudos to you. That’s the real lesson here.

And saying you’re going to wage (and almost definitely win) a war against the zombie hoards that are most assuredly on there way is neither opinion or decision…this is pure fantasy and complete nonsense.

Now, to say “I’m not leaving, come what may” is a decision and an admirable one.

Again, the question of “right” is nearly infinite in scope and as such always up for grabs. All we can do is to be decisive and tell the truth.

You can only do for yourself and family and friends. The rest of the country has to take care of itself. When you can’t control your government because they think they’re above the law, are corrupt as hell, and bribed by lobbyists, and no longer represent the American people, you have to fend for yourself and those you care about.
