Just what war did Sun Tzu actually win? Tried to look it up but appears he only took place in possibly one battle, not like he was some kind of General Nathan Bedford Forrest . Some of his quotes.

“War means fighting, and fighting means killing.”
and
“I done told you twice already goddammit no!”
and who can forget
“I am not here to pass civilities or compliments with you, but on other business. I have stood your meanness as long as I intend to. You have played the part of a damned scoundrel, and are a coward, and if you were any part of a man I would slap your jaws and force you to resent it. You may as well not issue any more orders to me, for I will not obey them… and as I say to you that if you ever again try to interfere with me or cross my path it will be at the peril of your life.”
That was what he told General Braxton Bragg (Fort Bragg in NC is named for him), his commanding officer.

The Chinese military as well as civilian leadership remembers who Sun Tzu was and incorporate his extraordinary vision and wisdom into their tactics and strategies today.

Contemporary ‘Merkin political and military leadership are still focused on trying to defeat the Taliban (a great job after 19 years;) mop up the continuing mess in Iraq; have troops policing a hundred nations around the globe combined with spending mountains of shekels on super pricey Pentagram programs; hoist the banner of social justice and transsexual rights plus think it is the American people who are the enemy.

Doesn’t bode well for one of the potential combatants.
