Stucky QOTD: — Does Jesus Love Russia More Than America?

One of the most severe condemnations cast forth by Jesus concerns the abuse of children;

“But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea.”  —— Matthew 18:6

Americans have murdered FIFTY EIGHT MILLION FIFTY EIGHT MILLION “little ones” since 1973.

IF JESUS IS REAL …

AND IF HE MEANS WHAT HE SAYS IN MATTHEW 18:6 …

AND IF YOU THINK AMERICA WILL ESCAPE HIS WRATH …

THEN YOU HAVE YOUR HEAD UP YOUR ASS!!

Meanwhile, in Russia,  the miraculous Icon of the Savior Not-Made-By-Hands, (the patron of the armed forces!!)  will make a 35,000 mile trek through Russia;  — via land, sea, and air, and visit 120 cities, 150 churches,  and 300 military posts.  Meanwhile, in the USA,  public prayer to Jesus was banned 50 years ago.

My answer to my question:   I am 99.9% certain that Jesus loves Russia much more than Amerika.

As such, you Dispensationalist fools  who believe that Gog/Magog in the book of Revelation refers to Russia, well, you also have your heads up your asses. All available evidence points to the USA!USA!USA as being the evil Gog/Magog!  This is no longer disputinable. The Lord has given me this prophecy to give to you, my fellow Americans:

—- You think you will be safe when the Great Calamity comes upon you. You will even cry out to Me “Lord! Lord!” But, like lukewarm water, the Lord will spit you out of His mouth saying — “Sixty million dead little ones! Depart from me you evil doers!!“.

.

Putin Personally Paid to Have an Icon of Christ Made for Russian Armed Forces

A copy of the miraculous Icon of the Savior Not-Made-By-Hands, [above picture] considered the patron of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, began its nation-wide tour in the southern military district with a visit to Sevastopol—the base of the Black Sea fleet, on Bright Monday, reports the site of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The icon is being delivered to military units and military district compounds throughout the vast country and to the Northern Fleet over the course of the next several months.

The head of the main military-political department of the administration of the armed forces Colonel-General Andrei Kartapolov participated in the solemn ceremony of transferring the icon to the St. Vladimir Cathedral in Sevastopol, explaining why the icon of the face of the Savior is honored as the patron of the armed forces: “The Icon of the Savior Not-Made-By-Hands was depicted on the banners of the Russian army, and His image was placed over the gates of fortresses. Soldiers always saw in it their patron, and civilians—their defender and Savior.”

Kartapolov also spoke about the icon’s coming travels to military units and churches throughout the country: “Throughout the year, it will be transported to many compounds and military units of the Russian army and to churches of the Russian Orthodox Church so that not only thousands of soldiers would be able to venerate the sacred object, but also the Orthodox faithful in various corners of our homeland. By air, by water, by land, the icon will traverse more than 35,000 miles. It will visit more than 120 cities, more than 150 churches, and more than 300 compounds and military units.”

The journey begins in Sevastopol and will end in Moscow in the main church of the armed forces on the 75th anniversary of the victory in WW2.

From Crimea the icon will be taken to Rostov, then to Krasnodar and the Republic of Adygea, then to Abkhazia, then to North Ossetia, Chechnya, Dagestan, and South Ossetia, then to Astrakhan and to Volgograd. The icon will also be taken to a Russian military base in Armenia in early August.

Icons of the type “Not-Made-By-Hands” appeared in Rus’ from the 11th century. The face of Christ on the armed forces’ icon is surrounded by images of the Kazan, Vladimir, Smolensk, and Tikhvin Icons of the Mother of God, placed on artistic reliefs that depict significant events in Russian history, as well as icons of the Archangel Michael and the patrons of the armed forces: the Righteous Warrior Feodor Ushakov, Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duchess Olga, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Right-Believing Alexander Nevsky, the apostle Andrew the First-Called, the Great Martyr Barbara, Prophet Elijah, and the Equal-to-the-Apostles St. Vladimir.

The icon was painted with funds from President Vladimir Putin and was blessed on the feast of Pascha by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

Reporting as ordered, sir.

Nations are definitely used by God to accomplish his goals (thanks for the references!). But you will note, nations used by God are primarily in the Old Testament, for the purpose of brining His Son, into the world in the fullness of times.

Once Jesus accomplished redemption for mankind, Gods purpose shifted from using nations to accomplish His will, toin the New Testament, producing the ecclesia; the called out ones, or more commonly known as the church.

By leading according to His Holy Spirit, nations are now only the pool from which the constituents of the church are taken from and today, nations who refuse to acknowledge God, are only used to create the trials to perfect His saints.

As a matter of fact, when nations are attempted to be included in building the church, you wind up with the national church of Germany, otherwise known as the Lutherans. Or, you can go back further to emperor Constantine, and the fiasco that happened when there was the attempt to incorporate Christians into the Roman Empire.

Well, that’s my understanding, hope you are well and the enjoying rebirth of spring in your neck of the woods. I always gravitate to your articles and always get challenged from your unique points of view.

Heaven and earth shall pass away. Russia will not be exempted. Carrying a useless “icon”through Russia—which is rank idolatry—has no saving power whatsoever, and it will not erase Russia’s crimes against humanity throughout the 20th century. Only the Gospel can save.

God loves His people: those, and only those, whose faith is in the Scriptural Gospel of Christ. God does not love human governments, which are ALL given over to Satan. Salvation is not corporate, but strictly based on the individual’s response to the Gospel.

As for Christ “spitting the U.S. out of his mouth,” you’re misappropriating Scripture by confusing a country with the lukewarm church among the seven historically representative churches in Asia Minor, addressed in the late first century by Christ Himself in Revelation. Those churches haven’t a solitary thing to do with the U.S. or with countries at all; they are examples of the type of Christian apostasy vs. Christian faithfulness that was occurring then and that has occurred throughout Christian history.

“Russia had the highest number of abortions per woman of child-bearing age in the world according to UN data as of 2010.”

I know you’re just shitposting, but as far as abortion Russia is among the worst. It’s been that way for many decades. Contraception was not readily available or used, but abortion was.

Matthew 18:6 refers to adults steering pious children away from God, it doesn’t have anything to do with unborn, not-yet-religious babies being killed. Check out the 10 Commandments for that, I think there’s something in there about murder.

Russia’s abortion rates were through the roof, especially during the years it was the USSR. But now they are paying the consequences with demographics, like all of Europe and Japan is. The Orthodox Church wants to outlaw abortion and is trying to convince Putin to do just that.

Persnickety, I will not comment on your suspect use of wikipedia statistics but rather on your narrow and literal interpretation of the words in the Bible. Are you some kind of Baptist or something. You have, it seems, fallen prey to the totally modernist narrowing of language to its technical function. Do you understand what I’m saying? We have allowed our language to be stripped of its allegoric, elegiac, heroic and mythic functions to the point that we now believe that using a dictionary or a Strong’s Concordance or God forbid a Dake’s Bible or perhaps a Scofield, if you are really educated, is the only way to understand words in Holy Scripture. No wonder poetry is dead. We have allowed the hermeneutic of the scientific treatise to inform us as to how to read the Bible. Not only that, but this narrowing of language has also stripped science itself of all its wonder and mystery. No wonder our children believe only dreary nerds actually enjoy science. You really should do some praying and ask the God of Glory and of Mysteries to enlighten your mind and enlarge your heart beyond words you find written on a page. I’m sorry and I never thought I’d say it, but Stucky is right and you are wrong.

BAck to the question. I am amazed at the shift that has taken place in both countries, Russia turning towards Christ and America turning against.

Although I would qualify that statement with Russia’s turn being more genuine, in that they followed the Bible’s teaching through trials that refined their faith; America, not so much, in that during the same time period, we were becoming more like the church in Laodicea; lukewarm and thinking we were rich, but in truth, poor, blind and naked. Which is the root of America’s falling away from God today.

It looks like if America has any hope of restoring their love of God, it will have to be through the refining fires of trials and tribulations.

Whole countries are punished for what their leaders do in the Bible. The whole country of Egypt suffered for the pharaoh’s Biblical crimes when Noah lead the Hebrews. All of Jerusalem suffered when the Lord sent the Romans to destroy Jerusalem. Though an individual can be punished, it’s usually the nation that suffers after a long sequence of ungodly behavior.

That’s true, but God always returns to destroy the nation he used to destroy Israel.

God lets really bad countries fill their basket of inequity, like the Roman Empire and Egypt. By letting these countries do the work for him to reprimand other countries, God lets them go on until they are so bad, his worst punishment is required. If you notice, neither Egypt nor Rome have recovered their grandeur. Come to that, neither has Babylon. And never will.

Carrying around an icon may seem religious to people like Stucky but true believers know it’s idolatry, man made religion, not pleasing to God. USA may have it’s faults but it’s the new Israel, the modern Jerusalem. The gospel has spread across the globe due to Christ’s church in the USA. Satan wants to destroy the USA more than any other country. Mr. Stuky: You are ill-informed and appear to NOT want to move beyond ignorance… The Matthew verse you quote has nothing to do with abortion. YOU MISSED THE BOAT -AGAIN. Then you attack any potential critics BEFORE they even respond – brilliant tactic!
The verse you wrongly use/apply for your abortion meme and confaluted, ramplings later about Russia. The verse you MISSUSED is about those “evil doers” who turn children of GOD – away from Him. Meaning there will be a special place in Hell for them.
If you want to go after abortion (I’m doing your work here): 1) “THOU SHALL NOT KILL” – pretty clear – even for you. Jerimiah 1:5 -” I knew you in the womb. ” Many references in the New Testamement of sancitity of life can be found.
The true science deniers are those to warp and contort words, baby, life, fetus, tissue, etc, AND those who push the 72 genders; they fly directly in the face of biology.
The shock of aborted babies is something all should see and understand. US society has morphed into something Jesus warned us would come if we stray from GOD.

I have always compared the fall of the USSR to the end of the movie “The Exorcist”. Y’all remember how the young priest tells the demon “Come into me!”? The demon does enter the priest, leaving the child free, and when the priest realizes this he kills himself, depriving the demon of a host. That seems to be what happened to us. We didn’t defeat the USSR, we became the USSR. We took the demon in (and we invited him in, just as required), and he is still here. Free of the demon, Russia has prospered. We have yet to kill ourselves, or exorcise the demon, but perhaps some other fool will invite him in. We could hope Trump is our exorcist, but hope is a poor strategy. Cheers.

..was away for a few days, and am late to this thread.
I like and can appreciate some things from Russian culture, and do not believe Putin is the demon threat he’s being
portrayed as, by the western media and governments.
Russian’s faith and nationalism is a desirable thing, imho. They project strength, and courageous convictions.
I find the articles, opinions, and music vids posted about Russia very interesting, and appealing.

That other picture, evidence of sanctioned murder, is extremely disturbing, regardless of what each individual believes or not, about faith in a higher power, or a Creator who lords over us, via mysteries as yet unproven.

Color prints of that ought to be distributed widely, at any pro-choice rally, or demonstration rally against
Planned Parenthood, to visually expose the horrific effect, of the causes they support, and demand acceptance of.

Surely some have already used that tactic, to try and awaken people who might still be undecided, on the
abortion question. I find it amazing, after seeing such evidence, that some still advocate a woman’s choice.
How can anybody look at that, and ever think it’s acceptable treatment of the defenseless innocent victims?
Rejection and destruction of the miracle that is life, at such an early stage of development. Astounding.

If you haven’t seen this 9 minute video, it’s worth your time. Trust me. It fits this topic.
Cheers.
