The answers all involve tough love. Mental institutions. Work camps. And zero tolerance for living on the street. Our society has degraded because we have made it too easy to be non-productive, to mask the destruction of middle-class jobs. It may seem mean-spirited, but it’s the only way to get things going back in the right direction.

John Tory ran as a Conservative for an easily winnable provincial election a few years back only to lose by running on a losing issue of faith based schools. He then ran for mayor of Toronto and has proved himself to be more liberal than the provincial Liberals he lost to.
The current Conservative premier of Ontario Doug Ford, who fooled a lot of us into thinking he was as conservative and for the people as his now deceased brother, former Toronto mayor Rob Ford, has proved himself to be no conservative and is acting in lock-step with PM Trudeau to encourage mask bylaws, further lockdowns and Covid detention centres by threatening to cut off funding to municipalities if they don’t comply with federal and provincial ‘guidelines’.
Between Tory’s Toronto, and Doug Ford’s Ontario, and many decades of corruption by all political parties, southern Ontario has become a shit hole. I say this as someone who has voted for Conservative or Reform candidates my whole life. There is currently no credible alternative that we can elect to counter to the liberal and socialist policies that have destroyed this country. Our so called conservatives are all for UN initiatives based around sustainable development that include proven failed green energy, gun grabs and bike lanes in cites where there’s winter more than 6 months a year. I don’t see how we vote ourselves out of this mess.
