LLPOH: The World Has Turned to Crap

Well, there you have it. I suppose I could stop right there with that headline, as it reflects accurately what I witnessed on my recent several weeks in Europe, and what I am seeing in general world-wide. My mood is dark as of late, which is largely a result of what I am seeing.

I have been to Europe many, many times. There are places etched in my memory, that I loved: London, Madrid, Barcelona, Florence, Venice, Paris, etc. Each of those places have changed so much, for the worse, that I no longer can reconcile my memories with the current reality. What happened to these places?

Well, firstly, they have become “diversified”. That means they are now awash with hordes of unwashed. They are everywhere – begging, stealing, loafing, committing violence, and generally being parasitic and destructive.

One tour guide we were with was pick-pocketed three times in the last year. I avoided a couple of attempts to do the same to me. Pickpocketing is in epidemic proportion. The why is easy to see – for instance, in Barcelona the penalty for pickpocketing is 50 euros – no matter how often you get caught, the penalty is 50 euros. The police will now do nothing – why would they? If they catch the pickpocket, take them to jail, do the paperwork, etc. – the criminal is released with a fine of 50 euros. In fairness, the pickpockets are not entirely limited to the hordes of unwashed that have arrived – many locals have realized that, hey, the cops are not going to act – at all – so what the hell, let’s make a grab for whatever passes by.

We met an old lady who was about to board a cruise. She had been pickpocketed – lost her money, credit cards, and most unfortunately, her passport. So no cruise for her, as without a passport, you cannot board. If it were not for the benevolence of the hotel where she was staying previously, she would possibly have been destitute on the street. This poor old lady, in her 80s, was beyond devastated. How has it come to pass that these parasites are allowed to target the most vulnerable?

A further example is that Greece has just passed a law where thieves get no jail time unless they steal over 120,000 euros. Yes, you are reading that correctly – in Greece you can steal up to 120,000 euros, and receive no jail time. You can imagine what this does to encourage the actions of the unwashed and the unscrupulous general population.

Secondly, those unwashed hordes have combined with great masses of tourists. The tourists are often ignorant, rude savages with no understanding of the cultures and history of the places they are visiting. They rocket along, taking endless selfies, one after another, waving their selfie-sticks, oft dangerously. They push, shove, screech, and generally misbehave – and leave no richer for the experience than they arrived.

We witnessed a group of blacks misbehaving. An example of their behaviour was that two of the male members of the group ran out into perhaps Madrid’s busiest street so as to be able to take photos of their group against a backdrop they fancied. Cars were swerving everywhere to avoid them, as their presence was entirely unexpected. That they survived is both a miracle and perhaps indicative that fools are not always punished for their stupidity.

We saw stupidly dangerous activities by tourists everywhere – Asians were highly represented in this. Asians were also constantly being berated by security guards, guides, etc., for improper behaviour. They will climb on anything, they will ignore warning signs, they will take selfies in the most dangerous of spots (hanging out windows of moving trains, etc.). It is like they are entirely unaware of any social expectations. I wonder if it is a result of living in places where they are always massed together when in public.

We encountered unimaginable rudeness on a daily basis. I consider that I am quite polite when travelling – I have travelled extensively, and go with the flow of the locals. On more than one occasion it got ugly when we were pushed and jostled by the ignorant tourist zombies. It was quite disappointing. I am most pleased that I managed not to have smacked any of the assholes that so richly deserved it, as it would have greatly complicated my existence. I have indeed mellowed over the years.

Thirdly, many of these nations have not advanced economically, yet they have expanded their welfare states far beyond that which is sustainable.

On a worksite we were visiting, they were doing some construction. There were a number of men, of varying ages. There were two men whose job was to bring soil and rock. They had one spoon-sized shovel between them, and one child-sized wheel barrow between them. The wheelbarrow would have been perhaps 1/5th the size that I personally use to do the same tasks. There was no powered equipment of any kind. There were perhaps 10 men “working”. They could have all been replaced by a small bobcat or mini-loader and one man. It was stunning in its inefficiency, and that is saying something, given I am familiar with how inefficient building sites can be.

At another location, in Italy, I witnessed the set for a Greek play being set up in an amphitheater. There were pallet sized floor sections that had to be laid down. These sections were on wheels. The sections were pushed by 2 men, and there were – literally, no joke – 8 men that walked along side the pallets doing nothing. They could have been pushing 4 more pallets, but no – 10 people to move one pallet. They could have all been replaced by 1 man and a forklift. At the same location, there was a man cutting a yard with a line trimmer. It would take him days to do what a man with push lawn mower could do in half an hour. The entire place was huge with nary a ride on mower in site, and it was in horrendous disrepair. It is incomprehensible, with all the workers, all the tourist money, that they could not maintain the facility, which leads me to….

Fourthly, corruption is deeply, deeply rooted into the entire population.

Greece is Exhibit A of this, but it is similar in almost all of the Mediterranean nations we visited. In Greece, the population simply will not pay taxes, for instance. 59% of the working age population owes a tax debt, with a value of around 150 billion euros. They will not pay. Why? Because the Greek government will not prosecute. And further, the Greek government actually encourages it by their policies. You see, the Greek government periodically offers tax amnesties – they settle the debts for 60% of the tax owed. So, the Greeks, being not entirely stupid, realize that they get to keep 40% of all the tax they can avoid, with zero risk of jail(they of course keep 100% if they are not caught). (I could write an entire book, I imagine, with respect to the stunningly corrupt things I witnessed or heard of going on in Athens. But to summarize my general thoughts re Athens – it is the biggest shithole I have ever visited. I avoid third-world shitholes, but Athens surely must not be much better.)

The political corruption of these nations is spectacular. There will never be a resurrection in the fortunes of these nations until it is addressed.

Fifthly, and perhaps most tellingly, there are far, far too many people in these nations. Athens, as an example, has 5 million people. In the heyday when the Acropolis was built, Athens had 20,000 people. The current 5 million could not today accomplish what the 20,000 did 3000 years ago. And the greater percentage of the populations of these nations are unproductive. There are too few supporting too many. I cannot visualize a way forward, given the shear numbers of people, and given there is no common culture within the nations themselves.

I could go through my trip, place by place, but will spare you a long list of dark tales. One place that I will mention is Monaco. Not because Monaco was any place that is worth visiting, as I do not believe that, and do not recommend it. It is worth mentioning because of the fact it is a tax haven, and has no income tax. Wealthy flee there as a result, and it is not difficult to understand. If a person has say perhaps tens of millions, say $50 million for this discussion (and there are a great many people that wealthy), and assuming a 5% return, that would give them an income of $2.5 million a year. In many places, the tax rate is perhaps 50%. By moving to Monaco, they can save $1.25 million a year in tax – almost $3500 a day in tax savings. It is not hard to see why the wealthy flock to places like Monaco, Singapore, etc. as their primary place of residence. Monaco exits only because of the tax regimes of other nations.

To summarize, I see no way forward for the world, at this time. There are too many people, too stupid, doing too little, reliant on too few, with too many that are corrupt, with no unique national cultures remaining to draw people together. It cannot end well, and I suspect that it cannot be reversed without an economic collapse perhaps unprecedented in world history, perhaps accompanied by a collapse of the human population. I hope the latter can be avoided, but have no hope that the general economic destruction will be.

I know this is a rambling piece without cohesion. It is a hodgepodge of bits and pieces that have been floating around my mind these last few weeks, and it is certainly reflective of my dark mood. I was unable to formulate a proper outline, and so this went where the keyboard took me, in an effort to produce something, in response to Admin indicating that he perhaps could use a bit of help.

Thanks for the tale, sounds more like you were there as a journalist vs. a vacationer. First hand experience certainly trumps news reports, and the news reports are bad enough. Hey, on the bright side you didn’t get stabbed!

Honestly, just traveling around the US, and by that I mean traveling a few hundred miles in any direction from where we live is eye opening. Each state has amazing amounts of diversity from rich estates to 3rd world city blocks. The subcultures vary dramatically from state to state and region to region. Just briefly visiting Kentucky felt like going to a foreign country at some level, despite no language barrier.

I’m sure in ancient times if people could blog about the slow collapse, you would see similar things, despite the population back then being nothing by todays standards. Opening the floodgates to anyone and then giving them basically free shit certainly is a recipe for disaster here, and abroad.

I first visited Europe during the summer of 1963. Worked in London for 2 months and traveled to France, Italy and Yugoslavia for a month. It was a great adventure and learning experience. The changes in recent years are hard to take. A few years ago I was in Paris with my wife and several in-laws. We rented a large flat on a grand boulevard, with a balcony and a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Split 8 ways it was affordable. Down below dwelled a horde of immigrants, trash everywhere. Sleeping in tents and makeshift shelters, mattresses on the sidewalk. During the day the men sat or stood about idly, talking in small groups. Judging by your report things have gotten much worse.

It is true. My recent trip westerly brought me face to face with the reality that Change is what happens except in still life paintings. And even those sometimes fade.

I purchased this still life painting/print during a jaunt to a little art show held in Oklahoma City, annually at that time (1997). I have no idea why I bought it at the time. My son was four; he was probably memorizing Galations 5:22 for his Sunday School lesson.

Times have indeed changed.

I did the briefest of drive-by to the old Myriad Gardens park where the Tribal Artists would host those wonderful regional art fairs! That complex seems to have been replaced by a really devoted following to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

I don’t know what the Tribal Artists do to sell their paintings now. I suppose they sell them in the Casino gift shops. Things do change.

I see the beginnings of change even in the most resistant of institutions to change: rural churches.
I believe some ministries are geared toward and devoted to the idea that government assistance is “gifted from God.” I am almost shocked to realize the large numbers of people I believe to be like-minded but old-fashioned who are pursuing the gravy train promised by the disability bandwagon. I myself have witnessed first-hand how very generous our benevolent masters can be when dispensing the bait prior to the switch. I bumped into a few former military friends now drawing 100% VA Pension tax-free PLUS SSI PLUS any retirement they earned or saved on their own and PLUS, if they served 20 years, like my husband, their military retired pay. So, as conservative and patriotic as they might seem to be long-distance, up close they appear to be lined up at the same trough for handouts.

And, I’ll tell you what else. I visited with Dale Graham briefly at the Dale Graham Veterans Foundation and will tell you that he is processing a couple hundred applications for new service-connected Veterans Administration pensioners every single week. It is mind-boggling.

I have mixed emotions about it, quite honestly. Some of those young men with damaged limbs deserve every bit of help they can get. Others, like myself, deserve it on a technicality. (My injury was by an AF surgeon, which seems less honorable, somehow, than having one’s leg blown off in combat. Just sayin’)

I know more than one preacher out here in Bugtussle who is drawing a really large government pension for one or another disability incurred during or after military service. There is an amazing increase in that sort of disability award to these young men returning from the middle east conflicts.

My husband and I recently discussed how horrified our parents’ generation was, in general, at having a child or family member on “the welfare dole.” In fact, we both remember family members stepping up with the rare hundred dollar bill to help someone through without “shaming” the family by applying for, ahem, government assistance.

Now? it is apparently the first place to go and the entire church will pray you get a big award. How things have changed, indeed.

As they must. But does it always have to be such a slide toward the gutter?

Twenty-two years ago! I wonder if this guy still sells prints and paintings?

There is a definite influence of medical marijuana in the old military community. Change comes in small, sealed packages sometimes. In spite of believing people have every right to grow and use any plant they want for any reason they want unless it impacts another person, I have to admit the “medical marijuana industry” seems to have a sinister aspect.

I’ve not seen those streets around the base for almost three years.

It is a whole new world full of green crosses indicating a medical dispensary of marijuana.

How appalling. (Military bases have always been a bit on the seedy side. The back gate at Tinker is surrounded by Military Industrial Giants. Boeing, Northrup, General Dynamics and so on… the usual suspects.

Many who are basically good people line up for benefits because they were stolen from them in the firs place. They may not have thought that through but that is their unconscious logic. Getting theirs back while they can. Are we headed for a civilization collapse ala western Rome? Civil war?

Exactly the feeling on behalf of the veterans I spoke with… the feeling is that “THEY” are giving it all away to illegal immigrants and the thieves running Boeing and Northrup Grumman, so the Veterans might as well get what they can while the getting is good.

I generally do not buy in to the idea that this stuff was intentionally done. I am more of a “do not attribute to malice that which can be attributed to stupidity instead” kind of a guy. Stupid has repercussions, especially when combined with politicians and the rich acting in their own short-term self-interests. I certainly believe there are entrenched elites playing a long game, wringing their hands in glee. But never underestimate the capacity for stupid that exists.

But if they were stupid they would be migrating to Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Asia in equal numbers, wouldn’t they? But they know where to head, so they’re smart enough to figure that out. And there are plenty of special interests that go out of their way to facilitate it, so they must know what they’re doing too, considering the demographic changes in such a short time span.

No, it’s deliberate. Whether there is malice in it or not, the end result is the same.

There is no stupidity involved in the demographic displacement of the Europeans, it is a deliberate and calculated set of policies and beneficiaries, every one of whom know full well what they are doing. It may not be malicious to them, but as an American Indian you understand full well the final impact of that kind of migration.

This is addressed to Dutchman, Javelin and others of your ilk. I have heard and read your lame, sophomoric jokes about hillbillies in general and West Virginians in particular since I moved here in 1972.
This area was settled by strong , indeed fearless people of Anglo-Saxon stock, back when it was still Indian territory. They carved out homesteads in the wilderness and survived. Some were renegades, some were escaped indentured servants and some were likely Anglo slaves. In WWll West Virginia soldiers had the highest mortality rate among all the the states, not because they were stupid hillbillies but because they were among the most courageous. These were men who grew up on farms and in the woods and knew how to shoot a rifle and were willing to fight for their country. After the war many of the best and most adventuesome moved away to other states, where they would not have to work in the deep mines or eke out a meager living on a too small family farm. Those who remained were either too attached to their homes and family to leave or already had good jobs in industry or other niches. These are good people and I really do not understand the snide putdowns of people like you who have never been here. Yes, there is a serious problem with opioid drugs and obesity and general ignorance. But it is not as you think. There are still a majority of people here who are among the best in this country, hard working, willing to help a neighbor or stranger. If and when it all comes down I would rather be here.

Redneck humor is fine, especially coming from an insider. Why did the blonde get so excited about finishing a jigsaw puzzle in six months?

Because the box said it was for “2 to 4 years.”

I live in Ashland, KY, a Northeastern Kentucky river town. We too have the dopers but they are quickly dying out, and strong minded people will be the survivors. I am fond of telling people that once the political turmoil blows up the U.S., we will be the safer ones for we don’t live in a state where the whole state is run by high population Democrat shit hole cities that control the rural areas populated by powerless people of opposite politics. We also don’t have any of the diversity problems, and we have LOTS of guns that no one will ever give up.

Clinker,
I too lived in a small river town until last year. Now I am back on the farm 10 minutes away. I like your sentiment that the strong will survive. People here are clannish, going back to their Celtic/Anglo roots. They look out for one another. When our untamed river occasionally floods there are hot meals in the firehouse, donated clothing and household goods in the churches and thrift stores, volunteers cleaning up, and a widespread community pulling together. Appalachians doing their best to “keep on keepin’ on”.

Thanks, HSF. I miss the Europe that I knew, for sure. Forty years ago I took a trip by rickety train with wooden benches, accompanied by hundreds of furloughed soldiers, from Madrid to Granada, that took around 12 hours. The revelry was great. That experience, and the joy of those young men, are permanently etched in my memory. That era is gone.

It’s no better here if the government is involved. Today I watched L A Harbor Dept employees pouring concrete in a hole surrounding an electrical vault. One guy watching, one guy holding the concrete vibrator, one guy holding the vibrator head and one guy to move the little hand held generator powering the vibrator. For a hole about ten by twenty feet. It took several carpenters two weeks to make the forms and place rebar. It’s probably a $50k hole.

Mixing the observations on the street with tax evasion, so paying taxes to the corrupt state enabling this, is considered a good thing here. Yes, these people don’t like to pay, especially the Greek are not brainwashed like we Germans. They got way more real estate too. And the Germans get mocked by the press, with news like “Germans like to rent, so what”, and don’t get it. Yes, the picture of the streets has changed here, but there is much less doom than reported.
If you want a break from the hordes, I can recommend South Korea, it was a experience for me to ride the sub without seeing brown people, and being observed myself the same time. Go there quick, they are working hard to change these countries too. I know a Indonesian guy, who became a medical doctor in Japan. There is even a program to give abandoned Japanese houses to strangers. It’s just the 68s, they have arrived in the institutions, no relief in sight, the agenda is executed, while we watch the AOC Trump Pizza dog and pony show.

A Lament for something lost.

Seems that Europe, at least the Western part, has succumbed to the joys of Intersectionality. The apple is now rotten at its core. The worm is buried deep inside.

It certainly is something to behold. The Post Modern World is The Brave New World, where the goal is to be categorized on a spectrum from Alphas to Gammas. Aldous Huxley was too optimistic when attempted to predict when this would happen. It wasn’t several hundred years in future. It is now.

This travelogue makes clear that it is probably too late for Western Europe.
It has succumbed to the Grievance Industrial Complex.

Marxists, once the enemy at gate, have now found shelter. Having smashed the creche, they have thrown the bits asunder. The gates being breached with Identity seen the key. The cards being played now are Victim Mentality… All the while, with their Open Society. The Elites stay safe. Behind walls that protect. Immune they laugh for all to see.

And yet in face of overwhelming evidence. There are still folks still clinging to quaint leftists ideals. Pandering with their denials to accusations of Racism, Xenophobia and Misogyny. That are made to destroy everything held dear. Done, I suppose, to assuage any fears of cognitive dissonance.

Case in point this man

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfWq4fIy8eY

He did the right thing and still got thrown under bus.

And yet this Man, wronged so badly, still thought it wise to take time to Bash Trump, vowing to continue to vote for likes of Erica Thomas and the Squad now being led by the crazy eyes of AOC…

You know, I have never carried an Uzi of any sort. But this man has shot one and his claim is that it works quite well.

Of course, carrying it would be a bit of a chore as it is quite large and still only loads out to 31 rounds. You can do that with a glock 19 and you can get a 9mm double stack for way less weight. In fact, where you live you could go with the standard mag and happily shoot anyone you happened to run into. But in the end, I doubt that anyone would agree with your contention that an Uzi is finicky. In fact, I suspect that most would content that 9mm is just not all that effective and definitely won’t work on bears.

Great writing, as always! Unfortunately, all true. I highly recommend my ancestral homeland, Hungary. Viktor Orban has not given into the insanity that grips much of Europe. Hungary will remain a Christian country, a country that values its heritage and encourages its native population to have many children to increase its population. Not import a bunch of turd worlders to replace the natives. At the rate the US Govt is spending money they don’t have the total collapse of the dollar and our bogus “markets” gets closer every day. It’s not politics, it’s math and it simply cant go on. What you have described is a failure of civility. I often think of what kind of a world my dear grandchildren(7 and 8) will inherit. The communists will take over in the near future, that much is certain. As bad as things are now, the dystopian future under the tutelage of the Bolshies is infinitely worse. I am reminded that when Bill Clinton was running for president, his handlers knew there would be many “bimbo attacks.” They told him to just keep hammering on the economy ( ‘muricans always vote with their pocket books.) It is said he kept a sign on his desk as a constant reminder “IT’S the ECONOMY STUPID.” The rest is history.
We are constantly reminded by Trump and the MSM of how great the economy is doing and we added X-millions of jobs every month and the stock market is at record highs.
I am reminded of scripture Matthew 25: 38-39, “For as the days were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not UNTIL THE FLOOD CAME AND TOOK THEM ALL AWAY…”

If there is one thing I’ve observed about whites vs. nonwhites it’s that they dislike living like sardines in a can, even if it’s with their own kind.

Nonwhites don’t seem to have much of a problem cramming 12 people into a two bedroom apartment, regardless of what the lease or fire and building codes say.

Hitler also had no problem with Islam and had many divisions of allied troops that were Muslim. He also considered the Persians to be “Aryan” and inspired their current national name, Iran / Iranians (both based on Aryan). While I guarantee he wouldn’t be happy with the current state of Europe, don’t pretend he was some anti-Muslim crusader.

Abandoning common courtesy, rule of law, and there is too much incentive for slothlike behavior.
Using pity and fairness as the crutches, as we amble toward insolvency and violence.
I weep for the little ones in my sphere.
I’ll be gone I suspect, by the time they turn 30, but their world looks more bleak than ever.
They don’t deserve the clusterphock they’re going to unwillingly and unknowingly inherit.
It didn’t have to be this way.

It is depressing to see the world fall apart as it is. I have a hope many do not that I try to share. It changes everything. Perhaps someday you’ll find it worth some exploration. Provides that “peaceful easy feeling…”, but does take some time to develop.

Romans 5:3-5 KJB… “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

Knowing the love of a God in this intensely falsified and hatefully manipulated world is truly a game changer. Easy to see most eyes here are open to the evil. No reason to remain focused solely upon it. There remains still a tremendous force for good.

Rothschild Banking turned the world into a giant Malthus Jar via Elegant Counterfeiting, creating 99 new dollars for every one in existence in 1913. A blind rule of law binds society into a cohesive unit. When the small potatoes are reasonably assured they are treated in the same manner as the wealthy, there is order. When they aren’t, there is no longer a reason to continue on with that arrangement; the compact has been broken.

We’re there already but it is kept under wraps by the deficit being papered over with the exorbitant privilege of our reserve currency. Once that comes unglued, the nation (society, if you will) will Balkanize.

Facts and basic mathematics have a pesky way of enlightening even the blind once the functions go pear-shaped. Until then, there’s not a damn thing we can do except to become self-sustaining. We need to be there in the darkest of times to help guide folks to liberty.

Thanks for the post. I am not as widely traveled, but I agree on all points. One of the suicidal impulses surging through today’s cultures is the notion of diversity. Throughout human history homogeneity has always been a survival trait for a group, with distrust of strangers promoting safety. A stranger could be accepted into a group once he shows that he doesn’t violate the basis the group has for trusting each other. This acceptance would be because of cultural kinship and is unrelated to the racial traits of the individual. Skin color isn’t an issue, but sloth or aggression are.
So when the wheels inevitably come off the vehicle of civilization, we will have indigenous populations with an accepted set of cultural values interspersed with smaller unassimilated foreign cultures. Without some rapid adapting of the base culture of the area, it will go poorly for the interlopers. I suppose it will go poorly for everyone, but it will be worse if you are in an area that is not your expressed culture..

At first I read “Horseshoe Headman” then, immediately, changed it to the more politically correct, “Horseshoe Headperson” then wondered if knowing how to find the Head Person would involve four kneepads instead of two in this case?

And, knowing you? You probably get that and then some.

Why does an elephant have four feet? I have a brief respite from the chores, with a basket of tomatoes simmering in the pressure cooker in 9 quart jars at 12-15 psi. Approximately three atmospheres, I think. I could be wrong about the atmospheres. I get Earth’s and Moon’s atmosphere confused when pressure cooking.

Both salsa and spaghetti sauce taste weird in space.

Have decided, after spending a full week unpacking and recovering from a single week on the road, I am too old to travel without better drugs. Dayummm…. (thanks mygirl… where is she, by the way?) I have become accustomed to driving in the Ozarks, where a traffic jam consists of a big tractor load of hay or a truck carrying logs slowing a dozen cars to a 30 mph crawl.

So, driving around Oklahoma City and Norman (with a brief jaunt south of the Red River) in traffic involved a surreal perception that things appeared to be both CHANGED while being the same. For example, I saw the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication and Mass Media World Domination right there by the newly named Gaylord Memorial OU Stadium grounds (or whatever) and remembered how reviled the Gaylords had been when I attended the H.H. Herbert School of Journalism at OU for a couple years before the Gaylords donated tens of millions of dollars to David Boren. It is interesting how ideals and values change concurrently with the transfer of monies. In every case.

So, the campus largely looks the same with some additional buildings and enormous parking facilities. Wow! There are some shovel ready jobs for you. Norman is exploding in growth. As are all of the surrounding communities. I must have heard several radio commercials asking people to apply to open a medical marijuarna dispensary in their neighborhood to give their local community access to the medical miracle of marijuana AND to generate funds for local community in tax revenue.

Cha Ching!

I think it requires four kneepads, though two might suffice on soft ground or in hay.

A 90% or greater single ethnicity is a historical prerequisite for a long-term stable and peaceful society (though no guarantee.) Short of chopping up what was once the West into new, smaller balkanized nations on ethnic lines we will see more and more of the opposite of stable and peaceful, though I’m not sure how you’ll ever overcome the desire of the 3rd world to live where white people are. It’s actually surprising the US is still holding together at all.

E. Michael Jones says that if a Nigerian moves to Poland, becomes fluent in Polish and converts to Catholicism, then that person is Polish. Would you agree with that statement? To me, you’ve also got to have the blood part–the kin (or “racial purity” as you suggest). So I’m not so easily able to cross that bridge with Jones’s definition of nationality. The Jews know this and nobody calls them out on their ethno-state/racial purity. Malaysians think the Chinese are inferior, as do the Mongolians think similarly about the Chinese. Yet the Chinese seem to have a pretty high regard for themselves in history and ruling that part of their world. First Nations of the Americas warred to preserve themselves among other tribes/nations, ultimately not understanding the multitude of Europeans that would be arriving and displacing them (sort of seems to be an American tradition in 2019 now). There is no “Wakanda” for my people to go back to if you mess up my nations with this “vibrant” experiment, so yeah, pardon me if epithets like “alt-right” are powerless here. The end game seems to be to mix humanity into one easily-manipulated, crossbred organism with as few of us as needed to maintain the top-seated “racial purists” with little hats. Not going to happen if enough sensible people say NO and I suspect we are now approaching a point in the timeline where at least 10% of the population is realizing that things your side are claiming just ain’t so.

TC, you are exactly right that smaller balkanized nations have a much greater chance of being stable and peaceful. And I agree that it is surprising that the US is still holding together. However it probably won’t hold together indefinitely. It is eventually going to break up. It would be a lot better if the US could manage some sort of peaceful separation, but it will more likely be the result of violence like another civil war. Most people just can’t even think outside the box enough to consider a peaceful separation or secession, so instead we are going to get a very messy one, with no assurance that the new borders will be logical. They will just as likely be as random as the current borders in the Middle East, which is one of the main reasons there is so much violence over there. (Actually, they aren’t random in the Middle East. The British and French deliberately drew the boundaries that way after WW I to create as much conflict as possible to make it easier to divide and conquer. The people in the Middle East would be a lot better off if they could cooperate enough to re-draw their borders to match their ethnic and religious divisions, but they obviously aren’t smart enough to do that.)

One of the main benefits of separating the US into three different countries is that the left could destroy its country without destroying the entire US. But instead the leftists are going to drag the whole country down because those on the right won’t cut them loose.

My fear for expats is that hard times create serious xenophobia. It’s just the way human nature works. Irish immigrants got the shit kicked out of them in NYC when they refused to get drafted into the Union. They spoke English, they looked like most New Yorkers, they were Christian, they worked hard. However, the differences (Catholic vs. Protestant), no matter how slight, always outweigh the similarities when hard times hit.

So, why are those unwashed hordes everywhere? Perhaps because the US bombed the crap out of their countries and homes in the quest for a fascist kind of world domination? Why would say Hondurans be rushing the gates to get in the US? It couldn’t be because Hillary and Obama crushed the democratic government and installed a corporate dictator and threw their society into chaos. Not much.
Mass immigration isn’t a good thing. It displaces the poorest members of society who have to compete with desperate immigrants for the jobs they depend on. The corporate thieves who own this country couldn’t care less who gets hurt so continue their war crimes and crimes against humanity.
You want to stop illegal immigration? Hold the war criminals responsible for their horrendous crimes and demand they face justice. Until that’s done, we’re all at risk because what does a person who would drone a wedding care about anyone? They don’t. If they could they would have us all killed for profit.

Good to hear from you again Llpoh. Very perceptive analysis! I don’t know why, but it reminds me what George Bernard Shaw wrote “The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.”

Your mention of the corruption of Mediterranean peoples has long been a mystery to me. It’s no coincidence that they had all once been conquered by Rome, but I’ve never had anyone explain how that would lead to their slave mentality today (slave vs master.)

Learn to embrace the suck. It is true that the brown/black tide of low IQ semi-literate Muslims and pagan Africans has overwhelmed Europe. I lived in Vienna early to mid-1990s and traveled extensively in all of the countries of Eastern Europe and the Former USSR….a universal truth was that the farther West the country….the better….e.g. Poland is civilized and filled with industrious, smart well-educated folks……as were Czech, Hungary, Slovenia and then the levels start dropping rapidly in Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, and then down again into the Caucusus Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan etc. Moscow and St. Pete was just OK and the rest of Russia was a peasant filled shithole and don’t get me started on Central Asia…..sweet Jesus was a bunch of shitholes.

Unfortunately, Western Europe and even Hungary and Poland will end up like the Balkans……the former Yugoslavia, an artificial construct of ethnic Slavs, Non-Slavs and Muslims…..a petri dish that ended up exploding in spectacular bloodshed and anarchy. I know I was there for parts of the shitshow. 500+ years of Muslim abuse left many scores that were settled, the Nazi supporting Utashe and a few bones to pick with the Slav Commies and generally the area is filled with the most racist, hateful, drunk nasty fuckers on the planet……literally hell on earth. That is the sad future of Western Europe.

America is only slightly better off with our LatAm invaders who are at least Christian and for the most part, are very hard workers though culturally they are not predisposed to individual liberty but stoic serfdom……or perfect Democrat drones.

When I arrived in Vienna you could eat off the floor of the subway cars…..immaculate. Everything was clean, the food excellent and the beer sheer bliss. Then the “refugees” from the Balkans began appearing….and that was that. Just as LLPOH described. There had long been a Turkish worker class in Austria and Germany, that spoke fluent German and seemed pretty well integrated, taxi drivers, newspaper stands, factories etc……similar to our Mexican guest workers of 40 years ago…even the Turks were disgusted by the Balkans folks.

Now this tide of human detritus has been accelerated by Commie NGO (Soros and team), welcomed by leftist governments and is actively displacing Europeans in many places (France, Scandinavia, Germany, UK etc.)…I think it is too late and the Sons of Odin, warnings from Tommy Robinson or even the stalwart efforts of Orban in Hungary will perhaps slow the invasion down a little but not change the outcome. Europe is lost.

Hmmm……So when the Muslims take over France and the UK……do we pre-emptively bomb them to destroy the nukes?

In America we can only self segregate and dig in….there is nowhere to run, the is no new frontier (except in space) where we can escape…..we will fight and win or die in the attempt. So think very carefully about your grandchildren’s future…..what are you prepared to sacrifice today to increase the odds of survival of your grandkids? Would you be willing to downsize your life and move to a more remote location? GIve up that big paycheck in Atlanta for a chance to survive in Idaho?

Most Americans have not even begun to think about this…..they are far too busy trying to get the next house, the next promotion…..soccer practice etc. We are a dead civilization walking and most don’t even know it.

Hopefully, LLPOH’s article will start folks thinking longer-term and making some strategic choices.

I suspect it will come to pass that a socialist government takes over in America……where do you want to be when that happens?

An interesting aside – many non-Greeks work in service, and the youth unemployment rate in Greece is 40+ percent.

Whenever I asked Greeks about this, I was told there is no way in hell that young Greeks would ever do that work – they are too “entitled” – as they feel there degrees in sociology, etc., entitle them to government office jobs and such. And they live with their parents who give them enough money to go out, drink, smoke, etc.

And there is one reason they do not stop the flow of immigrants. Who would do the menial work, as it seems Greeks will not. But Albanians will, it seems. They were everywhere.

regarding blacks,i spent many years in the home service insurance biz & back in the 80 s it was common for people, esp blacks, to head east of tampa to pick fruit, veggies and citrus–
it’s rare to see now–as society has become more prosperous,it’s harder to get people to do menial, tough jobs–

Blacks will still pick watermelon. Unfortunately, none of those melons ever make it to market.

(I hope AOC doesn’t see that. She will cry and try to expose me to the world!)

Yep, I grew up in the Tampa area……lots of whites and blacks worked in the fields and at Singleton’s shrimp processing plant…..that was a nasty place to work in the heat and stench and covered in slime!

Llpoh, I want more. Great article. I visited Europe a couple decades ago. No way in hell I’m going back now. I don’t even want to visit Atlanta, and its an hour away.

Family, knowledge and skills. That’s my focus now.

Please post more, I love your insight on manufacturing and business.

Well, has anyone quoted Walt Whitman lately?

“I have heard what the talkers were talking, the
talk of the beginning and the end,
But I do not talk of the beginning or the end.

There was never any more inception than there is now,
Nor any more youth or age than there is now,
And will never be any more perfection than there is now,
Nor any more heaven or hell than there is now.

Urge, and urge, and urge,
Always the procreant urge of the world.”

Procreant. That’s a funny word.

https://whitmanarchive.org/published/LG/1856/poems/1

“A child said, What is the grass? fetching it to me
with full hands;
How could I answer the child? I do not know
what it is any more than he.

I guess it must be the flag of my disposition, out
of hopeful green stuff woven.

Or I guess it is the handkerchief of the Lord
A scented gift and remembrancer, designedly dropped,
Bearing the owner’s name someway in the corners,
that we may see and remark, and say Whose?

Or I guess the grass is itself a child, the produced
babe of the vegetation.

Or I guess it is a uniform hieroglyphic,
And it means, Sprouting alike in broad zones and narrow zones,
Growing among black folks as among white,
Kanuck, Tuckahoe, Congressman, Cuff, I give them the same,
I receive them the same.

And now it seems to me the beautiful uncut hair of graves.”

This poem came to my mind recently while I was at a graveyard actually on site at Tinker AFB. Just on the edge of the golf course, so no beautiful uncut hair for those graves.. Those graves have lovely manicured hair, Mr. Whitman.

I suspect General Tinker’s bones might actually be there.

O powerful western fallen star!
O shades of night—O moody, tearful night!
O great star disappear’d—O the black murk that hides the star!
O cruel hands that hold me powerless—O helpless soul of me!
O harsh surrounding cloud that will not free my soul.

In the dooryard fronting an old farm-house near the white-wash’d palings,
Stands the lilac-bush tall-growing with heart-shaped leaves of rich green,
With many a pointed blossom rising delicate, with the perfume strong I love,
With every leaf a miracle—and from this bush in the dooryard,
With delicate-color’d blossoms and heart-shaped leaves of rich green,
A sprig with its flower I break.

“…Passing, I leave thee lilac with heart-shaped leaves,
I leave thee there in the door-yard, blooming, returning with spring.

I cease from my song for thee,
From my gaze on thee in the west, fronting the west, communing with thee,
O comrade lustrous with silver face in the night…”

It is the stanzas between which fill the graveyards with lilacs.

So what’s up with all the poetry?
How about this tear-jerker?

I saw a sparrow,
In the snow.
It’s wing was broken,
This I know.
I lured him to me,
With bits of bread,
And then I stomped,
His fuckin’ head.

Kinda gets to ya don’t it?

OK, it’s been years, but here’s what I remember: world in chaos because nobody is able to reproduce. Clive Owen (token average white guy) ultimately sacrifices his life to transport to a safe place the world’s last hope: a pregnant, single brown chick. Owen is great. The dystopia presentation and overall action is good, but the theme is just so tiresome.

To summarize, I see no way forward for the DISUNITED STATES, at this time. There are too many people, too stupid, doing too little, reliant on too few, with too many that are corrupt, with no unique national cultures remaining to draw people together.

Love these first hand reports.

The quickest way to destroy a civilization(assuming we have one) is to destroy the family. The second quickest way to destroy a civilization is the false belief that all men are created equal. Actually, all humans are created equal in that God has granted every human a spark of himself, which, we have the opportunity to become one with… but humans are BORN WHOLLY UNEQUAL.

So, remind anyone of the one party which is pushing these two civilization destroying agendas?

It is the family which was intended to be the cornerstone of this Grand Experient. With the power of the vote settled onto the “head of household.”

Now, head of household is probably a banned term.

tc,
while reading your link at takimag i also read this–it’s funny but sad–

WASHINGTON POST CALLS LION KING MOVIE “FASCIST”
As everyone knows, Walt Disney was a virulent Jew-hating bigot, so even though he’s been dead for more than 50 years, it’s no surprise that his namesake media corporation continues to churn out endless propaganda that lionizes Hitler and crushes the weak under its iron bootheels.

We should therefore be thankful to the point of soiling our diapers and doubling our antidepressant dosage that Utrecht University media studies professor Dan Hassler-Forest, a man with a face that no woman has ever lubricated over, is brave enough to call out Disney in a wonderful and insightful new essay for the Washington Post.

Because Hollywood hasn’t had any new ideas in a couple generations, there is a new Lion King movie, and Hassler-Forest takes it to task for essentially being a remake of Triumph of the Will, one of the few movies which actually hasn’t had a remake or a sequel:

‘The Lion King’ is a fascistic story. No remake can change that….No matter how you look at it, this is a film that introduces us to a society where the weak have learned to worship at the feet of the strong…it places the audience’s point of view squarely with the autocratic lions, whose Pride Rock literally looks down upon all of society’s weaker groups — a kind of Trump Tower of the African savanna….With the lions standing in for the ruling class, and the “good” herbivores embodying society’s decent, law-abiding citizens, the hyenas transparently represent the black, brown and disabled bodies that are forcefully excluded from this hierarchical society.

What our society actually needs is a sequel of the Nuremberg Trials for anyone who has ever enjoyed a Disney movie.
