A collaboration of: “The Classic Music Mafia”
nkit, Austrian Peter, and Steve C.
Every Sunday morning we present selections for our TBP family to enjoy.
We present symphonies, ensembles, quartets, octets, etc.
Not all of our music is strictly ‘classical’. We may stray a little, but we strive to make all of our selections ‘classy’.
We offer tips on proper ‘symphony etiquette’ and even some selections that are a bit light-hearted and fun aimed at a younger audience. Those pieces will be so designated, and might be a good way to introduce kids to a world of music that they might not have been exposed to or think of as old and ‘stuffy’.
A full symphony will run as long as it will. We don’t want to cut a symphony short. However, we also include some shorter pieces that we try to keep under fifteen minutes in length. You can sample each and hopefully find one or more that pleases you.
We hope that you enjoy our Sunday selections.

Celtic Woman
Live at Slane Castle
I recognize that this is something a little different, but it meets our primary criteria. It is good. It is very good…
Lisa Kelly, born in Dublin, Ireland, was cast in the American production of Riverdance, The Show as lead female vocalist in 2000, a position she held for five years while touring. While touring with Riverdance, Lisa met Australian dancer Scott Porter, who later became her husband.
They currently reside in Peachtree City, Georgia, USA, where she announced the opening of The Lisa Kelly Voice Academy, indicating a switch from performing to teaching.
This is Lisa Kelly at her best.
Enjoy.
The Classic Music Mafia – Adding some class to this joint one Sunday at a time.
Heaven help us…

Thanks for all that you do..You know, it’s been fun…thanks
You’ll always hook me with some Wolfie, men.
That 2nd movement that starts at about the 10:30 mark was featured prominently in a scene in
Amadeus, that emphasizes the incredible creativity in the mind of that man. A beautiful tune indeed.
And Lisa Kelly sings like an angel, she does.
So does Chloe, from that roster of Celtic Woman.
Their version of You Raise Me Up will cause goosebumps and tears of joy for some of us.
Great stuff again.
Thanks for carrying on.
Thanks SMC. We miss you.
And you are right. Lisa Kelly sings like an angel.
She got me thru some pretty bad times a few years back.
So when are you coming back to us?
Celtic Woman’s version of “You Raise Me Up” will be featured in our first year anniversary edition on February 1st.
