Libraries are no long useful. All books can be scanned, and available on the internet. It’s much easier to search a digital copy (pdf) and it’s much easier to find a book, than using the outdated card catalog system.
Here in Minneapolis, we have expensive library buildings. Their main use is to serve as a homeless shelter during the day. You can see bums occupying and sleeping in our $420 million dollar downtown library everyday.
That downtown library in Portland is crawling with homeless people, used needles, and trash. I would never take my kid there for any reason. Seems fitting that the parental filth and their kids have to pass through filth to go see drag filth. And because it’s Portland I am sure it will be a packed house.

For those of your unfamiliar with Portland, let me paint a picture of a trip to the central library to see the drag queens.
First you drive downtown past all the homeless camps that now exist along the freeways. Then you park in the public garage across from the library and inhale the sweet aroma of urine as you make your way to street level. Then you need to negotiate a path thru the forest of panhandlers and punks hanging around the light-rail station between the parking garage and the library. Then you enter the 100-year old library for the drag queen fest.
Sounds like a typical dayvouting for young students in my fair city.
I am beginning to see a pattern in which all these places where people freak out over “the environment” and wail that Republicans want dirty water and air, have people shitting in the streets and pissing everywhere. I am seeing little difference between the South Carolina mega hog farm and a city run by Democrats and populated with various miscreants. Perhaps the hogs should now be allowed to vote too?
