I could be wrong, but I think they were actually playing those instruments!

I like Kendrick Lamar, but I don’t think he could tell you what key any of his songs are in. “Key? Q? K? R?” Yeah, that’s right, Kendrick – it’s in R minor.

Chicago was never “cool”, but the horns always mixed well with the sound of cicadas. Evocative.

The sound was OK – at first. Then all the tunes sounded the same.

Ah, the old days… when a man wearing a dress and having his dick cut off was still considered unusual.

How about Ilhan Omar bangin’ that Dr’s husband?

Beth Mynett said in her court filing that Tim Mynett’s “extensive travel” with Omar is likely unrelated to his work with E. Street Group. (RELATED: Washington DC Mom Says Her Husband Left Her Over Affair With Ilhan Omar)

Do you wear a dress, Iska? Couture or off the rack?
I don’t want to know about the dick.

If nothing else, Chicago made great ‘driving music’.

Related to Chicago note: I recently went to see a band called “Leonid and Friends” in Pasadena. They’re a cover band doing Chicago songs primarily but also Blood, Sweat and Tears and Earth, Wind and Fire.
The kicker is they’re all Ukranian. Leonid wrote out the arrangement to one of their songs a few years ago on a lark. Based solely on what he heard (original scores not available). Then he got a few friends to play it and they all loved it.
They suggested he transcribe some more songs and it turned into a thing.
A member of the original Chicago saw a video they made and put it on Chicago’s official website.
This eleven member touring group sound amazing. The renditions of the songs are note for note as good as the original studio recordings.
If you like original Chicago music look them up on YouTube then find out when they’re playing near you.
You won’t be disappointed. Best live show I’ve ever seen hands down.

A few years back I caught Chicago touring with Earth, Wind & Fire. Great show! Always liked Chicago, even when they were spouting “revolutionary” nonsense (see the jackets of some of their earlier albums). Closing the show, both bands took the stage and played each others’ music on their own instruments!
