You cannot teach people to apply logic. I know many highly intelligent people who are completely oblivious to reality. Many simply don’t care. At some point the consequences of being willfully ignorant can no longer be ignored.
You absolutely can teach people the fundamentals of logic and logical arguments. But in the gulag of government day prisons that masquerade as schools, such education is not just willfully avoided, but even countered by teachings that cannot sustain themselves in the face of logic. Not that a good job is done in most private schools either. I was blessed to have been taught basic logic very early in school. Even older folks can be re-trained, but if they are confronted by lie after lie and illogical argument after illogical argument 24/7 in the media, their own training will fall by the wayside as they begin to believe the “new logic.”
The Amish only attend school to seventh grade. They fund and maintain their own schools.
I’m betting the Amish will come out of this shitstorm in far better shape than all of you victims of higher education here in the USSA.
This reminds me of what Mark Twain said, “It’s easier to fool people than it is to convince them that they have been fooled”.
Knowledge in and off itself is useless without understanding.
When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
The problem is that the teacher is usually a rabid, radical commie hell bent on indoctrination of our youth, instead of teaching subjects that are required to develop essential critical thinking skills.
That’s why we have the meme “why Johnny can’t think.”
Do you suppose that was the underlying nefarious intent for the creation of the Dept. of Education, or in doublespeak, the ministry of truth?
It has now boiled down to “the truth is what I say it is” – crooked Senator line from the essential to watch movie, Shooter.
The truth has become abstract and cannot exist intact or stand alone in government or religious circles.
In those circles, it has become Critical Truth Theory. This is then advanced as “the truth is what I say it is.”
Truth is now relegated to the backwater of obscurity and no longer shines like a beacon to guide the people along the path of righteousness.
For without truth, righteousness or the people cannot exist in a realm of lawlessness and chaotic destruction.
This is the formula used time and time again to fracture and weaken a nation designated as an enemy of those who want to have a world of their own.
If you’ve noticed, it’s only the white European nations and the U.S. that have been targeted for destruction not only the country, but its indigenous inhabitants, as well.
109 nations have felt their sting and had sense enough to expel the parasite before that last vital drop of life blood was sucked from their veins.
Will the U.S. be the 110th, or will it succumb to their deadly sting and be bled white until its parched, dry bones lie glistening in the sun for all posterity to mourn? Only time will tell, my friend, only time will tell.
