Iran Evaluating 13 Retaliation Scenarios To Inflict “Historic Nightmare” On US

Via ZeroHedge

Breaking a 5-day silence over its response for the US killing of General Qassem Soleimani, on Tuesday Iran said it was assessing 13 scenarios to inflict a “historic nightmare” on the US. “Even if the weakest of these scenarios gain a consensus, its implementation can be a historic nightmare for the Americans,” Ali Shamkhani, the head of Iran’s national security council, was cited by Fars news agency, adding that, “For now, for intelligence reasons, we cannot provide more information to the media.”

Iranian officials previously said that U.S. forces in the region will be targets, and overnight the Iranian parliament on Tuesday designated the Pentagon and affiliated companies as terrorists. In response, the U.S. issued a warning to shipping in the Middle East over the possibility of Iranian action against U.S. maritime interests, the Associated Press reported, citing a statement.

Soleimani’s death has rippled through the Middle East, with the U.S. and its allies on high alert for a retaliation attack by Iran.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s foreign minister, said Tuesday that the U.S. would suffer consequences for the killing of Soleimani “at a time and place of Iran’s choosing.” Zarif added the U.S. must leave the Middle East and warned that if they don’t, a new multi-generational war could erupt.

The leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, told tens of thousands on Tuesday for the burial of Soleimani in the city of Kerman that Iran was ready to “set ablaze those places Americans hold dear” over the killing of the former commander. Thousands chanted “revenge, revenge,” as the IRGC leader declared “we will take revenge. The revenge will be vigorous and unwavering, woeful, and terminal.”

“We will surely take revenge, but if America dares takes any action, we will set alight those places Americans hold dear. They know where those places are.”

Earlier, President Trump outlined 52 Iranian sites that U.S. forces would attack if Iran dares to retaliate.

And while the world await for Iran to pick one or more of the 13 scenarios, on Monday the Pentagon dispatched additional forces to the Middle East, even as conflicting signs emerged about Washington’s commitment to remaining in Iraq.

The three-ship Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group was ordered to move to the Persian Gulf region from the Mediterranean, where it has been exercising, according to a U.S. official. The group, which includes about 2,200 Marines and a helicopter unit, follows the deployment of about 3,500 soldiers from the Army’s 82nd Airborne to Kuwait late last week.

Iran can do no more damage to America than the Bolsheviks and Zionists who control the Federal government have not already done.

Iran is playing a fool’s game. To keep poking Trump is a bad idea. He is not Obama.

I have been watching with amusement the back and forth on TBP the last few days. That this simple truth is missed by so many is amazing.

The US is not in the Middle East to protect Israel from the Muslims, but rather to protect the Muslims from Israel. Without the US constraining Israel, they would long ago have expanded their borders and eliminated the various threats.

The US should stay out and allow the chips to fall as they may.

Oh, yes, and do not forget the oil. Oil is hard to extract from glassed-over sand.

Is that why the Federal government gifts 10 million dollars a day to Israel? To protect Muslims?

Yep. The US is buying Israel not opening a can of whoop ass on the Muslims, grabbing all of Lebanon, glassing over Iran in particular, etc. Those funds allow for US influence, and provide Israel with the wherewithal to have defensive capability instead of just massive offensive capability in the form of nukes.

You think without US intervention Israel would not already rule all the surrounding areas currently held by the goatherds?

Of course they do. – they carry the “we can blow up the Middle East “ card. The US should get out and allow the chips to fall where they may. My bet is that Israel would rule the entire Middle East, at least its remnants, in short order. But I think they may have left it a bit long. It would have been more certain 30 years ago.

The Bible is about 1/3rd prophecy…and this one in my opinion is coming soon to Elam (Iran). The Iranians have built their hinkey Russian clap trap nuclear reactor on top of one of the greatest fault lines in the world, not too bright, but it is in a mountain. Be a shame if somebody dropped a bomb on it, or there was a Chernobyl type accident or…an act of God earthquake.

Those who have studied and understand the pinpoint accuracy of past Bible prophecy, know it is not a matter of ‘if’ what is prophesied will happen…but ‘when’.

I suspect the when is sooner rather than later by: bombing, accident or earthquake.

THE DESTRUCTION OF IRAN: JEREMIAH 49 (check out the map in the link)

https://www.christianevidence.net/2018/06/the-destruction-of-iran-jeremiah-49.html

“Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might” (Jeremiah 49:35

There is another prophecy concerning Iran that possibly precedes the Gog and Magog scenario outlined by Ezekiel. In Jeremiah 49:34-39, we are told that Elam will come under the judgement of God for conspiring to launch an attack against Israel in the “latter days”. Modern day Iran is comprised of ancient Elam (about one-tenth) and Persia. This prophecy concerning Iran has not yet been fulfilled but seems to align with Iran’s current nuclear aspirations! Let’s see the prophecy in Jeremiah 49:35-39…

35 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

Jeremiah predicts that Elam will be struck at the foremost place of its strength. Today, this could infer an attack upon Iran’s growing nuclear program. One of Iran’s most strategic and vulnerable nuclear targets is the Bushehr nuclear reactor, located in the heart of ancient Elam.

Jeremiah also predicts that Iran will suffer the fate of a broken bow. When your bow is broken, you cannot load the arrows from out of your quiver, or in a modern sense, the missiles out of your silo. This might imply that the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) will be unable to launch scores of its missiles (arrows in modern warfare are missiles) at its enemies.

36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

Jeremiah then warns that after the attack the affected populations are forced to scatter from the area. This could be the result of Iranian’s attempting to flee from an isolated nuclear disaster. Should the Bushehr nuclear reactor be struck, this becomes a very real possibility because the facility is loaded with Russian supplied fuel rods. John Bolton, former US Ambassador to the UN, said in 2010, “Israel’s got a problem, because once the fuel rods are inserted into the reactor, an attack … would almost certainly release the radiation into the atmosphere”. Several other studies conducted of the safety of the Bushehr nuclear site have concluded that an accident at the facility could result in such a disaster. The radioactive mess would cause a mass exodus of peoples in the surrounding area (a worldwide dispersion of the Iranian people just as prophesied)!

37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

From the scripture we can derive the Lord is angry with Iran which results in some disaster in Iran.

38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the Lord.

39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord.

Jeremiah’s prophecy also points out the Lord will set His throne in Elam. Iranians who accept Christ in advance of His second coming will be returned from global exile into the restored fortunes of their historic homeland in Elam. Interestingly, for the last few years Iran has been experiencing one of the largest revivals on earth. From approximately 500 believers in 1979 [the year of the Iranian Revolution], to several million today, Iran is the fastest-growing evangelical population in the world! Christianity is burgeoning so rapidly that the rogue Islamic regime has instituted harsh policies to curb its growth.

The most likely fulfillment of this prophecy will occur when the nuclear reactor is destroyed, either by the Israelis or by an earthquake, releasing radiation that will force the evacuation of the whole area. Take note that the region where Bushehr is located in Elam is active earthquake country, and it sits on a tectonic plate.

The Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant is physically separated from greater Iran (Persia) by the Zagros Mountain range. The rapid elevation change due to the Zagros Mountain range would likely protect most of Iran from the meltdown allowing them to attack as one of the nations of Magog another day. Interestingly, Ezekiel was familiar with Elam, according to Ezekiel 32:24–25, but he did not include Elam in the lineup of invaders in Ezekiel 38, perhaps because it is destroyed by then.

Written more than 2,600 years ago, Jeremiah may have predicted the fate of Iran’s nuclear program and today’s spiritual showdown in Iran! What are the odds of that?
