If a district attorney in the most conservative state in the union takes it to a grand jury, and the grand jury – upon hearing of the “upward of 60 shots fired” – indicts, perhaps a trial is warranted. He’ll get a jury of his peers, which, in Oklahoma, should be plenty cop-friendly. In general, cops being wrongly charged with crimes isn’t high on the list of injustices in this country.
