The Changing Of The Guard II

Guest Post by Steve Candidus (Steve C)

If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don’t have to worry about their answers— Thomas Pynchon American novelist

In my earlier essay on the changing of the guard (08-Nov-2017) which I wrote in August of 2017 and updated slightly before Jim allowed me to post it here on TBP that November, I postulated that war between the US and North Korea would probably be avoided, but war with Iran had probably already been decided in the affirmative.

The question then arises, decided by whom?

And even more to the point, why?

If you follow world events as I do with the thought always present that everything that we see, everything that we hear, everything that we are told is merely a scripted performance acted out by players, most of whom have no idea that they are merely actors on a stage, it gives you an opportunity to sit back and see more of the whole picture that is unfolding before our otherwise blinded eyes and senses.

This is not about politics, nationalism, oil, humanitarianism, or any other issue that is used to hit our hotspots and play on our emotions These things are all distractions and are used as tools that a behind-the-scenes group or cabal is utilizing to an end.

It’s about control.

As I wrote in that earlier essay, the deep state has used the US as its front man while controlling from behind the curtain like the wizard of Oz just as it did with the UK government before it. As each season passes to another, the controlling oligarchs have now exhausted all of our wealth and resources leaving us bankrupt morally and financially and like a swarm of locusts that have devoured everything in their path is simply moving on to their next field of plenty.

Catherin Austin Fitts has done an exemplary job of detailing the transfer of our nation’s wealth to unknown entities abroad. In case you haven’t seen it, the US is bankrupt and no one knows where the money went. At least no one that will talk or has lived to tell the tale.

I still expect that the US will be sucked into a war with Iran on some blown-up phony pretext, but the important thing to me is that it is a war that we will lose. We will lose it because we are supposed to lose it. It is the necessary procedure for the transfer of power from the US to Russia and China. The changing of the guard.

Nothing will really change for the ruling oligarchs of course. They will simply control from behind-the-scenes in those two countries rather than the US.

A lot will change for us here in what will be left of the US though. This second half of the fourth turning will likely be a rough one for us.

Our wealth has been stolen. Our industry destroyed. Our infrastructure is and has been crumbling for decades. Our moral compass has been turned upside down and we are at each others throats in a way not seen since the War Between the States. Transgender is now the norm. What does that tell you?

In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule. – Friedrich Nietzsche

The ratcheting up of gun control is a good measure of how close we are to the completion of their plans. Disarming the peasantry is an important task they must complete before the final stages in order to keep the unwashed masses from being able to form any kind of an uprising against what will become an ever increasingly intrusive and oppressive government.

A good rule of thumb might be that when the issue of gun control becomes almost hysteria, the shoe’s about to drop. Just ask the people in Venezuela about how they feel about having given up their firearms a few years before the whole shithouse burned down.

Here’s another guy that understood its importance.

This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!… — Adolf Hitler

Actually, he was right. We likely will follow their lead to our own destruction.

It’s a changing of the guard, and America will not be the same afterwards.

The logical path forward for those of us that want to preserve our nation and our freedom is to resist the temptations to be lied into those things that undermine who we are (or were) and into a war that will be the final nail in our own coffins.

Stay alert. Question everything. Resist being led by the bad actors that do not have our best interests at heart be they Democrats, Republicans, or any of the talking heads on TV.

We are in the middle of the fourth turning. How we come out of it depends on each of us.

…The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself… — Archibald MacLeish

Wonderful article. The bald faced deceit demonstrated with this obvious false flag operation against Iran may foster a tipping point. The goading for war was amazingly stark by pompeo being questioned this morning by chris wallace-sniveling little prick that he is. Articles like this help a lot. At some point you have to be bone stupid not to see it.

Good article for sure, but war with Iran? Where would be the battlefield? What about MAD? A submarine off the coast of Maryland could obliterate the Pentagon, the Whitehouse, and Congress in under an hour. Who would take the risk?

Great perspectives, as usual, Steve. Thank you.

From a domestic standpoint, I was thinking this morning on how America’s institutions and foundations have been chipped away to the point to where gravity has begun to take hold.

And, in consideration of global geopolitics, I keep mentally referring back to the sobering assessments of General Jack Keane. Regardless of anyone’s opinion on Mark Levin, it is a very interesting and worthwhile 40+ minute view of the world at this time in history:

An interesting interview Doug. Thanks for posting it.

What’s most interesting to me is that given that I accept most of the same figures that he states, we both come to different conclusions about what to do about them.

In particular, when he was speaking about how the US would fare in a war with Iran he said “…we have to get there…”

To me, that’s the point. Why do we – the US – have to get there? Don’t the European nations have a much bigger stake in what happens in Europe and the Middle East than we do? Why don’t ‘they’ do it? Why should Joe and Jane American taxpayer be on the hook for it financially and with the blood of our sons and daughters?

Yeah. And that was part of what was interesting about that interview -the Neoconic premises. Although, I believe Keane considers them more along the lines of defending freedom around the globe.

Thanks again for your post.

The US cannot lose a war with Iran. It can decide not to win, as in Viet Nam, etc.

But Iran is incapable of defeating the US. And that is without considering what Israel would do if it thought that was a real possibility. Israel is always the wild card.

Thanks for posting this, Steve.

The US cannot lose a war with Iran. It can decide not to win, as in Viet Nam, etc.

It is more likely that we will not be allowed to win. Winning a war with Iran/Russia/China would not allow for the changing of the guard that it will have been manipulated for in the first place.

Here’s another thing to think about:

Why in the hell are our politicians and all of those talking heads on TV so adamant about letting in so many illegal immigrants from third world cesspools in Africa and the Middle East? And who is paying for and arranging their transport? (You can include Europe in those questions)

I suspect that the reason they are being brought in is to give the American people and our European allies something to keep us busy when the shit hits the fan in Iran and our $6 billion nuclear aircraft carriers and their support groups along with thousands of our sailors start going down in the intended war.

We will be so busy defending ourselves from these stone-age barbarians that it will limit our ability to think about who is responsible for the losses in Iran and who led us into it in the first place.

It is the arrogant ones that get taken down the hardest. The US has numerous Achilles’ heels.

Think David and Goliath.

The demographics that make up the current US military as opposed to WWII (the last time true victory was achieved) is like night and day. Safe spaces and microaggression anyone?

Here is the question, 4th Turning’s are cyclical in nature and are more connected to complex progressions of nations rise to power with the inevitable downfall and so forth and so on.

So the question is: can control of unseen forces be included in the same though as the fourth turning? Or do unseen powers recognize the turning aspect and then act accordingly. Or finally, are the unseen powers inter generational and are the reasons for the Turning’s of society?

Just wondering.

Or do unseen powers recognize the turning aspect and then act accordingly

My guess is that they are aware of them and use them to their advantage…

I have felt for many years we would pick a fight with a rogue nuclear capable nation in order to bring about the reset. We would need an enemy that is strategic, so when we turn them to sand it keeps our biggest enemies from coming in for the kill, but allows them a reset and a renewed opp for pillaging and raping us. Our own politicians i am speaking of. I always said Iran or Iraq or NK. Seems like Iran has been chosen. They will allow or make it seem Iran pops off a nuke in the sky causing an emp. This will cause some damage but mostly will be an implemented false flag. They will have the ability to fix things quickly, but wont. They will allow some culling and use that culling as an atrocious opp for removing the 2nd amendment. Citizens mutilating citizens etc. They need this to be our own fault, the reason we will ask them to protect us from, us. They will do so by disarming us all. They will not start fixing the problem until we vote ourselves as defenseless victims. They will do it one affected city and town at a time and show they do have the means to fix things restore things very quickly but only if you comply. Many local leaders are already anti gun and see this as a way to remain in power in the coming tyrannical govt. in this time the targets will be those local politicians readily coercing to make its town a defenseless victim of a gun free society. Of course they will make serious examples, cruel examples of hold outs. The old men beholden to the Constitution . They will probably hang them in town squares or much much worse to make a long lived example. Once we are gun free, Then the real reset can happen…….and people will see how evil that beast really is/was and will only have faith, prayer, and fists upon which they shall rely. They will never again have the chance for real freedom and they know it was there own fault. That they had been had, in a grandiose way, for everyone to see. And politicians will eventually be so proud they will let the cat out of the bag, and with no fear that anyone can do anything about it. Politicians will brag how they intentionally destroyed The USA all in an effort to make it great again by removing our ability of self rule, self protection; owning a gun. Until, one day a lone crack spills into the dense air. And everyone knows it was like the starting pistol of a long war. One arrogant tyrant down, and many more on the list. And then will ensue a historic battle of good vs evil, freedom vs slavery, right vs wrong. And the bragging politicians will now find themselves in a literal jail, a confinement of walls and security, hindered movement, delayed life and will lash out and make mistakes in their fervor to rule with absolute power. They become impatient and find only death will be expeditious. And, America will wake up again and have to start all over.
