Thousands of fetal remains found in Illinois are buried in Indiana: ‘Horrifying to anyone with normal sensibilities

The remains of more than 2,000 fetal remains that were discovered in the Illinois home of one of the Midwest’s most prolific abortion doctors received a mass burial Wednesday at a cemetery in Indiana.

Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill, a Republican, spoke after the burial at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend, telling a crowd that the remains’ discovery was “horrifying to anyone with normal sensibilities.”

Wednesday’s service came five months after relatives sorting through Dr. Ulrich Klopfer’s belongings following his Sept. 3 death came across 2,246 sets of preserved fetal remains stacked floor to ceiling in his garage in a suburb of Chicago. 165 more were later found in a trunk of a car at a Chicago-area business where Klopfer kept vehicles.

Hill said the fetal remains resulted from abortions Klopfer had performed at his Indiana clinics in the early 2000s but had “ghoulishly packed up and stored away in his garage” and “callously discarded in the trunk of his car for nearly two decades.”

“The shocking discovery of 2,411 medically preserved fetal remains in Illinois, left in a garage and in the trunk of a car, was horrifying to anyone with normal sensibilities,” Hill said, adding that the remains had now received “an appropriate resting place.”

Following the service, many of those who gathered at the cemetery prayed, sang songs and listened to remarks by anti-abortion activists, the South Bend Tribune reported.

Klopfer, who was 79, performed tens of thousands of abortions over 40 years, mainly in Indiana — a state with some of the nation’s toughest anti-abortion laws — and was often as the only abortion doctor serving South Bend, Gary and Fort Wayne. He was a reviled figure among anti-abortion activists, who held weekly demonstrations outside his now-shuttered clinics.

Klopfer’s medical license was suspended in 2016 by Indiana regulators who cited shoddy record keeping and substandard patient monitoring. Klopfer alleged that conservative state officials were in cahoots with anti-abortion groups to close him down.

Hill said in a message posted on his office’s Facebook page along with a video of his remarks that the remains “were senselessly hoarded by Dr. Ulrich Klopfer after he performed the abortions.”

Hill’s office continues to investigate the fetal remains, after releasing a preliminary report in December on the discovery of the remains in Illinois and thousands of abandoned patient medical records found at Klopfer’s former Indiana clinics and other properties.

2,246 in jars, stacked floor to ceiling in his garage, + another 165 in cars.
So, that’s 2409 women over the course of xx number of years that are part of this gruesome story.

I wonder if all those women have seen or heard the news, and remember Dr. Ulrich as their provider.
I wonder if all those women even give a damn about whatever happened to their aborted fetus.
I wonder if any of those women voted in the last few elections.
I wonder how they voted, on the topic of Pro-Life, vs. A Woman’s Right to Choose.

I wonder too, if any of those mothers have passed away…and what they might tell us NOW, if they could.

This prompted me to review the One Child Nation video. I know they were just little yellow babies, but they didn’t even bother putting them into jars.

They just tossed them into bags labelled “medical waste” and tossed them into trash heaps.

Don’t see it? Well, it is just a little yellow baby in a little yellow bag.

I think he mentioned finding 5 that he can point to in that wider image.

I can’t stomach it. Every time I see something like that I think to myself, I would have taken that little fella and taught him how to hunt and fish. Yes I would, I would take a whole passel of them, girls and boys, let them run down the corn rows giggling and hiding from each other. I need to shut up.

That’s so sad, M G. It’s a tragedy for the mother and for the child. But they could have given the fetus a proper burial rather than label it (medical) waste.

EC…. that was the Family PLanning Committee’s decision on how to dispose of the unauthorized fetuses they aborted.

That was how the late-term abortions ended up… in landfills.

The photographer has preserved several of them in jars for his project to make sure the world does not forget what collectivism does to humanity.

Anon, he is a doctor, not a ‘provider’ – that is newspeak for doctors and their assistants – healthcare providers.

As for the fetuses, our science teacher had a fetus in a jar of formaldehyde in school. We didn’t consider it a moral matter, it was a curious proof of life – how we develop in the womb.

We gnash our teeth when confronted with this when we imagine they are white kids but we might hear some cheering for the doctor if we learned the fetuses belonged to black women, considering the location is a black region where the Jacksons grew up.

I don’t see a problem with his stashing the fetuses, at least he had the decency to not toss them in the trash or sell them to labs that manufacture life extension and youth serums for the oligarchs.

I knew an archaeologist with several shrunken human heads on his shelves… contraband from central and southern regions where he excavated stuff for people. He worked, oddly enough, for NASA in Houston, where you call if you have a problem on the way to the moon.

Then agree to disagree.
If he delivered as many babies as he aborted, then an argument could be made that he is a Doctor.

He was medically licensed and provided a service to the mothers>>>
the convenient termination and disposal of an unwanted pregnancy.
A life form was ended.
But he didn’t really dispose of the remains. He collected them. 2000+
Most Doctors don’t save and preserve the lifeless victims of their practices.

Healthcare?
Performing that service in a manner that is safer for the mother, caring for her health, huh?
Sure beats a back alley butcher job by some ghoul who didn’t get a diploma from med school.
That’s the justifiable logic here?
Didn’t really care so much for the health of the unborn baby now, did they? Both Mom and Doc.

As for your science teacher displaying a fetus in a jar, and your class thinking that was just a proof of life, that just reinforces that life begins with a heartbeat, well before the gestation period is complete, and during all stages of development.

If that was a real fetus, then it could be debated, whoever made the decision to allow that in your science class is as morbid as Doc Ulrich.

Don’t assume that whites reading the article think it’s tragic, but not so much, if in fact, the remains were predominantly black, or any other ethnicity than Caucasian.
Life’s life, regardless of color, and death is death.
Dignity ought to factor in somewhere among such a tragic, repetitive extinguish program.

And if you don’t see a problem with him stashing fetuses, then you’re as messed up as he is.
Thought you were a guy who had some religious faith in your core beliefs. Astonishing.

The guy was obviously either a sociopath or psychopath or both. He got his thrills by legally serial-killing babies. Thus the retained “trophies” of the preserved remains.
This probably satisfied his blood lust, because he very well could have ended up killing adults as well, although that may yet still be discovered. No other reasonable explanation in my opinion.
