The New York Times’ assault on white Americans, about which I wrote yesterday ( https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2020/02/11/the-new-york-times-assault-on-white-americans/ ), is not unique to the New York Times. White people are the targets of Identity Politics—the political ideology of the Democrat Party. The demonization of white people is the main focus of “Black Studies” in universities and schools. Corporate adds now engage in attacks on white ethnicities, such as this Scandinavian Airlines ad: https://youtu.be/ljtFEMAfQ_E . Not to be left out of the fun of beating up on white people, PBS announced that the propaganda film, The Long Shadow ( http://thelongshadowfilm.com ), will be aired 697 times on 176 PBS stations and channels across 70% of the US.
The Long Shadow is an ignorant or intentionally propagandistic film. The premise is that white-imposed institutional anti-black racism, “guided by the South’s powerful political influence, steadily, deliberately and at times secretly, established white privilege in our institutions, laws, culture and economy.” This is an amazing lie. Slavery was universal. Muslims held millions of white slaves obtained from raids on European coastal towns. Was this “Muslim anti-white racism, guided by Islam’s powerful influence,” or was it the appropriation of labor, as were feudal dues or the modern income tax on labor? How come slavery is only something whites did to blacks, and not something that Muslims did to whites or blacks to blacks? As the historic record makes certain, the black slave trade originated in Africa in the black king of Dahomey’s slave wars against other black tribes.
When whites held whites as slaves, was this white-imposed anti-white racism?
These questions are carefully avoided by The Long Shadow film, by the New York Times’ 1619 Project, by Black Studies, and by Identity Politics as is the question: Where did the black slaves come from?
The answer is that they came from the black kingdom of Dahomey.
Does this mean that blacks, “guided by the black king’s powerful influence imposed anti-black racism and institutionalized this racism in Dahomey’s laws and homegrown African institution of the black slave trade?”
What about the Jewish slave traders? Are they also responsible for institutionalizing racism?
Why did slavery only cast evil over America and not over Greece, Rome, Europe, the Muslim world, and black Africa? What kind of bullshit game are PBS, the New York Times, Identity Politics, Black Studies, school districts, and corporations playing?
How is it that slavery is white racism when every race has owned slaves?
According to The Long Shadow propaganda, the filmmakers are two “privileged daughters of the South, who were haunted by their families slave owning past” and made the film as an act of exorcism. Slavery in the US ended more than one and one-half centuries ago. Does anyone really believe that today, after 55 years of minority preferences in university admissions and employment, two people in the 21st century are remorseful over a feature of an ancestor’s society in the 19th century? What sense does this make?
What is wrong with the New York Times, PBS, universities, and Democrats that they are unable to comprehend that for the United States slavery was an inherited institution, not one created by the Founding Fathers or by Southerners?
The answer is that they are determined not to understand anything. The intent is to demonize white people.
If Jews are demonized, it is hate speech and anti-semitism.
If blacks are demonized, it is hate speech and racism.
But when whites are demonized it is OK, but it is not OK for whites to protest their demonization. So, how is there white privilege when whites are the only race whose demonization is encouraged, and, if whites protest, it is regarded as proof that they are unrepentant white supremacists?
The demonization of white people is so out of hand that today white Americans and Europeans are demonized worse that Jews were demonized in National Socialist Germany. No good can come from this. Whenever I read stuff like this, I think of my next door neighbor in Bakersfield. He was a black guy doing his history thesis at Cal State Bakersfield on a fellow named Allen Allensworth. I wish I could remember his name so I could look up his research, but here’s what I remember from our conversations.
My neighbor historian hated the US story about black history as he saw it that there were many successful self-made black that never got into the narrative. His was quite the libertarian and his goal was to introduce black kids to a history of success built on self-reliance, and this Allen Allensworth was his first attempt.
From memory, this Allen Allensworth was among the handful of black NCO’s in the US Navy just prior to the Civil War (in reality War of Secession, but I digress). He served during the entirety of the Civil War and later retired with a pension (on record). After the war he was somewhat successful in business and made contact with other such black men who shared his vision – that black people could only achieve success in isolation from whites (i.e., they would forever get ripped-off by bankers), that more black people would be successful if isolated from whites (i.e., all their spending went to other black people), and only after a large contingent of successful black people existed could they then join with whites as equal partners. He convinced many of these associates to cash in their businesses and move as far west as they could and settle a part of the country to exist in isolation. Thus they moved to California and founded Allensworth.
Things were rough for a while as this region is arid but in that time the people of Allensworth managed to-
1) Incorporate the first school district in the USA founded and run by blacks;
2) Send some of – if not first, can’t remember – the first black legislators to Sacramento;
3) Send some of the first black students to Stanford.
Education was a big priority to the town and white teachers were contracted from San Francisco and Sacramento, attracted by the high pay offered. Law enforcement was very strict as the town had a reputation to build.
Later, the LA aqueduct was built and as luck has it the town sat on organic rich soil. Land values went up, and the locals used that equity to borrow money to buy surrounding lands. Within about 10 years the town had a population in the low thousands, having attracted ambitious black people from across the USA. All business in the town was black owned and black operated – banks, doctors offices, shops, etc. The only whites were the teachers.
Things were great up until the depression, where most if not all everyone with mortgaged land lost everything, like everyone else in agriculture back then. But for a while, it was a booming success that was never attempted again, and which the creation of the welfare state ensured would never be repeated.
It is this history of self-sufficiency and risk taking that gets suppressed by the race hustle. I’ve looked up Allensworth and get nothing anywhere that matches anywhere near to what my neighbor described. This race hustle shit is just as bad for black people as it is for white people, as it cements the black victim narrative and denies black people access to their many true success stories and brave attampts at success that just get squashed by the machine.
None of that matters. Just because IKAGO and the “talented tenth,” it doesn’t mean that blacks
can live side-by-side with Whites. Even Lincoln said as much. Don’t bother yourself with fantasies. It’s just a unproductive rathole you’re running down.
The race narrative is just that, a narrative. Black, white, red, yellow, hazel or what ever other shade a person can come up with is just a narrative for the puppet masters. The solution is simple, don’t play their game. Stop reacting to the string pulling. Start treating each other with a little respect when it is deserved. Once that happens then a solution can be implemented if one is even necessary. This is everyone’s issue and it is everyone’s job to stop it for themselves. To hell with msm, pbs, nyt, naacp, puppet masters and the like. They are the real enemy of the human race. They are keeping it alive and adversarial. Stop letting all these ass-hats manage your life.
I could not have said it better. We had a “Black” POTUS that made serious inroads into the great work that Dr. Martin Luther King got done. “Color Blind” includes being tolerant to all colors, White included!

Sorry Oldtimer, but the Conservative, Inc. narrative that “race doesn’t matter” or “I don’t see race” will never work. While it may be true for some heritage (white) Americans, it is certainly not the case for the vast majority of blacks. They see everything through the lens of skin color – when they see you all they see is a white oppressor. Democrat/Republican, liberal/conservative, hetero/homo, tall/short, fat/skinny, etc. – none of that matters. You are white (therefore an oppressor who deserves scorn), and they are black (therefore a perpetual victim); it is all they will ever see.

It is the way of controlled populations… a predator and a prey always emerge.
In China, it became men versus women, as the preference for sons to carry on the family name/line led to a bias against female children beyond the “norm” of a few percent. While you might argue there was not intentional predatorial behavior by male babies or even by men, it was a social norm that drove the behavior to the point there is a real shortage of babymakers in China.
The women preferred male children and would give up the first girl child instead of being sterilized. That’s the choice they had.
So, the new, improved policy is two children, but it is probably too late… the imbalance causes great stress on a society and death is the only equalizer.
