It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Interesting story about this song.

Learned about the whole thing several years ago due to the my daughter’s high school orchestra playing it, and the bulletin listed The Rolling Stones as composers.

I always enjoyed the original video. 500+ million views is huge. Shows a young man committed to blazing his own trail irrespective of anyone in his way. A trailblazer, if you will, marching to the beat of his own drummer. And, in all likelihood, right after shooting more than a mere modicum of smack.

When I play my D harp to this, one of my dogs will come running from the other end of the house and sing like nobody’s business. He didn’ t use to, but now he’s all in, He needs his own Martin I guess. He’s pretty good, the old mutt.. Dog’s can be expensive..
