After the Covid-19 lockdown ended, two young businessmen in Florida
were sitting down for a needed break in their soon-to-be-new-store in
the shopping mall. As yet, the store’s merchandise wasn’t in — only a
few shelves and display racks set up.
One of the youngsters said to the other, “I’ll bet that any minute now,
some senior is going to walk by, put his face to the window, and ask
what we’re selling.”
Sure enough, just a moment later, a curious senior gentleman walked up
to the window, looked around intensely, rapped on the glass, then in a
loud voice asked, “What are ya’ll selling here?”
One of the young men sarcastically replied, “We’re selling assholes.”
Without skipping a beat, the old-timer replied, “You must be doing
quite well………only two left.”

Many moons ago, I used to drop onto FF with a funny-ass joke, typically to rave reviews / thumbs.
Do a historical dive, into the archives. I ain’t bullshittin’ ya.
But, I had no stash or great abundance; only memory, and you know how that goes as we age.
Then Mark in SC picked up where I left off, and had a good run himself here for a while.
I should have been cataloguing them, over the course of 45+ years of hearing good ones.
Then, the fun would have lasted much longer. Too bad, really because
Laughter really is the best medicine.
