Gator’s Question of the Day: Judge Kavanaugh

Would it REALLY be a good thing for the country if Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed? While I think these present accusations against him are bogus and not near the level required to ruin a man’s career, lost in the present circus are his very alarming views on government supremacy and the 4th Amendment.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/07/12/judge-andrew-napolitano-why-am-so-deeply-disappointed-by-trumps-supreme-court-pick.html

Judge Andrew Napolitano lays out the case in the above link. Most on here are not fans of the Patriot Act, and Judge Kavanaugh helped craft it. He is also of the mind that the President can do no wrong, and is apparently also believer in the line of thought that believes the government gives us our rights, and can take them away as it sees fit.

But, this leads to another problem, and another question. If he isn’t confirmed, in the long run, I think this is a good thing for the 4th Amendment, but it would grant the left a victory that I hate to see them achieve. Is that something anyone wants to see either?  What if all of this is just political theater used to cover up this guys very serious flaws as a Judge? The entirety of Trump’s base, many of whom are not fans of the Patriot Act or similar mass domestic spying programs, are out in the street defending this guy without even looking into what they are likely getting with him on the bench because of these baseless allegations. What if it’s all by design?

And yes, Stucky, I know that’s more than one question.

As I’ve mentioned before after reading the letter Ford supposedly wrote to Fienstein first on Gateway Pundit and then Google Search Images. Every copy I’ve seen refers to Kavanaughs friend as Mark G. Judge.

Does this Mark G. Judge go introducing himself with his middle initial?

I’ll cut to the chase. Fienstein took one of Kavanaughs FBI file. The letter written copied the name forgetting the context of how she or he got the name.

The letter written got confused between Judge Kavanaugh and Judge Mark G.

You only use a middle initial on some form of document. People don’t introduce themselves or refer to others by it.

H.G. Wells would disagree. So would R.L. Stine. And what about F. Scott Fitzgerald?

His views on the 4th Amendment and the First Amendment are very troubling to me, so thank you Gator for bringing this up. It seems many are more troubled with the liberal victory than the Constitution.

Most honest straightforward folks see this nomination as a substance question about how Kavanaugh will do as a Judge. The Democrats understand this to be about power – getting it and keeping it. The midterm elections and women’s votes are the highest priority. The next priority is communicating that Trump is not in control, as the sheople will support those who they think are powerful. If the Democrats are right about the real issues, those who believe the Democrats will finish off the country if they win this war for power must support the enemies of the Democrats. Yes, this may Alien vs. Predator, but it’s the only real game right now.

Another possibility. The Ford letter writer obtained the name Mark G. Judge from the FBI files that the Clintons stole while they were in office. There was scandal about that then.

Yes, Filegate arose in June 1996. Just think all those files are now in the possession of George Soros who probably made several nice contributions to the Clinton foundation for. It’s a disgrace.

I’m thinking Fienstein knows this. And didn’t have to leak confidential FBI Files with Mark G. JUdges name on it herself. Just point Basley Ford to Soros lawyer Katz.

I’m thinking this is more likely the case. Which is why they had to revert back in Kavanaughs life so long ago. Because 1996 is the time the Clintons were discorved as having stolen FBI files.

So, Katz only has information from an FBI file dated back before then to work with.

Trump seems to me to be laying back and that’s not his style. Something is at work behind the scene. I heard a credible report that he was convinced of a female, strongly Catholic judge recommended by his sister-who also is a judge. At some point he was set upon by some inner circle big shots and told to nominate Kavanaugh instead. Is he letting K twist in the wind to stick him up their asses if he tanks-which is a possibility? He was quoted saying this fbi bullshit study ‘may turn out to be a good thing after all.’ The pieces seem to fit.

And let kavanaugh’s ass kicking be a lesson to all future preppy, white shoe boys who play the game and sell out the American people. He can wind up pumping gas for a living for all I give a shit.

exactly. I wonder who is waiting the wings? Or how anyone can withstand vetting who has not lived in a monastery or convent all their lives. Woe be to any soul who has a full life of successes wrought from wisdom gleaned from failures.

I wonder what it takes to earn redemption from adolescent adventures.

Duke lacrosse players take heed.

If you follow Q, you could put the pieces together. (It’s called bait and switch). The Demonrats took the bait, and now the FBI sweep this week will unearth the Blasey family’s CIA black ops, Feinstein plotting with the Chinese, and put Avenati away forever.

“Would it REALLY be a good thing for the country if Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed? ”

Don’t know.

I do know this …. his NOT being confirmed will forever change this country, for the worse.

I like the idea that the Supreme Court does not have a ninth justice. The court is split half and half which shows that Administrative Law is not based on any solid foundation; only opinion.

It would be better for the country that the Supreme court is evenly divided with no tie breaker. Supreme Court rulings on administrative law has not been good for the country. When a judge is conformed for political reasons it defaces the purpose of the supreme court.

Kacanaugh is a spinner of administrative law. He does not seem to value anything related to the Constitution. How can he be confirmed without an inquiry by the Senate as to his performance as a judge. If the Republicans vote him in without an inquiry as to his performance for all to hear than I am sure something really smells. I would like to know what his input and influence was concerning the Patriot Act. Maybe the Senate does not want that to come out.

Here’s the way I look at it: He’s sure as hell better and more like “us” than anyone the Dems might proffer. Better to lock this one in while we can, and bear in mind he’s one of nine, so the others can help reel him in if needed.

No, he is not like us at all. Private Washington DC Jesuit Catholic School. There is one of those in Kansas City. Rockhurst. Not all Jesuits are bad but if you went to one in DC, then went on to Yale…just sayin. He is probably not a Mason but they changed the rules on that sometime after Vatican II so it’s possible.

Maybe this trip to the woodshed changed him.

We can only hope.
